Chapter 1

In the biggest bar of Gryndon, my younger sister, Evonne Bradford, is tossed onto the middle of the stage like a plaything.

The men beneath the stage keep arguing with each other.

At the moment, Evonne's complexion is as pale as a sheet. She can only stare at her fiance, Simon Scottman, in disbelief, who's sitting in the middle of the bar.

"Simon, I'm your fiancee! How could you treat me like this?"

Simon leans over to kiss the dainty-looking woman in his arms on the lips. Then, he shoots Evonne a cold look.

"You don't even know who took your virginity, yet you still have the guts to question me?"

The woman in Simon's arms just titters delicately, but the contempt in her eyes is plain to see when she looks at Evonne.

Meanwhile, I sit in my booth, my gaze already icy.

All it takes is three years of my absence in this country, and already someone dares to harm a member of the Bradford family.

Beside me, my assistant, Gillian Somner, wiped the cold sweat from her forehead.

With utmost deference, she said, "I'll call the owner of Nocturne right away and have him answer for this."

I let out a cold chuckle. "No need. Get our men to surround Nocturne. Make sure not a single soul can leave this place."

Upon receiving my order, Gillian nodded in acknowledgment before stepping away.

How dare they lay a hand on my sister, Evonne Bradford! I'd make sure none of them were walking out of here alive.

Evonne's face was streaked with tears. "It was only you and me celebrating Valentine's Day last night. How could there be another man in the room?"

Rachel Lopez snuggled closer into Simon Scottman's arms, covering her mouth as she laughed. "You're really funny, Rachel. Simon was with me the entire night, so how could he possibly be with you?

"It seems like you needed a little more excitement for your first time. Simon isn't enough for you, so you invited a whole group to play with you?"

Evonne froze, murmuring under her breath, "That's impossible. Simon was the one who personally handed me the room card. We even went for a candlelight dinner last night—"

Halfway through her sentence, she snapped her head up and glared at Simon. Her entire body shook with rage as she said, "It was you! You drugged my drink, and you called them over—"

He merely raised his brows, looking unfazed.

Just then, a short video appeared on the huge screen. It showed Evonne lying on a bed, barely covered.

Simon chuckled coldly before pulling out a USB drive from his pocket. He tossed it onto the table and said, "Come on, place your bets! Whoever guessed the real culprit who popped Evonne's cherry last night would be given the full video from last night!"

The eyes of every man in the bar were immediately glued to the screen, greedily taking in the video with unabashed desire.

"Even just this short clip is hot enough. I can't imagine how wild the full thing must be!"

"As expected of a well-bred young lady, even the way she moans sounds better than other women!"

My body shook with rage as I stared at the video on the huge screen.

The Scottmans weren't worth even a fraction of the Bradfords when Simon had first gotten engaged to Evonne. My parents would never have agreed to the match if Evonne hadn't insisted.

How dare he treat her like this now?

With a darkened expression, I texted Gillian and told her to investigate everything.

At the same time, the men in the bar began slamming stacks of bills onto the tables, shouting wildly as they placed their bets.

Evonne was curled up at the corner, her eyes empty as she watched it all unfold before her.

"Is everyone done betting?" Simon lounged back against the couch, yawning lazily.

"The bets are in. But how are we supposed to tell who actually took Ms. Bradford's virginity last night?"

Simon smiled. "It hasn't even been a full day since last night. Surely there are traces left in her body. We'll just have a doctor examine her to find out."

With that, he clapped his hands. "Bring them in!"

Several doctors stepped onto the stage. They immediately grabbed Evonne, pinning her down as they reached to pull off her pants.

The men in the bar craned their necks forward, eagerly waiting for the obscene spectacle to begin.

Terrified, Evonne snatched a pair of tweezers from one of them and pointed them at them. She screamed, "Stay away! Do you know who I am? Touch me, and you'll be dead!"

She looked serious, yet to everyone else, it was just a desperate struggle on her end.

Rachel's laughter brought forward everyone else's. "Oh? Do you still think you're the high-and-mighty heiress of the Bradford family?"

She stepped closer and grabbed Evonne's face, her long nails digging into Evonne's skin, drawing out faint traces of blood. "The Bradfords are long past their prime! Besides, this bar belongs to my stepbrother Dominic! Here, you're nothing!"

Was Rachel talking about Dominic Clarke?

He was my father's subordinate. If this bar really belonged to him, would he just stand by and let someone humiliate Evonne like this?

And when exactly have the Bradfords gone past their prime?

Simon wrapped an arm around Rachel's waist and softly coaxed, "Why bother arguing with her? What's more important now is to find out who slept with her first last night."

He then glared at the doctors. "What are you guys still waiting for?"

The doctors pressed Evonne onto the stage again and began yanking down her pants.

Just as they were about to go further, the manager suddenly shouted in a panic. "Wait!"
