The Rejected Healer: Her Rise as the White Wolf Novel Cover

The Rejected Healer: Her Rise as the White Wolf

I carried a thermal container of stew to my fiancé's private estate, worried he was stressed about our upcoming pack merger. Instead of a meditation retreat, I walked into a nightmare. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I saw Ivan playing on the rug with a secret son, while a woman named Kiera watched like a queen. I froze as I heard Ivan's voice float through the glass. "Aliana is just a placeholder. She smells like antiseptic and fear. Once I get the territory, I'll reject her." My heart shattered, but the knife twisted deeper when he laughed about my parents. "Her folks pay for this villa, Kiera. They know. They prefer a strong alliance over a disappointment of a daughter." My own parents were drugging me to steal my medical patents. They thought I was weak. They thought I was just a submissive Healer. I wiped my tears and unlocked his safe with the admin codes he forgot I installed. I took the financial records, the fake DNA tests, and the theft agreements. That night, at his secret son's birthday party, I didn't bring a gift. I brought a projector. I played their confession for the entire Council, severed the mate bond publicly, and vanished into the North. Six months later, a ruined, homeless Ivan crawled into my clinic, begging for the legendary White Wolf to save him. He looked up, shocked to see me standing there, glowing with silver power. "You rejected the gift of the Goddess," I smiled, letting my Alpha aura crush him to the floor. "Now, get out."

Chapter 3

Aliana POV:

I didn't need to see any more. I had the smoking gun, the motive, and the weapon.

I drove straight to the one place Ivan wouldn't look for me: a small, cluttered law office above a bakery in the beta district.

"Are you sure about this, Ali?"

Debi, my lawyer and best friend, looked at the documents spread across the coffee table. Her witch eyes were wide with shock.

"Look at the patent draft, Deb," I said, pointing to the clause I'd found in the safe. "They don't just want the land. They want my mind. My research."

Debi scanned the page, her expression darkening. "They are planning to trap you completely. Once you sign the marriage certificate, you become property. Your parents signed off on this?"

"My parents drafted it," I said, my voice dead.

Debi slammed her hand on the table. Sparks of purple magic flew from her fingertips. "That is illegal! It's a violation of the Accords! We can curse them. I can make Ivan's balls shrivel up and fall off."

"Tempting," I said dryly. "But no. I want to hurt them where it truly matters. Their status. Their money. Their pride."

I pushed the paper toward her. "Is it ready?"

"The Severance of Pack Ties," Debi read the title. "Once you sign this and file it with the Council, you are essentially a Rogue. You lose the protection of the Pack. Anyone can attack you."

"I've been attacked by my own Pack for twenty-four years," I said, picking up the pen. "I'll take my chances with the wild."

I signed my name. Aliana Donovan. The ink looked black and final.

"File it the moment the clock strikes ten tonight," I instructed. "That's when the party starts."

"Where will you go?"

"North," I said. "To the Blood Moon territory. They value Healers more than lineage."

I stood up and hugged her. "Thank you, Debi."

"Give them hell, Alpha," she whispered.

"I'm not an Alpha," I corrected her.

"You will be," she smiled mysteriously.

Five Years Of Lies: The Wife's Awakening Novel Cover

To an orphan like me, the Donovans’ approval was oxygen. I thought I was living a fairy tale as Ivan’s fiancée, finally finding a place to land. That illusion shattered the night I overheard my future father-in-law whisper behind a study door. "We can't keep paying Kayla forever. If this comes out, it ruins the merger." The name hung in the air like toxic smoke. Driven by a sickening gut feeling, I dug deeper. I found a tuition bill for a prestigious kindergarten for a boy named Leo—paid for by the Donovans. I disguised myself as a pest control worker and infiltrated the address on the bill. Inside the playroom of a massive mansion, I found the smoking gun. It wasn’t a receipt. It was a commissioned oil painting. It depicted my fiancé, Ivan, smiling with his arm around a beautiful woman, a young boy standing between them. The plaque read: *Our Happy Family - 2023.* They weren't just cheating; they were living a parallel life. They thought I was just the naive, grateful scholarship student who would never look too closely. They were wrong. At our lavish fifth-anniversary party, in front of five hundred of Manhattan's elite, Ivan waited for my loving toast. Instead, I signaled the AV booth. The giant screen behind us flickered to life. But it didn't show our wedding photos. It showed the painting. And then, I played the recordings.
