Chapter 7

Finally recollecting myself I ran into the bathroom still very naked.

Sighing as the steamy water from the shower runs down my body. I scrubbed my body thoroughly, mentally trying to erase the feel of Stephano's hands on me.

"I hate him"

"I hate him"

I chant quietly trying to get it into my head. I smile in relief feeling a lot better after I managed to convince myself that I hate him.

After I was done with my bath, I put on a simple summer dress. I wasn't going anywhere so there was no point dressing up. I walk out of the bedroom and skip downstairs in a rush, wanting to check up on Pat.

I felt guilty for what happened to her, yes I didn't shoot her but if I hadn't talked about it with Stephano she wouldn't have been hurt by now.

"Hey" I say to one of Stephano's numerous maids.

"Yes Mrs, how can I help you?" she asks.

"Where is Pat?" I questioned.

"She's having an off day because of her arm injury. She's currently in her room in the maid's quarters down the hall" she replied.

"Ohh… how is she now?" I ask again.

She gives me a quizzical look.

"I have no idea, why don't you go check" she replies barely maintaining her polite facade.

"How do I know her room?" I ask again, already hating the fact that I was asking a lot of questions. Well it's not my fault I have no idea how things work here.

"Again, I have no idea. I don't keep track of things that don't concern me" She replies, turning her attention back to the glass wall in the hallway she was cleaning.

Noticing the slight annoyance lacing her voice I decided to figure out Pat's room myself. Before I left I glanced at the name tag attached to her maid uniform, it read Bianca.

I walked over to the maid's quarters following the directions I was given. I smiled happily after noticing the room's were labeled, I knocked on the door that had Pat's name among the other names.

"Come in," I heard her voice say from inside.

I entered the room noticing the small size, there were two bunk beds inside with only Pat currently occupying the room since the others were working I believe.

"What are you doing here?" Pat asks in disbelief.

"I came to check up on you of course" I replied in a duhh tune.

"Aren't you supposed to be busy arranging your bags?" She inquires.

"My bags? what for?" I ask in confusion.

"Huh? Bianca didn't tell you?" she replies.

"I just had a conversation with Bianca before now and she didn't tell me about anything concerning bags… what was she supposed to tell me?" I replied, very perplexed.

"You will be visiting Stephano's parents this evening, I thought your bags would have been packed by now. Well that was if Bianca had informed you" she says.

I stare at her in shock at this new information. Meeting his parents? I wasn't prepared for this…

"I think you should go now, Stephano would be back soon, he would really hate it if you aren't ready just yet. sorry I can't come along to assist you and I doubt Bianca would be of any help" she mutters.

"Don't worry, it's fine. I'll just go and arrange my bags now" I said then make my way out of her room, rushing back upstairs.

I quickly took off my clothes as it was definitely not presentable for my first meeting with Stephano's parents. I settled on a gray long sleeved top and tight black pants. Nothing special, but at least I didn't look homeless. It's not like I was actually trying to make an effort so I could impress them.

After I was done dressing up and applying a decent amount of makeup, I hurriedly arranged my bags knowing I don't have much time left. I had no idea how long I was going to be staying there so I arranged a week's worth of clothes to be on a safer side.

I exhale in relief as I zip up my mini traveling bag, happy I was able to get ready before Stephano arrived.

Just seconds later Stephano entered the room. I quickly looked away as memories of earlier flooded my head. My face turned deep red as embarrassment rushed through me. I hated the way I moaned at his touch, how I craved it also.

From the corner of my eyes, I see him stare at me in confusion. Probably wondering why I was flustered when he didn't do anything.

"I see you are already packed up, let's go now so we can arrive by evening" he stated.

"Okay" I muttered.

I picked up my bag to follow him, still not looking at him yet. He stopped in front of me and placed his hand on my chin, raising my head to look at him.

"Are you really that flustered because of me now?" he asks while smirking.

"What are you talking about?" I ask playing dumb, forcing himself not to look away so I wouldn't boost his ego.

"Aren't we going anymore?" I ask after our long staring contest.

Without a word he turns away and strides out of the room. I walk quickly to follow his long strides. We entered the back of his SUV, his driver already waiting for us at the front seat.

I stare at the window watching as we drive past these unfamiliar streets. Not gonna lie, I was very nervous about meeting his parents. I heard Stephano is a complete version of his father except he was better.

From what I was told, Stephano's father was brutal in every sense. You wouldn't want to get on his bad side unless you are already tired of life. Why? because he would end you.

I looked at Stephano beside me to see him concreting on whatever he was doing on his phone. He looked calm and collected, but why wouldn't he be? it was his parents for god sake.

My blood runs cold as the car stops in front of Stephano's parents home. It was also a huge mansion similar to Stephano's own, although this one was less morden.

I follow Stephano as he walks to the front door. He rang the doorbell and the door was immediately opened by one of the housemaids.

"Welcome sir, you parents are waiting in the living room" the maid said curtly.

We walk inside and I freeze as I stare back at the cold faces of Stephano's parents judging my every move. They definitely didn't seem to like me.

This was going to be a really long day...
