Chapter 1

I’m just a farmer’s wife, yet I’ve been suffering from an unbearable addiction. The frequent flare-ups have thrown our entire autumn harvest into chaos.

With no other choice, I followed my husband, Tom Reed, to seek help from the new young town doctor, Dr. Cole Carter, but his method of treatment completely broke me…

On the way to the doctor's appointment with Tom, Tom Reed, my urges returned. It felt like countless snakes were crawling into my vagina, and the throbbing was unbearable.

My vision blurred as I squeezed my legs together, my gaze pleading with Tom for assistance.

He cursed me under his breath, "Shameless wench."

Tears fell one after another. Tom was initially happy about this condition, but after a while, he couldn't bear it anymore.

He broke off a thick corn cob and handed it to me, "Go and relieve yourself."

I slipped into the cornfield, quickly stripped off my pants, and prepared to begin.

Suddenly, someone hugged me from behind. Thinking it was Tom, I turned around, panting heavily, and opened my eyes to find it wasn't him. I reached out to push him away and try to run, but his grip was like a vice. I screamed for help, but there was no response.

How could he not hear me in such a deserted cornfield? I suddenly remembered that a few days ago, he had said that he wanted to find me a man.

Tom probably let this man locate me on purpose. The corn was still stuffed in me, and the intense ascension to reach my peak had left me limp. Soon, I lost the energy even to say a word.

The man took advantage of the situation and knocked me down, lifting my legs over his shoulders. Terror overwhelmed me, and I struggled against him with all my might.

Just as he was about to unzip his pants, I picked up some nearby corn leaves and smeared them on his face.

He wasn't paying attention, and the corn leaves landed right in his eyes. The sharp corn leaves pricked his sight, and he slapped me hard while cursing me.

Perhaps sensing something was amiss, Tom hurried in.

"Your wife is trash! She almost blinded me! Find someone else!" the man snapped, tossing fifty dollars on the ground and leaving angrily.

Tom helped me up and asked if I was okay. My heart ached, and tears began to fall again. "How dare you ask? Isn't it your fault?"

"What kind of husband are you? Not only do you let others have sex with your wife, but you're also paying for it. You're a complete jerk!" I glared at him, fueled by anger.

Unfortunately, he didn't think he was being harsh. He even scolded me, "It's because you have this nasty condition. You're constantly like a dog in heat, and you want me to bed you 24/7. Winter's almost here. Are you even going to harvest the crops?

"The crops are all frozen to nothing in the rotten fields. We've worked all year for nothing and now we're going to have to starve!"

With that, he turned and stormed off.

Wiping my tears, I stood up and hurried to follow him. I knew it was my fault. He was very tolerant of me by not looking down on me.

I prayed inwardly that the town doctor would cure me. Otherwise, I feared that if the doctor failed, Tom might do what the old women whispered about—the kind of cure that involved a needle and no mercy.

Soon, I met the college-educated doctor, Dr. Cole Carter. To my surprise, he was a man. Even though I was a middle-aged woman, how could I let a male doctor examine such a private matter? I was about to leave, but Tom grabbed my hand.

"If you don't get treated, how are you going to harvest the crops?"

Thinking about how this condition had severely impacted our lives these days, I had no choice but to stay.

Finally overcoming my shock about the doctor being male, I finally took a quick look at Dr. Carter. He was handsome, with a strong build. His well-developed muscles framed his white coat impressively. It was the gold-rimmed glasses perched on his nose that made him look a bit stoic.

I was so engrossed in watching him that I didn't hear what Tom and he were saying until Tom said, "Dr. Carter, I'm leaving now. I'll leave Leah in your care."

Huh? Tom wasn't coming with me? Furthermore, his last sentence seemed rather suggestive.

After Tom left, Dr. Carter asked me what was ailing me. Although it was difficult to bring myself to speak, I still revealed the truth.

He wasn't surprised at all. When I asked if he had any medication, he said he needed to check me first.

I asked nervously, "How do I get examined? Should I lie down there?" I pointed to the bed next to me.

"No, let me take a look first," he said, kneeling down and starting to pull off my pants.

Frightened, I instinctively grabbed his hand. "What are you doing?"

"How can I examine you without taking off your pants?" he frowned.

My face flushed immediately. This guy was too aggressive.

"Then… then I'll do it myself." With that, I swallowed my shame and unbuttoned my pants.

Although I had been doing farm work for years, I had naturally fair skin that wouldn't tan. I didn't have any fine lines, and my skin was still supple. My son-in-law even mistook me for my daughter once and almost took me.

I could clearly hear Dr. Carter swallowing.

I was startled. Did Dr. Carter find me attractive? I could practically be his mother.

Then, he suddenly lifted one of my legs and leaned under it to examine me closely. His lush hair grazed my skin, and I instantly felt every nerve ending heighten. With a crash, I lost every semblance of control.
