An accidental night of passion between Elena Vance and Cillian Thorne, the undisputed king of power in the capital, resulted in an unexpected pregnancy. However, Elena's envious sister, consumed by greed, stole her identity and successfully positioned herself as Cillian's true love. Elena was cast aside and branded a manipulative social climber who used a pregnancy to trap a man who loathed her.
On their wedding night, while Elena was heavily pregnant, Cillian heartlessly sent her to the operating table. Despite her desperate pleas for the sake of their unborn child, Cillian remained cold: "You aren't worthy of carrying my legacy." He tormented her relentlessly until Elena "died" right before his eyes in a tragic accident.
Four years later...
Elena returns to the city, radiant, successful, and accompanied by a brilliant young child. Only then does Cillian realize he had been blinded by lies Elena was the woman he had been searching for all along.
The once ruthless and tyrannical Cillian Thorne now kneels in the rain, clutching a diamond ring.
"Elena, I was wrong. Let me take you and our child home."
She only offers a frigid smile and looks down at her son.
"Look closely, darling. Remember this face. This is the monster who wanted to kill you before you were even born."
The Forsaken Bride Chapter 1
Hot, so hot... Elena Vance restlessly unbuttoned her collar and opened her eyes. Immediately, the overwhelming presence of a strange man assaulted her senses as he kissed her! In the darkness, Elena panicked. How could there be a man in her bed? Was her cousin, Daphne Vance, really planning to ruin her?
The man's strength was immense. Lately, Elena had been forced to give blood every three days to treat her sister's illness. Already weakened, she was no match for him.
"Let me go... who are you? Let go!" Elena struggled desperately. The man pinned her arms down, stopping her from pushing him away. They were so close she could feel his heavy breath and racing heartbeat. His kisses trailed from her lips down to her collarbone. Weak and helpless, her voice cracked with tears. "Please... don't touch me..."
His breath was domineering, and his hoarse voice commanded, "Kiss me."
"You jerk, let me go!" Elena cried out, but the man took her into the depths of despair.
The Morning After
When she woke, it was almost dawn. Elena looked at the man beside her his back turned and cried her heart out. Her cousin, Daphne Vance, was truly heartless! To please her own sister, Daphne had forbidden Elena from seeing her sweetheart, Jackson Reed, and arranged for a stranger to ruin her purity. Now, Elena felt she could never face Jackson again.
However, this was an opportunity to escape. She refused to be a permanent prisoner, supplying bone marrow and blood to her sister. Elena scrambled into her clothes, intending to sneak away. In her haste, she didn't notice a jade pendant bracelet slip from her wrist onto the carpet. Before vanishing, she caught one glimpse of the man in the dim light: a prominent lion tattoo across his broad back.
The Swap
In a nearby alley, Elena was intercepted by Daphne Vance. "Trying to run? Not so easy!" Several burly men grabbed Elena, muzzling her and dragging her toward a van.
Daphne then hurried back to the hotel room to retrieve the hidden camera footage, intending to use the video of the "sleazy old man" to destroy Elena's reputation. But when she watched the screen, she gasped. The man in the video wasn't the drunk she had hired.
"It's... it's Cillian Thorne! His legs..." Daphne smashed the device in a jealous rage. She couldn't believe Elena's luck. But then, a vicious plan formed. She called the driver in the van: "Release Elena. Let her run!"
"What?" the driver stammered.
"I said let her go! Did you not hear me?" Daphne's voice was icy. Only if Elena disappeared could Daphne step into her place.
The Emperor's Search
In the suite, Cillian Thorne woke with murderous intent. The woman from last night was gone. He called his assistant, Philip Woods. "Investigate the woman from last night. Find her and kill her without mercy."
Cillian had been set up and drugged, stumbling into this room in desperation. He assumed the girl was part of the trap. But as he stood up to shower, he stepped on something: the jade charm bracelet.
His heart stopped. This was the token he had given a little girl who saved his life years ago. Could it be her? He pulled back the sheet, seeing the maiden's mark left behind. His cold heart softened.
He immediately called Philip back.
"Change of plans. Find the woman. Check if she has a ghost orchid birthmark on her shoulder. If she does, bring her to me... and prepare the wedding. I'm going to marry her."
One Month Later
Elena Vance emerged from a small clinic, clutching a positive pregnancy test. She was overwhelmed by despair. She was pregnant, and the doctor warned that her weakened state made an abortion life-threatening.
She had been hiding in the slums of North City, scavenging to survive, away from the Vance family's reach. But as she stood on the sidewalk, a black limousine pulled up.
"Are you Elena Vance?" a man in a suit asked.
"No... you have the wrong person," she whispered, backing away.
The man ignored her, reporting to the figure in the car: "Young Master Seven, she has been found."
The window rolled down, revealing Cillian Thorne's stern profile. "Take her away."
Elena was forced into the car, blindfolded. In the struggle, her pregnancy test fell to the pavement. Philip Woods picked it up, his brow furrowing as he read the result.
When the blindfold was finally removed, Elena found herself in a room decorated in wedding crimson. Before her sat Cillian Thorne in his wheelchair, radiating an intense, suffocating pressure.
His first words struck her like lightning:
"Surgery or a medical abortion which do you prefer?"

