Reborn: I am no longer the Weak Luna Chapter 1

Elena's POV

“Whore!! Whore!!! Shameless Whore!!!!” My mum screamed and spat on me. “How could you do this to your brother? On your WEDDING anniversary. After everything I did for you!!”

A slap landed on my check, My head snapped to the side. My cheek burned but I swallowed the pain.. My whole body ached like it had been crushed.

Dominic stood beside me but his back turned on me. His hands running through his hair. The way he stood made my heart drop.

Dominic slowly turned and looked for me. His eyes were cold and disgusted.

"D...Dominic...?" My voice trembled.

I tried to stand up because I was kneeling. Cold air brushed against my skin. My dress was badly torn and no one cared to cover me up.

Lilliana walked in, perfectly dressed and more beautiful. She glanced at me like I was nothing, and shook her head.

“Mum, I already talked to the guests. They promised not to spread this issue of Elena having an affair with a rogue.” she said calmly, holding mothers arm.

My mother glared at me. Her eyes were bloodshot. “Why did you plead with them?”

She patted Liliana's palm.”You are such an angel my baby! Always thinking about the family reputation. Not this slut I don't know where we picked her from. Such an ungrateful brat!! People like….”

Dominic's jaw clenched. "Mother enough, we should think about the solution to this."

My chest tightened. " What solution? I was fucking drugged!" I blurted out desperately. "Leonardo raped me! I couldn't move! I couldn't scream, I lost my voice."

"Shut up!! You slut!" Dominic's voice turned icy. "I threw an anniversary party for you and this is how you repay me?"

"No! Brother...Dominic, listen..." I tried to hold him.

"Don't touch me!" he snapped, yanking his hand away. "You disgust me."

My stomach twisted. "I didn't do anything!" I cried. "Something was wrong with me! But we should think about how Leonardo passed the guards and got into my room. Why is no one talking about…."

Lilliana moved forward and knelt down instantly. “It's my fault, Mother. Leonardo asked for the restroom and I showed him upstairs. I had no idea, he and Sister Elena were having an affair.”

My mother stepped forward, her voice sharp. "So this is your revenge?" she said coldly. "Because I made you marry your brother?"

My heart shattered. "M...Mom...?"

"To sleep with a rogue in your husband's room?" she continued.

"I didn't!" I snapped, tears rolling down my eyes.

Lilliana sobbed, " It's all my fault, I should have warned her..." she whispered. "She always said she was forced to marry Brother Dominic. That she never loved him as a man."

The room fell silent. I stared at her.

"I never said that...we never had such a discussion. Lilliana, why are you doing this? You told me Dominic was up….."

Liliana cut me off, “Elena, stop defending yourself and think about how to end this!! Our family reputation is at stake here…not about believing your one-sided story.” She stepped forward to me and held my hands gently. “Elena, Leonardo showed everyone pictures of you and him together. He said you have been dating him for 5 years now.”

“What?” I screamed, and yanked her hands off. I stared at Dominic.

But Dominic's eyes only darkened. He suddenly tossed a short sword onto my lap. The sword I gave him this morning as our WEDDING gift.

"Kill yourself."

The words knocked the air out of me. I stared at the sword blankly.

"I... what?"

"Die," he said coldly. "If they see your sincerity then this matter will end. And our family reputation is saved."

My hands trembled as I looked at my mother. "Mother... he wants me to die...mother say something."

Her expression didn't soften. "Yes," she said calmly. "The entire clan saw your disgrace. Do you think you can still walk around as the Pack Luna? Everyone saw your nakedness!!. Everyone!! even a little child!!. They saw your shame. Only Death can save your face.”

The world shattered.I lost hope but I didn't want to die.

I turned desperately to Dominic.

"I never had an affair with Leonardo.!" I cried. "He knows I was drugged! He..."

Dominic laughed bitterly. "You think anyone here can accuse the Rogue King for rape? He is a business man and he can crush my company with a finger. I can't fight him. You just have to quietly take your life..."

My hands went cold. Lilliana suddenly dropped to her knees again beside him.

"Brother, please don't kill Elena," she cried. "Even if she's not our blood, I still see her as my Little sister. The Pack said they will forgive her if she crawls naked to the gate. She will kneel there for a week and they will forgive her atrocities."

My head snapped up…Before I could speak, Dominic’s hand fisted in my hair.

“Enough.”

Pain tore through my scalp as he dragged me out. I stumbled, barely able to keep up.

The doors burst open. The party hall fell silent seeing me. The women who always try to kiss my ass, they were laughing silently.

Hundreds of eyes locked on me.

Gasps echoed as I struggled to cover my torn dress. Shame burned through me but I still wanted to leave.

Dominic shoved me forward. I hit the cold marble floor hard.

A slow clap echoed. “Well… what an interesting show.”

My blood froze. Leonardo stepped out of the crowd, smiling.

“And here I thought the Moonshadow Luna would last longer than one night.” His gaze slid to Dominic. “Have you decided to give her to me?”

Dominic bowed. “Sir Leonardo… if I knew you wanted her, I would have offered her sooner.”

My chest shattered.I pushed myself up and slapped him.

“How could you?! Brother!! You promised to protect me forever!!”

The next second….He hit me back.

I hit the ground again, harder.

He crouched beside me, his voice low and cruel.

“You should be grateful you still have value. Otherwise, I would have hanged you until you bled out. Do you think I will still want a used woman like you?”

Tears blurred my vision.

He stood up. “Sir Leonardo, if you signed for the project to revive my company..i will give her to you.”

Liliana approached me. She knelt beside me slowly, her face hidden from the crowd by her hair.

“Sister, I told you in this house. No one is important..Not even me. They only see value not family Bonds.…But I am a kind person because I will save you?” she whispered.

My hands trembled. Then..Something cold slipped into my palm.

A car key!

“This is your only chance,” she murmured so quietly only I could hear. “Run… before they hand you over.”
