The Unwanted Luna: Claimed By The True Alpha King Novel Cover

The Unwanted Luna: Claimed By The True Alpha King

For seven years, I was the barren, wolf-less Luna, tolerating my husband's coldness and his "friendship" with Haven. I thought I was defective. Until I found the papers transferring our pack's wealth to Haven's son—a boy with Aiden's eyes. When I tried to leave, Haven framed me for kidnapping the child. Aiden didn't ask for an explanation. He didn't check the tracker that proved my innocence. He let them drag me to a warehouse, bound in silver chains that burned my skin. Drugged into a feral state, my own mate beat me until my ribs shattered, believing I was a rogue enemy. Through the haze of pain, I heard Haven's voice over the intercom, laughing. "She thinks she donated a kidney to you, Aiden. She doesn't know we drained her Wolf Essence to boost your power." My weakness wasn't a sickness. It was a theft. They had cannibalized my soul to build his throne. I was supposed to die there. But as Aiden walked away, leaving me in a pool of blood, a power I thought was lost ignited in my veins. I dragged myself to the wall and wrote with trembling, bloody fingers: "I REJECT YOU." The bond severed with a crack like thunder. They thought they were burying a dog. They didn't realize they were waking a Phoenix.

Chapter 9

Aiden POV:

I woke up in the driver's seat of my SUV.

It was parked on the shoulder of the highway, miles from the estate. Rain hammered the roof. My head felt split open with an axe. I looked down at my hands. Knuckles bruised and bloody.

"What the hell..."

My memory was Swiss cheese. I remembered the alarm... Leo being found... then a red haze.

I drove home. Inside, Leo was eating ice cream on the couch. Safe.

"Where is Haven?" I asked the head maid.

"Guest cottage, Alpha. You ordered it before you left. Said no one enters the main house until the Luna returns."

Did I?

I walked to the master bedroom. Empty. Closet half-emptied.

"Charlotte?"

Silence. I sat on the bed. Sheets smelled of jasmine and vanilla, fading fast.

I tried the Mind-Link. Usually, it's a hum in the back of your head.

Charlotte?

Nothing. Just... void. Like stepping off a cliff.

Panic spiked. "Kayla!" I roared over the pack link. "Office. Now!"

Five minutes later, she stood there, terrified.

"Where is she?"

"I don't know, Alpha. She texted me she was going on a trip."

"Liar." My wolf paced, whining. Mate gone.

I logged into the tracker interface. I'd given her the anklet to keep her safe. The dot blinked. Not the airport. Not a hotel.

It was in the industrial district. Warehouse 4. The place we used for interrogating Rogues.

"No," I whispered.

I stood up, and a sudden pain ripped through my chest—a tearing sensation over my heart. I doubled over. Every wolf knew this pain.

The bond. It hadn't just faded. It had been violently severed.

"Get the car," I wheezed. "Now!"

After Divorce:My arrogant ex-husband regrets Novel Cover
7.1
I sat alone at my long marble dining table, staring at a plate of cold truffle risotto. My husband, Jere, was late again, claiming he was stuck in a "war zone" of a board meeting for a multi-billion dollar merger. A single Instagram notification shattered the silence. It was a photo of a candlelit birthday dinner, featuring a man's hand resting on a white tablecloth. I recognized the slight veins, the jagged scar on the thumb, and the navy-faced Patek Philippe watch I had spent six months tracking down as a wedding gift. Jere wasn't in a boardroom; he was celebrating his ex-girlfriend Irina's birthday while texting me to "don't wait up." The next morning, I followed him to a VIP hospital wing. I watched through a cracked door as my husband cuddled a five-year-old boy and whispered tender promises to Irina. When he came home, he tried to buy my silence with a rare pink diamond bracelet, but I found the receipt: he had bought two identical ones. He had branded his wife and his mistress with matching jewelry, using hidden trackers to keep us both on a leash. When I confronted him, he didn't flinch. He coldly reminded me that he owned my father's massive debts and could send him to prison for insolvency fraud with one phone call. "Stop with the attitude, Deliah," he said. I felt like a ghost haunting my own life, trapped in a gilded cage by the man who paid for my mother's heart surgery while keeping a secret family across town. The humiliation peaked at our rescheduled anniversary dinner when Jere received a text, threw a stack of hundreds at me like I was a stranger, and abandoned me in a crowded restaurant to rush back to her. "Pay the bill," he commanded before walking out. Standing in the wreckage of a shattered crystal vase back at the penthouse, I realized my silence was the only thing keeping his empire standing. I pulled the crumpled divorce papers from my purse and signed my name with a steady hand. I wasn't just walking away; I was calling his sister to help me burn his perfect world to the ground.
