The Mistaken Night With The Billionaire
"Did he touch you?" Aaron asked, his deep, growling tone making her shiver.
"It doesn't matter. You can't question-"
"Did. He. Fucking. Touched. You?" He asked, his voice more dangerous now, making her feel the full impact of his rising anger.
"He is my husband. How can I stop him?" she asked hesitantly, knowing she was inviting the devil himself to spill blood.
In a flash, he pulled her by the waist and pinned her against the wall with force. She gasped, startled by his sudden movement. Her wide eyes met his fiery, unforgiving gaze.
"Listen to me very carefully, mia cara," he said, his voice a lethal whisper. "The day I tasted every inch of you, you became mine and only mine alone. You were never anyone's wife or daughter-in-law. If you were connected to anyone, it was only me. So watch your words next time, because a single slip of your tongue might cost someone their life. Am I clear?"
Before she could respond, he crushed his lips against hers in a wild, punishing kiss.

Chapter 6
In the heart of an opulent mansion, he found himself in a room that exuded luxury at every corner. The walls were adorned with intricate tapestries, and the floors were covered in plush, velvety carpets. A grand chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a soft, golden light across the room. Despite the room's undeniable beauty and comfort, it had become a gilded cage for him.
For five days, he had been confined within these lavish walls, his mind consumed by a single, relentless thought, finding her. The urgency gnawed at him, growing stronger with each passing hour, but despite the room's comfort, his heart felt heavy, and his patience thin. He knew he couldn't stay here forever. He had to find her, no matter what it took.
His urgency stemmed from a chilling realization that had shattered the illusion he had been living in. For days, he had believed she was the girl sent by the agent, the one he had been waiting for. But then, piece by piece, the truth unraveled.
she wasn't who he thought she was. The girl who had seemed so perfect, so carefully chosen, was in fact, a stranger who had skillfully concealed her true identity. The more he thought about it, the more unsettling it became. Her deception gnawed at him,
fueling his need to find her and uncover the truth.
He couldn't afford to let her slip away now, not when she had played him so masterfully. The urgency in his heart was no longer just about finding her, it was about exposing the mystery she had hidden so well.
"Who is she? Why did she come to him? And how the hell did she come there? Who sent her? Is she sent by a rival? Or has she come for something more?"
Millions of questions have been running inside him from the moment he got to know her unknown identity. He can't seem to rest well because of her unstoppable thoughts. He can't seem to forget how he lost himself in her. The way he reacted for the first time.. he still remembers every single second he spent with her. Her fragrance, her aura, her intoxicating beauty. Everything has been sealed in his mind with a strong nail. He can't seem to get his mind out of her thoughts...
"Any progress?"
He asked his PA on the phone. All his best men were searching for her around the entire city from the moment she left the hotel. Unfortunately, he can't seem to get a positive response yet.
"Not yet boss, but don't worry, we were doing our best. Soon we will give you a positive response."
Ethan, his PA and personal Bodyguard told him from the other side. Aaron closed his eyes out of frustration hearing his words. This is what he has been hearing for five long days. Now it's getting too much....
"I need that positive response sooner, Ethan. I can't wait anymore."
He told him with a deep down raspy tone. He wanted to make sure, he wasn't doing this to just pass the time. It's way more serious than they can think.
Then he threw the phone to the couch feeling frustrated. The anger was fully evident on his face.
Or what, technically he was supposed to be in the Emirates at this time. His original plan was to fly from this country and spend a few of his years in the Emirates. Even after he had just returned to his home after five long years. But his whole plan crashed with the new problem on his mind.
With every passing second, his thoughts were consumed by her. The luxurious surroundings faded into the background as his mind fixated on the memory of her.
An intense urge pulsed through him, an unyielding desire to have her in his grasp once more. The need to reclaim what he had lost, to feel her presence close to him again, grew stronger with every breath.
He could almost feel the weight of her slipping away, and it drove him to the brink. He knew he wouldn't rest until she was back in his clutch, where she belonged.
Yes..
He knows he wants something deep from her. He acknowledged the fact, she wasn't the regular girl he used to pass around. She wasn't just a passing cloud. Her arrival in his life that night showed him a different direction in life which he didn't know even existed.
And now her absence feels like she left taking a huge part of his body. soul. her absence is making him mad. Her loss of presence makes him feel like he has lost his entire life.
and he wants to know what was happening in the first place. he wants to know why he is giving her this much importance. He wants to know why her absence makes him restless. he can't work peacefully without knowing all that.. and if he wants to get his normal life back. he definitely has to find her as soon as possible.
•••
He was drinking a glass of whisky when thinking about all this. The burning sensation of the drink gave him a calmness for a short time. when he was lost in his thoughts, suddenly he heard the calling bell of the door ringing.
"May I come in, Big B?"
He sighs hearing a familiar voice. He unlocked the door with a knowing face.
Soon a girl in her early twenties took him for a big hug. She was a young and beautiful woman with a touch of elegance. She was looking at Aaron with a big smile. Soon she broke the hug.
"What are you doing here, Emma?"