In the roaring flames of the abandoned warehouse, my skin blistered and peeled.
Through the crackling fire, my sister Elara's malicious voice echoed. She told me my husband, Damien, was dead, and it was all my fault.
For years, I had treated Damien like a monster. I fought him, threw tantrums, and desperately tried to escape our marriage, all because I blindly followed Elara's advice.
"Remember, the harder you fight, the more disgusted he'll get."
She texted me things like that, telling me to smash vases over his head and run away, claiming she was protecting me.
In reality, she was poisoning my mind, stealing my valedictorian spot at university, and plotting to crawl into my billionaire husband's bed.
My foolish rebellion cost me everything, ultimately leading to Damien's tragic death and my own fiery end.
As the massive explosion tore my consciousness to shreds, I finally understood who truly loved me and who the real monster was.
I died suffocating on my own agonizing regret, wishing I could tear Elara apart.
Then, a rush of freezing air punched into my lungs.
I opened my eyes to the crisp scent of cedar and mint. I was back seven years ago, on the very night our marriage was supposed to go to hell.
This time, looking at Damien's flawless, unscarred face, I didn't push him away.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and made a silent vow: I would make every single person who ever hurt him bleed.

My husband, Bennett, and I were New York's golden couple. But our perfect marriage was a lie, childless because of a rare genetic condition he claimed would kill any woman who carried his baby. When his dying father demanded an heir, Bennett proposed a solution: a surrogate.
The woman he chose, Aria, was a younger, more vibrant version of me. Suddenly, Bennett was always busy, supporting her through "difficult IVF cycles." He missed my birthday. He forgot our anniversary.
I tried to believe him, until I overheard him at a party. He confessed to his friends that his love for me was a "deep connection," but with Aria, it was "fire" and "exhilarating."
He was planning a secret wedding with her in Lake Como, at the same villa he'd promised me for our anniversary.
He was giving her a wedding, a family, a life—all the things he denied me, using a lie about a deadly genetic condition as his excuse. The betrayal was so complete it felt like a physical shock.
When he came home that night, lying about a business trip, I smiled and played the part of the loving wife.
He didn't know I'd heard everything.
He didn't know that while he was planning his new life, I was already planning my escape.
And he certainly didn't know I had just made a call to a service that specialized in one thing: making people disappear.

