Christopher's POV

I knew I would be unable to sleep this night because I feared that I might lose her as soon as my eyes were closed. I had claimed her, that was true but I still needed to mark her but I wanted to give her time. So I kept looking at her in wonder. Mating had never been this great for me, before.

I wondered what Christopher would say and do when he smelt me on Millicent in the morning. Well, the morning will take care of itself.

Millicent touched my cheek and I smiled, because I had wanted to do the same to assure myself that she was real and not a phantom.

I knew I had tired her but she seems unwilling like I was to fall asleep.

'Did you like it?' I asked, sure that she did but wanting to hear it from her.

'Was my response and scream of ecstasy not enough for you to know you did a great job?' she countered.

I may have hard alot of female in the past but I was satisfied with this one and I was happy that I was her first and if I have a say in it and I do or will make it my business to, I was also going to be her last.

I should allow her sleep but I was already getting excited again. I knew I could never have enough of her. Now that I've had her, I wasn't going to let her go. She was mine forever!

'Take it easy, please', she said. 'Forever is a long time!'

I looked at her shocked. She looked at me, uncomprehending.

'Did you just read my mind?' I asked.

'Did I?' she asked, puzzled. 'I thought you spoke out loud. Come to think of it, I did not see your lips moving. So, are you saying I have the gift of reading minds?'

'I know so', I said, smiling and hugging her. 'You are a great one, my Luna!'

'But I have never been able to do that before now', I protested.

'You might have come into it because we mated', I said. 'Mating, sometimes releases some unknown and hidden gifts, especially if you mate with your fated mate'.

'Oh!' she said simply.

I was happy my Luna had some great and uncommon gifts. I wanted to help her uncover more but right now, I wanted to get her insane with lust for me and plunge into her. I wanted to feel again the magic that we both make.

'I'd like that as well', she said.

I looked at her shocked, then remembered she was an avid mind reader.How could I forget so soon?

I nodded. There was no need for more words. We just went ahead to excite each other, tearing each other apart as our need for each other built up. With that marvellous thought in my heart, I surrendered myself to sleep.

I woke, stretching and when I felt myself naked, I recalled the magical night I had spent with my love, Millicent. The thought alone got me nodding in no time and I turned around to pull her into my arms but my hands fell on an empty space. I looked around the bed but Millicent was not in bed with me.

'Millicent dear', I called gently 'Come out now. I am ravenous for you!' I said, thinking she had gone into the restroom.

When there was no response, I smiled and got up from the bed, she probably wanted me to come get her and maybe we could shower together. That was a marvellous idea, mating under the shower in the bathtub. I smiled but it froze on my face when I found no Millicent in the restroom.

I felt that she must have gone back to her room. She must have felt shy asking up with me. But why would she be shy? We had shared everything with each other.

I was going to throw a shirt over my body and go to her room and carry her back into my room and my bed when I saw a piece of paper on the bedside table. I did not know what drew my attention to it but I walked towards it, an inexplicable fear gnawing my heart.

I picked the paper and what I read got my heart thumping. No, no! Not now! Why would Millicent do this to me?'
