It's a nice weekday morning.Alina was getting ready to go out. She wears a full-length floral printed gown which has a full sleeve. She left her hair open and ready to go out. Lastly, she looked at herself in the mirror. She sighs seeing her own reflection. Well, she wasn't looking bad, however, if anyone took a closer look at her, her dark circles and bugs around the eyes with her sunken eyes would be visible. Her eyes were almost numb due to her continuous crying for two days. In the daytime, she used to mask her broken state with the smile of a good daughter-in-law. But when it's become night, she can't help but cry thinking about whatever she had done two nights ago. She can't accept the fact that she has her first time with a man who doesn't even know her identity. He thought of her as an escort. Can it be more cruel than that? But when these thoughts ruled over her mind, change calmed her mind saying, he hadn't forced her for anything. He didn't do anything that caused her any trauma. He was far more gentle than she had imagined. She cannot lie to herself saying she didn't like it. Somewhere her hormones liked the spark he had given her. But it won't change the fact, this was something her husband ordered her to do. This wasn't her decision in the first place. She still can't understand why he took such a risky step to use her as bait for his deal. Why does it have to be her? Somewhere she understood, he had a bigger reason to get her to do this. Something that he was hiding from her. Well, it's not important anymore. Everything has already happened. She did what he asked for. Even though she has messed up. He has to accept the fact, she has gone through such a humiliation because of him. And her cruel husband has once again arranged her one night stand with the correct person in two days. He hasn't done anything after getting back home. Somewhere he might have realized the fact, she was the only option for him to get that deal anyway. "Yes, Mr. Smith. There won't be any conflicts this time. I can assure you that. Just waiting for you to fix a date." Lucas entered the room while taking in the phone with a sugar coating tone. He was almost bending down while talking. Alina felt a huge amount of weight on her heart when she was hearing all this. She was completely devastated inside as she couldn't bear to see her own husband was doing these sins again and again. As soon as he cuts the call, his face turned to the usual hard one, he give her a harsh look before looking through the closet. "he had given me another chance. And I didn't tell him the truth, of you went to another room inside of his that night. So make sure to not let him know that till the end." He was telling her everything with a rude tone while searching for something in the closet. Soon he found an black file and decided to leave, but Alina's voice stopped him. "How is Cassandra? Is she okay?" She asked him with deep concern. This questions her eating her head all two days. She can't seem to wait to hear his reply. She was pressing her knuckles tightly to hear the news about the person who means the world to her. "Yeah she is doing fine. I have already asked the doctors to schedule the date." Lucas replied casually, looking at her with a hint of arrogance. He replied like it was nothing to be talked about. But on the other side, Alina's eyes welled up hearing the news she was eagerly waiting for. She can't seem to suppress the happiness she is feeling at this moment. Overwhelmed with happiness, she held his hands to thank you. "Thank you. Thank you so much... you don't know how much this means to me. Thank you so much, Lucas.. I will never forget your generous act." She thanked him wholeheartedly, forgetting about the fact that he had done this generous act in the first place. But after marriage, they have strictly prohibited her from working as it's disrespectful to their family. Her crucial situation has made her ask for help from her husband. And this cunning fox has taken that as the key to get her to do whatever he says. Since she was about to do what he told her. He agreed to pay for her sister's surgery. "I have already paid the bill. But I can be more generous if the plan comes back positive this time. I hope you will do a good job this time." Her smile thinned upon hearing his thoughts. She slowly left his hands and looked at him with a sad face. "This help was a huge one, Lucas, I will never be able to pay the money, this is the only way for me to get this done, so you can trust me." She told him with a low tone. Actually, she wants to shout out louder and bang his head hard on the wall. But her vulnerable situation demanded her to be polite. She can't be true to herself. "Yeah, whatever! Make sure you are safe around. I have already told my mother that we might go out in a few days. So it won't be an issue. I don't want any obligations that day, understand?" He told her strictly while looking at her with a cold face. He was talking to her like she was some contracted slave. Whose job was to obey his orders.
