Chapter 1
Hailey's PoV:
My body was a quckering mess as the ice cold drops of rain drenched me,my clothes stuck to my body like my second skin, my knees are hurting as I am kneeling infront of my father's pack house since an hour but there is no one out here to acknowledge me.
"Ms.Synder! What are you doing in this pouring rain? Please get up and leave." Samuel, My father's Beta urged as his kind eyes took my shivering body.
"No, Samuel. I can't leave until i meet my father." I lift my chin up in defiance. I won't leave until I took what i came here for. My mother is dying and I need money for her surgery, if i don't get the money then I will lost my mother.
"Alpha Timothy is in a meeting, he can't meet you right now." He is just trying to shoo me away but I am as stubborn as my father and i won't leave that easily.
"No." I declined in a no-nonsense tone and he left muttering under his nose that I am as stubborn as my parents. A stab pierced through my heart when I heard him mention my parents. My father and mother were the strong Alpha couple of the pack but woman who is my father's mistress right now ruined everything.
Suddenly there were headlights shining in the distance which blinded me for a second and i hadn't even heard the sound of the screeching tires. The car is moving so fast towards me that I am stuck on the ground with my eyes wide in fear and panic, my body paralysed, unable to move from its place.
"Iam going to die today."
"I am going to die before I get the money for my mother's surgery."
"My mother is going to die alone without me." And the last thought made unfreeze my body as the car skidded to a stop through the place I was occupying just before.
I am breathing hard and my body is shaking now for a different reason.
I was hit by the familiar scent of my step-sister as she stepped down from the car holding a umbrella above her head.
"Oh my god! Hailey! Are you alright? It's dark outside and i couldn't see properly." Her voice dripped with carelessness and sarcasm.
I can see her clearly as she came into the view. She is in high heels with a brand new dress with full face of makeup. Her face looks pretty and innocent but she is cunning and sly.
With a murderous glare i stood up to give a piece of mind to her.
"Tiana Sunder!" I urged whatever hate and anger I have on her to appear on my face so she can see my true feelings towards her.
My wolf is pacing and ready to attack her, she sees Tiana as her enemy and want to challenge her and see her lose like a loser.
"Don't act too innocent, Tiana. I very well know that you did that on purpose." I gritted the words out, my body shaking with anger at her. How dare she thinks I am a fool for believing her lies!
She is one year older than me but she still does these silly things and act so innocent and pure that I want to slap it out of her.
"Shut up!" Tiana's innocent act turned into her ugly scowling face in an instant. She is like a chameleon who turns it's colour according to its surroundings.
Her face turned into a arrogant smirk as she thought of something.
"There is no place for you and your dirty old hag of a mother in this pack. I am the daughter of Alpha Timothy, not you." Her wolf shines through her eyes but she won't intimidate me because I am the real daughter of the Alpha and I am more powerful than her.
"Tiana, you are just a daughter of my father's mistress. How dare you call yourself the daughter of Sunder family!" My anger is burning inside me and her words feels like sharp blades stabbing me painfully.
"You." Tiana raised her hand to slap me as her face contorted in anger at my words but I grabbed her wrist stopping her before her hand touches my cheek.
Tiana got stunned for a second before her body started shaking with rage but she suddenly went slack and her body loosened as her eyes darted behind me and she lost her balance and pushed me back and fell on the ground hard.
"Ah! Hailey! I was just trying to help you. Why did you push me." She accused me as footsteps sounded behind me. Tiana has changed her expression into a pity one. I was grabbed from behind in a tight grip and turned around. My shock subdued at seeing my father, Alpha Timothy standing infront of me, shaking in anger.
"You evil girl. How dare you push Tiana like that." He shook me and slapped me across my face. I was too stunned to speak anything as my father slapped me for his illegitimate daughter.
I am once again on the hard ground, drenched by the rain but this time my face is burning with my father's slap and the pain from his actions and words stabbing me in my heart.
They are both evil and they deserve eachother. There is no place for me and my mother between these monsters. He is being easily manipulated by her and with this i know my father won't give a single cent for my mother.
"Dad! Why did you slap Hailey! I just lost my foot." My father hurriedly helped Tiana from the ground and draped his coat around her shoulders with worry on his face for his elder daughter.
"Why are you defending this evil girl, Tiana. I saw with my own eyes what she did to you." Wow! My own father is believing her against me.
"You are making me sick with your fake concern and acting, Tiana." I can't take her manipulation anymore.
"Stop defending thsi ungrateful and evil girl, Tiana. I have seen with my own eyes what she did to you." My father lashed out, his anger directed towards me.
"Ungrateful? I was at the gate kneeling infront of it for over an hour begging for you to come out and acknowledge me but what did you do? Come here and defend this fake daughter instead of your own daughter!" I don't care if iam crossing the line but it is clear that she is not my father anymore.
A loud growl ripped through his lips and his eyes turned golden as his wolf comes out at my words. He is the Alpha and he don't like any form of disrespect.
"You really are a ungrateful brat. I am not going to give a single penny to you and I am disowning you and banishing you from the pack as your father and the Alpha of the pack." A sudden zap went through me and I feel empty as his words registered. Whatever connection i had with this pack and my father got cut with his rejection. I am no longer the Alpha female of this pack, I am no longer the daughter of Alpha Timothy.
"I Hailey Synder accept your rejection, Alpha Timothy. I no longer belongs to you and this pack." Tiana's mouth was wide open at the same time she has victorious smirk on her lips. My father was stunned at my acceptance but his face changed into a blank one as i turned around to leave.
Nine hundred thousand dollars is a small amount for anyone but for me it's huge and I desperately need it for my mother's surgery, if I don't arrange that amount then i will lose her forever.
"What should I do moon goddess!" I am walking in the rain, as tears streaming down my face and my heart is heavy with my father's rejection and his cruelty to not help me.
"Why don't you ask Francisco! You are his girlfriend." My wolf chimed in. I have totally forget about it but how can I just ask him when I never bothered him with anything! Even if he is from a well known family, he is the self -made billionaire who started his own business.
I have to leave my pride behind for my mother. I hurriedly changed my way and walked towards Francisco's apartment.
"I don't feel right, Hailey." My wolf whisperer, I feel funny in my stomach too as something bad is going to happen. I opened the apartment's door and the mess greeted me in the living room. There are clothes everywhere and particularly there is women's lingerie among the clothes which made me freeze in the doorway.
"Is Francisco cheating on me?" A stab went through my heart at the thought and what will i do If I caught him someone?
"Ah! Harder baby. You are such a bad boy." The feminine voice panted and moaned.
"You siren! You make me crazy." Francisco's voice drifted from the master bedroom as their arousals wafted towards me and i gaged.
I know who the woman is with Francisco and I have never thought I will be betrayed by like this with the two people who mattered most to me.