In the two years after I married Daniel Carter, my private photos had gone viral nine times, and Daniel had been taken into custody ten times.
Because every time his mistress, Emily Morgan, was unhappy, she would leak my private photos all over the internet.
I, Claire Parker, never let it slide. I reported every shady business Daniel was involved in and personally sent him behind bars.
That lasted until an unexpected kidnapping. I took a bullet for him, one aimed straight at his heart, and he shielded me beneath his body, taking the brunt of the explosion for me.
After we survived, the man who had always been so cold-blooded knelt before me, his voice hoarse beyond recognition.
"Honey, let's leave the drama behind. I just want a peaceful life with you."
Right in front of me, he ordered his men to send his mistress out of Northhaven and never let her appear before him again.
In the third year after we reconciled, I carried my eight-month pregnant belly and brought him lunch.
But on the way there, I was hit by a car. The hospital issued three critical condition notices, yet they still could not save the baby.
Daniel rushed over, but he did not even spare me a glance. Instead, he pulled the woman who had hit me and her child into his arms, soothing her in a low voice.
"Don't be scared. I'll protect you and the child."
Only then did I realize that the woman who had hit me was the very mistress he had sent away three years ago.
When I demanded an explanation, Daniel brushed it off as if it were nothing. "She didn't do it on purpose. Don't take it out on her and her son. You can have a baby another time."
At that moment, I finally understood. They had gotten back together long ago.
I looked at him and nodded. "Don't worry, this will never happen again."

Darcie Miller survives elite St. Jude's Academy on sarcasm and invisibility, steering clear of golden quarterback Charles Sterling-her most ruthless tormentor. But when her father's bankruptcy hands everything to the Sterling family, Darcie faces a humiliating ultimatum: move into Charles's mansion as his live-in "academic handler" to keep him eligible for graduation.
Now the girl who despises him holds his future in her hands, and the boy who shattered her reputation might be the only one who truly sees her. In a world of cold marble and buried secrets, hate is about to catch fire-and obsession could burn them both.

Waking up with a cold, scaly hand wrapped around my throat wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was realizing I'd transmigrated into the body of Terra Mason—the most despised woman in the entire Enclave. She drugged high-level beast-men and forced them into life-binding bio-contracts. She locked an aquatic warrior in a dry basement until his organs failed. She treated the most lethal males in the city like broken toys.
Zev, the Level 6 serpent who's currently choking me, would rather blow up his own heart than spend another day as my slave. His affection metric? Negative ninety. His trust? Zero.
Then my system activates: the Kore AI. It gives me exactly 500 credits, a medical nano-gel, and a recipe for neutralizing the radioactive poison in mutant meat. Real food. In this world, that's worth more than gold.
I save Rhys, the dying aquatic male everyone left for dead. I season a slab of purple mutant steak until Sam, a battle-scarred grizzly shifter, groans at the taste—and his trust points finally tick above zero. When my backstabbing ex-best friend tries to steal my males and destroy me, I don't scream or throw a tantrum like the old Terra. I dismantle her with the truth.
But earning their trust means more than grilling meat. A scorpion swarm ambushes us at midnight. Sam throws himself between me and a stinger the size of my arm. As he stands over the corpse, fur receding from his claws, he stares at me and whispers, "You were testing me."
Yes. I was. Because in this world, the weak don't survive. And I refuse to be weak again.
Four beast-men. Four contracts. One system. And a whole lot of steak. Let this dystopian wasteland know—I'm not the monster they remember. I'm worse. I'm the one who's going to feed them until they'd kill for me.

"What do you think people would say if they found out you don't have a dick?" Christian asked, his voice low and dripping with seduction. His hand pressed firmly against my crotch, fingers exploring the flat, unfamiliar emptiness there. A devilish smirk curved his lips. "Or if they discovered these voluptuous breasts you've been hiding so well?"
A strangled moan slipped from my throat as his hand slid under my shirt, his fingers brushing over my hardened nipples, teasing them with slow, deliberate strokes.
"Which do you think they'd call you?" he murmured, eyes gleaming. "A boy with tits... or a dickless little fraud?"
I stared into his hungry blue eyes, words failing me.
"The term you're looking for is 'girl,'" came Xavier's smooth voice from the bathroom doorway. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click, his gaze raking over me with open interest. "So tell me, little girl... what the hell is someone like you doing in an all-boys dorm?"
Christian's smirk widened. "She wants to be devoured by boys like us." His fingers gave my nipple one last firm pinch before he leaned in closer, breath hot against my ear. "And I'll be more than happy to give her a taste."
