Chapter 3

Siobhan Bailey's POV

My card is a black card. It's not what an ordinary person wants. It's a symbol of wealth and status.

"It's not a big deal. The most important thing is that my grandfather gave it to me. If he knows it..."

I haven't finished my words yet. Sometimes it's more imaginative to leave a trace of Bradley.

Sally Bailey nudged Sharon Bailey and said in a harsher voice, "go get it now!"

Although Sharon Bailey was reluctant, she was frightened by what I said later. She had to take it out of her bag and give it to me.

I took the card and played with it casually, with an unfathomable smile on my face.

"By the way, there is still my money inside. Give it back to me!" Sharon Bailey suddenly realized something.

"How much is it?" I asked casually.

"Five million."

"Oh, five million..." I lowered my eyes lightly.

The pocket money of Sharon Bailey for a month was only two hundred thousand. Five million had been saved easily for three years. Now it was in the card. How could she not feel sorry if it was taken away by her like this!

"Five million. I'm going to pick up a car." I said to myself and stood up.

Hearing that, Sharon Bailey got angry. "Take my money to pick up the car?"

I dodged the Sharon Bailey sideways, and my eyes suddenly turned cold. "Isn't my car occupied by you now?"

Stunned, Sharon Bailey grinned and said, "I'll give it back to you."

"No, thanks. I don't like the rest of others."

Then I prepared to leave.

"Stop!" Bruce Bailey shouted angrily.

I really stopped, not because of the roar of Bruce Bailey, but because of the news broadcast by the host on TV.

"Hello, everyone. Our reporter interviewed Johnny Stewart,Mr. Stewart from Jumbo Group. Next..."

I squinted at the man who smiled gently on the screen.

Bruce Bailey seemed to be yelling at me, but in my eyes, there is no room for anything but that TV.

Wanted to hear the comments on the man on TV?

Starting from scratch, he had extraordinary ability, gentle and elegant, handsome and rich

Almost all the beautiful words could be used on him.

But I just want to say!

"Bastard!"

Looking at Siobhan Bailey's receding figure, Bruce Bailey almost failed to lift her up in one breath.

Now Siobhan Bailey is really something! How dare she scold him

Tranquil cemetery.

The white road reflected my shadow. The pure black tombstone was solemnly, and the trees planted beside each tombstone and the flowers that appeared from time to time added a lot of light.

I looked at the tombstones one by one and finally stopped in front of one tombstone.

In the black and white photo, there was a young girl's bright smile. She looked innocent and innocent.

I tilted my head and looked at my photos on the tombstone. This feeling of worshiping myself was very magical.

"I'm going back to the Bailey Family." I sat on the ground and murmured to the tombstone in front of me.

"One day, I will let you Bailey Family admit you, Andrea Bailey." I turned to look at a tombstone next to me. "And mom, I'll ask the Bailey Family to admit that you... No, it's us."

I didn't say anything more. I just sat in front of the tombstone. Time passed quickly.

Late at night, I went back to the Bailey Family mansion

The living room was still brightly lit.

"Look at what time it is! How dare you come back!" As soon as ientered the room,I heard Bruce Bailey's roar.

I felt uncomfortable and scratched my ears. It's so boring to roar like this every day.

"Bruce, let's have a talk. Isn't Siobhan always back at this time?" Sally Bailey comforted Bruce Bailey in a soft voice.

"Which good girl came back home at such a late night? She must have done something shameless again! Maybe she just got up from some man's bed!" Bruce Bailey's words were getting harsher and harsher.

I walked up to Bruce Bailey.

"If you don't like me, I can leave now." I said word by word, stretching out my hand, "give me my shares."

"What are you talking about? What shares?" Bruce Bailey's eyes twinkled.

"Don't think that I don't know my mother's will. If you still want to stay in the Bailey Group, you should respect me."

"Is this your attitude towards your father?" Bruce Bailey was furious

I sneered, "you'd better reflect on yourself first."

Then I turned to Sally Bailey and said, "you don't have to pretend to be a kind mother anymore. I feel sick."

I used to call Sally Bailey mom, but now I don't even bother to call her aunt.

Then I went upstairs and didn't want to see the farce downstairs.

"Mom, look at her attitude!" Sharon Bailey couldn't help but complain loudly.

"Your sister has been in prison for three years, and you have to endure her bad temper. It has been so many years." Sally Bailey gently held Sharon Bailey in her arms and comforted her. She didn't seem to be affected by me and still looked like a good wife and a good mother.

"Wasn't everything good in the past? It's distorted in the heart of a prisoner!" Bruce Bailey sat heavily on the sofa and said with hatred.

Sally Bailey also felt strange. Siobhan Bailey used to be an idiot. Siobhan Bailey had always been nice to her, and the two of them treated her as their own mother.

Why did everything change after she was released from prison? Thinking of this, Sally Bailey got flustered. Did Siobhan Bailey know something?

Married To My Ex-Fiancé's Silent Uncle Novel Cover
7.8
Twenty minutes before the "Wedding of the Century" at The Plaza, I stood outside the Presidential Suite in a fifty-thousand-dollar Vera Wang gown. I was the girl from a West Virginia trailer park about to marry Hugh Maxwell, the golden heir to a billion-dollar defense empire. I pushed the door open only to find Hugh pinned against the bed with my own stepsister, Floy. She was wearing my bridal diamond necklace, and the sounds of their laughter scraped against my eardrums like sandpaper. I didn't scream; I listened as Hugh grunted that once the wedding was over and the trust fund unlocked, he’d dump "that hillbilly trash" on a bus back to the mountains. They weren't just cheating; they were planning to steal my family’s land deeds and leave me with nothing. When I set off the sprinklers and exposed their naked bodies to the paparazzi, the Maxwell family didn't apologize. They called me a "greedy peasant" and threatened to ruin my life unless I signed a new deal to save their crashing stock. I realized then that I was never a bride to them. I was a transaction, a rounding error in a ledger to be used and discarded. They thought my poverty made me weak and my silence made me a victim. "If we don't have a marriage certificate by midnight, the bank freezes thirty percent of our liquidity," their lawyer warned. So, I gave them exactly what they wanted. I used a loophole in their hundred-year-old family covenant and married the only other direct heir available. I didn't marry Hugh. I walked into the ICU and married his uncle, Fleet Maxwell—the legendary war hero who had been in a vegetative state for months. Now, I am the matriarch of the Maxwell dynasty. I’ve suspended Hugh’s executive powers, exiled my mother-in-law to the Swiss Alps, and taken control of the family vault. They think I’m just a gold-digger waiting for a "corpse" to die so I can collect a fifty-million-dollar widow's payout. But last night, as I lay beside my comatose husband, the man they called a vegetable gripped my hand back.