Johana walked half a mile through a brutal blizzard just to secure a tutoring job with the elite Black family.
But the very night she was hired, she received a terrifying call from the ER—her quiet roommate, Hazelle, had been drugged and severely traumatized at a Hamptons party.
When Johana rushed to the hospital, she didn't find the police. Instead, she found a team of ruthless billionaires erasing the crime.
Leading them was Dalton Black, the cold, arrogant older brother of her new student.
Within minutes, Dalton's fixers wiped the hospital's security footage, deleted all digital evidence, and forcefully transferred Hazelle to a locked private psychiatric facility.
"We are ensuring her privacy."
Dalton's voice was devoid of emotion, treating the horrific assault like a minor PR glitch.
His friends mocked Johana's powerlessness, while Dalton authorized a blank check to pay for the private ward, effectively burying the scandal and buying their silence.
Johana stood in the sterile hallway, trembling with a mix of despair and absolute rage.
How could they destroy an innocent girl's life and simply pay to make it disappear? Why was the truth so easily erased by money?
She had no wealth, no connections, and no proof, but she refused to be a victim of their cover-up.
Staring directly into Dalton's intimidating, icy blue eyes, Johana made a vow.
"I don't want your money. I will find out what you monsters did to her."
She thought the billionaire heir would crush her on the spot, but instead, he watched her walk away and quietly ordered his assistant: "Find out everything about Johana Neal."

