Rejected Luna's Final Vengeance
Rejected Luna's Final Vengeance Chapter 1
I was kidnapped into the werewolf world by the Entity.
It said that if I could win the affection of any one of the male Alphas, it would send me home.
So, I gave my emotional bond to Philip Hughes, the Alpha who had no emotional connection to anyone.
I gave part of my wolf’s strength to Mac Bennett, the Beta who couldn’t naturally shift.
Finally, I transfused a portion of my blood to Cameron Gibson, the young Gamma struggling to control his wolf.
For five hundred years, I poured everything I had into each of them, giving them pieces of myself.
Yet, it was all for nothing when Alina Woods shed a single tear.
Finally, the Entity declared my failure:
["Host, if you die at the hands of any one of these males, I can send you back to your original world."]
At those words, I, who had been waiting for death, suddenly opened my eyes.
I unsheathed my claws and went straight to one of them.
Just as the Entity thought I would let him end my life,
I swung down and slashed into Philip’s chest.
…
"Everly, this blood isn’t enough. Alina’s mark ceremony is approaching, and she needs more of your blood."
With that, Mac Bennett, my once-beloved Beta, ignored my already battered arm and slashed my wrist with a knife.
I squinted, trying to focus on the face of the man who once swore to love me forever, and whispered, "Mac—"
But he didn’t soften. Instead, he frowned and quickened the pace of drawing my blood.
At that moment, the Entity’s cold voice echoed in my mind:
["Host, the last target’s affection level is in the negatives. The mission is a complete failure."]
["You will be erased in three days."]
I closed my eyes, tears streaming down my face.
Five hundred years ago, I was sleeping peacefully at home when the Entity dragged me into this world and forced me to win the hearts of four Alpha males.
All these years, I’ve been driven by its demands, trying desperately to complete the task.
But no matter how much I gave, they still didn’t love me.
The overwhelming bitterness and sorrow surged in my chest, and my eyes burned with unshed tears.
I struggled to sit up, wanting to ask Mac if he had ever loved me, even a little.
But my body was too weak. Before I could speak, I collapsed back onto the bed, unconscious.
When I woke again, it was pitch black outside.
The Entity’s voice, smooth and coaxing, filled my mind:
["Host, because of your exceptional performance, I’ve made a special request. If you die at the hands of any one of these males, I can send you back to your original world, even if just for a few minutes to see your parents."]
I stared blankly, taking a long moment to process its words.
"You mean, even if I go back, I can’t live my life, go to college, or take care of my parents?"
The Entity’s tone was cold, but I detected a hint of mockery:
["Of course, Host. You failed the mission. I had to make a special appeal just to let your soul return for a few minutes. Don’t be ungrateful."]
At those words, the last glimmer of hope in my heart died.
All these years, I gave everything, devoted myself completely, only to end up like this.
I closed my eyes, silent, waiting for death.
After a while, the Entity spoke again:
["Host, please die at the hands of any one of the males as soon as possible."]
["Host, please die at the hands of any one of the males as soon as possible."]
["…"]
The constant blood loss and the Entity’s relentless repetition made my temples throb as if they would explode.
Was there truly no escape from death?
No matter how hard I tried, was I destined to die?
I opened my eyes sharply.
If that’s the case, then what do I have to fear?
With that thought, I summoned my claws, sharp and deadly.
I gripped them tightly and marched to Philip’s room, throwing the door open.
["Host, let the Alpha end your life, and I’ll take you to see your parents… What—"]
["Host, have you lost your mind?! What are you doing?!"]
Before the Entity could finish its coaxing words, I swung down and slashed into Philip’s bed.
