Wolf Bitch Took Papa,I Took Her Crown

Wolf Bitch Took Papa,I Took Her Crown

I recount the chaos after the Flower Club closed. Mama and I waited for Jameson, but he bought out Yvonne instead. When we learned Mama was Meredith, the Rutledge pack's lost daughter, we found refuge. At a feast, Jameson-with pregnant Yvonne-slapped me, threw us in a pond, and mocked Mama. But Yvonne's secret as an old regime princess unraveled, and Jameson's complicity led to his exile. Mama became a healer, freeing herself from his shadow. Though Jameson begged for forgiveness, his cruelty left scars. I found peace in the Rutledge pack, watching Mama thrive.

Chapter 2

The crowd was stunned, but I was the first to lunge forward, pounding my fists on Yvonne and Papa. "Why would you betray Mama and me? You're both the worst!" My hand accidentally grazed Yvonne's belly-not hard, but she yelped in pain. Without a second thought, Papa kicked me. I crashed into a wooden cabinet, my bones rattling from the impact. Mama scooped me up, her stubborn face streaked with tears. A moment later, she wiped her eyes and, with every ounce of strength, slapped Papa across the face. He was a general, but that slap nearly sent him sprawling. "Katherine!" Yvonne stepped between them, her voice pleading. "I'm four months along. Jameson's been supporting you all these years. Without him, you'd be just another she-wolf on display like the rest of us!" "Please, show some mercy and let us have this." "Jameson, you wanted my pup for her, to use as a cure?" Mama's voice trembled. Papa's face showed no guilt. "Yvonne's frail. This might be her only chance to carry a pup. We already have a daughter. You should be grateful." "So all this time, when Yvonne said she was staying at a suitor's private , that suitor was you?" Papa nodded. Mama swayed, and despite my own pain, I rushed to steady her, helping her stay upright. "What a clever plan," she said. "My pup and I waited eight years in this club, scorned by the pack for eight years." "So when you truly love someone, you hide them away." Mama's face grew calmer, and by the end, a faint smile curled her lips. Papa gently brushed a strand of hair from Yvonne's face. "Your flower dance captivated the sprawling pack of Joravia. How could I bind with a she-wolf of your status as my true mate?" "But Yvonne-she never fought or clawed for attention. I passed her off as a minor official's daughter. No one will dig into her past." "You've made your choice. Don't regret it," Mama said softly. Papa actually paused to think, then frowned. "If you give up the pup in your belly, I'll pay a hundred gold to buy you out as a lesser mate." "A hundred gold's nothing to sneeze at," the Laura chimed in. "For Clara's sake, just bear it." They always told Mama to endure for me, never realizing I didn't want to burden the she-wolf who loved me most. "Mama," I said, "I don't want him as my papa anymore. I just want you." A flicker of pain crossed Papa's eyes, but Yvonne's sharp gasp quickly stole his attention. "Jameson, this little troublemaker's kicking up a storm. When can we head home?" "Let's go now," he said with a cold huff. "I'm done with this stubborn she-wolf and her unruly pup." He strode off with Yvonne, pausing only to hiss at Laura to make sure Mama suffered in the labor den. Tears stung my eyes, but Mama stood calm, stroking my head. Laura had the fortune hauled away, then turned to find another fortune quietly piled in the back garden. "It's for me," Mama said, reaching out her hand. "Clara, let's go." At the gate, the same covered litter from that night waited steadily. An old wolf, looking like a steward, hurried over and lifted the carriage curtain for Mama and me. "Katherine, please hurry. Mr. and Mrs. Rutledge are waiting for you at the manor!"

Betrayed for a Mistress: The True Alpha Rises

For five years, my husband Damian fed me a bitter daily "tonic," claiming it was to help my fragile health. He told the entire pack I was a "withered wolf," too broken to shift and too barren to give him an heir. I believed him, until the new nanny walked in wearing my silk robe, smelling of my perfume and his sweat. Damian didn't even try to hide it. He demanded I sign a check to support his mistress's five children, sneering that since my womb was a "graveyard," I should pay for his legacy. He planned to humiliate me publicly at the Medical Summit, using me as a case study of failure to legitimize his illegitimate brood. But he made a fatal mistake. He thought I was too weak to check the books. My loyal Beta brought me the truth just hours before the speech. The tonic wasn't medicine; it was Wolfsbane, designed to suppress my Alpha wolf. And the infertility? It wasn't me. Medical records proved Damian had a vasectomy weeks before our wedding. He had been poisoning me and gaslighting me for half a decade to steal my fortune. I injected a dangerous stimulant to clear the fog and crashed his stage. I didn't just expose his sterility to the world; I stripped him of his rank and exiled him as a Rogue. As security dragged the screaming traitor away, a scent hit me—thunderstorms and raw, terrifying power. Alistair Finch, the most dangerous Alpha on the coast, rose from the VIP section. He walked straight to me, sparks flying as he touched my skin. "He is nothing," Alistair growled, pulling me into his arms. "And you are finally Mine."

For nine years, I was Kane Hill' s secret. I was his emotional punching bag, the convenient stand-in for my twin sister, Harper-the woman he truly loved. I endured his cruelty, convincing myself his control was a twisted form of love. Then, just before he announced their engagement, Harper sent me a recording. It was Kane, his voice smooth and dismissive. "Eden? She's useful," he told Harper. "An emotional pressure valve. I need to vent on someone so I can be the perfect man for you." The cold truth shattered me. I wasn't a person, not even a substitute. I was a tool. That night, he polished Harper's engagement ring right in front of me before ending our nine-year "game" with a single, bored phone call. He never knew that I was the girl who had saved him at a summer camp all those years ago, not Harper. He'd called my attempts to tell him the truth "pathetic." So I packed a single bag and vanished into the night, leaving his gilded cage for a quiet farm in Vermont. But just as I started to heal, he found me, clutching the proof of my story in his hand, begging for a second chance I had no intention of giving.