Fiona prepared a candlelit anniversary dinner, scallops glistening on porcelain, champagne chilling beside a "Three Years" card—her secret pregnancy swelling beneath her silk dress.
The doorbell rang, but it was just a delivery. Then Emmanuel called: his ex, Carley Marshall, crashed her car. He blew off their night.
Cramps hit like a vise. She collapsed, blood soaking her gown, screaming into the phone: "I'm losing the baby!" Emmanuel scoffed, "Fake ploy for attention," and hung up—Carley's voice cooed in the background.
Paramedics rushed her to ER for emergency D&C. The baby was gone. Audrey saved her life. Emmanuel sent lilies with a card: "Stop dramatizing."
She signed divorce papers. He laughed it off, contested everything, froze her out of hotels and clubs. Dragged her from the St. Regis by force, dumped her sobbing on a rainy sidewalk with her suitcase in puddles—Gus drove off without looking back.
He thought she was manipulating him, playing jealous games for attention. But she'd truly carried his child, bled out alone while he comforted Carley. How could he not believe her, even after the hospital proof? Why twist her agony into lies?
Now blacklisted and broke, Fiona clutched her grandfather's antique restoration tools. No more begging—she'd expose his cruelty, rebuild from the ashes, and make him regret ever underestimating her.

I thought I was just marrying a middle-class commercial pilot who proposed to me in a Brooklyn cemetery to fulfill his grandmother's bizarre dying wish.
But when an arrogant pilot tried to harass me at the airport, my "ordinary" husband suddenly appeared, his eyes like chips of ice.
"Take your hand off my wife."
With that single cold command, he had the airline's top executives groveling and the man practically fired on the spot.
Everyone called him "Mr. Chandler." He handed me an exclusive black Centurion card, claiming it was just a standard "manager's perk." His retired parents, who supposedly ran a small business, visited me wearing Patek Philippe watches. I ignored all the glaring red flags, foolishly believing I had just lucked into a stable, caring marriage after a lifetime of disappointments.
Yet, despite his constant, suffocating generosity, he kept a physical wall between us. After a kiss so desperate and hungry it felt like he had been starving for it his entire life, he violently pushed me away.
"We should take this slow."
I couldn't understand why a man who looked at me with such intense, possessive devotion would treat our marriage like a sterile business deal. Why was he orchestrating every perfect detail of my life while refusing to even share a bed with me?
I had no idea that the man sleeping in the guest room wasn't a pilot at all. He was Harmon Chandler, the ruthless billionaire emperor of the Chandler Group. And he had been secretly monitoring my every move for ten years.

After eight years in captivity, I was finally rescued. I thought it was the beginning of a new life with my mother.
But she didn't even look at me. She ran into the arms of a handsome stranger, her real husband, and I was treated like a dirty secret from her past.
They called me a contamination, a reminder of their trauma. My new stepsister set their Doberman on me, and as the dog's teeth sank into my arm, I looked up and saw my mother watching from the window.
She met my eyes for a second, then slowly closed the curtains.
In that moment, the last bit of hope I had died. The shallow bond of family was completely gone, and I finally gave up.
But they made one mistake. The family patriarch, suspicious after a car accident, ordered a secret DNA test.
The results came back on the day of my stepsister's birthday party, revealing a truth that would burn their perfect world to the ground.

I pulled the perfectly baked Beef Wellington from the oven, its rich scent filling our Manhattan penthouse. For five years, I’d crafted this perfect life, but tonight, I’d discover my entire existence was a cruel, silent lie. The man I loved had built it all on betrayal.
Preparing our anniversary dinner, I reflected on five years of building a flawless home for Blake, a dream I’d never known.
Searching for a pen, I found a hidden compartment in Blake’s desk containing a cheap black USB drive—a significant secret for a man who despised anything less than perfect.
His MacBook unlocked with his birthday, not ours. The USB, after a near-data-wipe, revealed "The Archives": hundreds of photos of Blake with his college girlfriend, Isabelle, passionate love letters, and a wardrobe chosen to mirror hers. My name yielded "0 results found," while millions were wired to Isabelle.
I was a meticulously funded stand-in, a ghost he dressed up to play house. My non-existence in his world and his financial betrayal ignited a cold, burning rage.
Blake returned, dismissive, offering a delayed anniversary gift. I confronted him; he ripped the USB, snapped it, and stated, "Nothing changes, as long as you know your place." My obedience shattered: "I want a divorce," I declared, then destroyed dinner and packed my own bag.
