Chapter 5

Daisy's pov I slowly unfurl my eyes to the bright light and I he throbbing pain from my head. My eyes glanced at my environment, trying to process where I was, but nothing was making any sense to me. As I remained calm for a few minutes, everything was slowly starting to make sense to me, every incident that took place before I blanked out. "Fuck!" I jerked to my feet. Realizing that I was still in the hands of the monster and had no clue what he intended to do with me. I rushed to the window. Trying to figure out a way to sneak out of here without being detected, but just then, the door swung open and the monster from my memory stepped in accompanied by a familiar figure. "Looks like you are awake, did you get a good sleep?" He had a smirk on his lip, like he had not abducted me and was obviously going to take my life. "Doctor Benjamin, were you also abducted?" I narrowed my eyes, and a confused expression swept through while I tried to make sense of the scene before me. But Doctor Benjamin didn't seem like someone who had been abducted. Instead, he looked so calm as he walked towards me. "Calm down Ms. Benneth, this man here isn't going to hurt you, I just need you to calm down and listen to everything that I am going to say. "Calm down? You are only saying that because you don't know what this man is, he is a monster" "I know and trust me, what you thought you saw, I have seen it a million times" "What?" I stood frozen at a spot, my gaze darting from Doctor Benjamin to the man. "First I am going to need you to sit down, then I will explain everything to you, I promise no one is going to hurt you" His tone was soft, this was the same man who had helped me for two years until I was finally able to get pregnant even though my husband was now worse than the monster in front of me. I slowly walked to the bed and sat down, but I was still cautious, if the man I was married to for two years could betray me like that, I had no clue what a man who could shift into an animal could do. "This is Mr Khai, but his title is an Alpha, he is Alpha Khai and he leads a very very powerful werewolf pack" He stressed the 'powerful' as he needed me to understand its true meaning. "A werewolf, as in the fictional werewolf?" I gave out a small laugh, my gaze trailed down to Khai who was seated at the side with a blank expression on his face. "Yes and trust me Ms. Benneth, they are both fiction, they exist and he you have seen with your own eyes" I bit my lower lip, no matter how much I wanted to deny that this wasn't happening, I had seen his transformation from a werewolf into a human, there was no other explanation for that. "Even though he is a werewolf, I still don't get why he showed up at the Benneth corporation and what he wants from me" This time, doctor Benjamin swallowed his spit like this was the hardest part. "You see, we were supposed to use your husband's sperm for the implant just like we discussed. But my nurse had made some foolish mistakes, exchanging the sperm with that of Alpha Khai here" "Exchange it with what?" I was already getting the hint of what he meant, but my heart was racing rapidly, and my brain could not comprehend what was going on even if I was fighting to. "Ms Benneth, you are carrying the Alpha child and not your husband!" He didn't bother to sugarcoat the response. I blinked twice just to be certain that I wasn't dreaming. I was carrying my child and the father was a werewolf" "How is that possible?" "I don't know miss. And to be sincere it's surprising that you are still carrying the fetus which should have been impossible but right now. You need to stay here so you can be monitored" He explained but I couldn't tell from which part I stopped listening, my brain couldn't process anything. I hated the fact that I was carrying Finn's child and I would have to wake up everyday realizing this child belongs to the man who betrayed me. But this, I couldn't even process it. None of it made any sense to me. "Ma. I will leave you to speak to the Alpha" The patted my shoulder, understanding that I was still staring blankly at space, he stepped out of there. NoIwaIaI wast with Khai who walked closer to me and sat down. "I know this is a lot for you to take, but trust me. I am as surprised as you are and have no clue how that can even happen. "Now that you are aware of everything, I am not going to beat around the bush. The thing is I am not sure if you can carry this baby to full term, but if you do, I will stand by you all through the process, help you get revenge for your husband and get a divorce from him." He stared into my eyes as he took a deep breath, bracing himself for the next words he was going to say. "But once the baby is born, I will take the baby away, pay you off and you can go to any country of your choice to start up your life" I felt a sharp pain at the words, he was going to take my child away from me. "I don't find it hard for you, but you can't take care of this baby on your own, the baby will carry alpha blood and it's nothing like you've ever seen before, not to mention, you were brutally hurt by your husband, you deserve revenge!" He was right about just one thing, I badly wanted to make Finn pay for all he did and even though I had no clue yet how I was going to do it, it was certain that I wouldn't stop until I made him feel every hint of pain he caused me.