Aaron asked her with a straight face. He didn't show any reaction to her arrival. She pouted sadly hearing his question.
"Big B, really? This is how you would welcome your sister you are meeting after years? So bad."
She told him in a complaining way. Aaron sighs seeing her usual dramatic attitude. Emma was back home after graduating from her high school in London. She lived her entire high school there with their grandparents who were residents there. She only visits here for vacations. and how she is finally back in her home country to complete her studies.
"Don't be dramatic. Didn't we meet a few weeks ago when I came to visit grandpa?"
He told her with bored eyes while letting her come inside. She made a grumpy face at his reply. Then she settled herself on the couch and took a look around her brother's house with impressed eyes. it might be the upstairs portion of their mansion. But it was an entire setup of a big bungalow. He has completely separated and made it a highly residential plot with a great architect. It looks more lavish than downstairs. and this is her favorite place of the entire Mansion.
"Reason for your visit?"
Aaron asked her with a stern face while taking a seat on the couch. He looked at her sternly and waited for her to answer. Emma sighs seeing his usual grumpy attitude.
"Well, papa is planning to throw a small party for my arrival tonight. It's a private party with our close friends," she tried to sound polite.
"And it would be great if you join the party with us. it's been ages since you attended any of our family gatherings."
She told him respectively, trying her best to sound polite. She really wants him to join their gathering. At the same time, she knew how stubborn he was.
He sighs hearing her. He looked at her with a bored face. His face shows how much he dislikes her invitation.
"Emma, you very well know I don't like these stupid things. It's a waste of time for me. Don't include me in these things."
He told her straightly, getting up from the couch. Already he was in a bad mood. And having a party with his dysfunctional family was the last thing he wanted to do.
He simply doesn't like the idea of witnessing his parents showing off their wealth unnecessarily, and answering their unrelated questions for the whole night. He has better things to do than that.
Emma quickly got up from the seat and held his hands with a pleading face. her face saddened by hearing his reply...
"Big B, please. Don't say no... I really want you to join this party. It's been so long since we all had a meal together. You are back after whole five years, yet you didn't even came downstairs this entire time from your return, you didn't even greet anyone yet."
She sounds so longing. Her eyes reflected her inner emotions.
"Even Mama and Papa miss you so much. Please don't do this. Please say yes for this one. I promise, I will make sure, mama and Papa keep their mouths shut until the party ends. please B. please say yes. please for me."
She literally pleads to him, hitting her legs on the ground. She really wants him to say yes. even though she has another brother. She always adored and loved Aaron more than Lucas. Most of the time he behaved strictly and coldly.
But she knows her big brother has a softer side which no one has seen that much. she was aware that he used to get updates on her life and made sure she never went through any difficulties. But the sad point is it. He never expresses all of it openly.
He stared at her pleading with a stern face. He simply doesn't like the idea of the family gathering. But he can't seem to say no anymore seeing her almost on the edge of crying. He doesn't want to make her cry after coming here after a long time.
"Okay," He said after a long pause. her face soon started to brighten out of happiness. She started to jump out of the joy. but his next word stopped her cheering.
"I'll Try... I'll try to come. don't be sure about it."
She pouted at his unsure reply. He gives her a 'don't expect more' look. She sighs seeing his stubborn nature.
"Okay then, at least you are ready to try. then I'm sure you will come."
She replied to him with a hint of a smirk. She knows he will come. He won't step back after her pleading. She knows her brother well.
"Okay then. See you tonight at the party. bye big B."
She soon left the floor after hugging him. He shook his head unbelievably at her attitude. She is the only one who has the audacity to behave like this with him. and he can't do anything about it, as she is his baby sister. He has an unsaid bond with her, which he never had with his younger brother. He was elder to both of them. But he has a bond with Emma then Lucas. It's quite a natural one.
Then he sat on the couch thinking about her invitation. He stopped joining his family gathering since he took over their business. He never liked to mingle with his family because of their unbelievably crazy mindset. He just didn't like the way they treated the people around them. the way they thought they were superior to everyone always irritated him.
And it got more extreme when he came to know they were thinking of taking a bride for his brother from their employees. They searched for a girl from a poor background because they didn't want to be intimidated or dominated by a rich girl.
if it was a poor girl, she would be submissive and would bear their tantrum without any questions. That's the reason why he never attended his brother's wedding. because he knows it's not a wedding.. but hiring a new servant for the house in the name of wedding.
And that's why he even limits the way he talks with his brother, he knows how his brother plays a huge role in satisfying their parents' commands. He was their mother's favorite boy and father's favorite son.
he didn't want to be a part of their craziness. That's why he was slowly cutting himself off from them, staying out of the house as much as he could. But now it's about his sister.. he can't keep her away because of them...
Since his stay here has been numbered. He thought of fulfilling his sister's request. After getting to know the identity of his mystery visitor.. he was planning to leave the country. or maybe planning to leave with her. it's just a talk of the coming of days...
Thinking about it he went to look for an outfit to wear tonight. without knowing what actually was waiting for him tonight.

Averie spent hours preparing a perfect third-anniversary dinner for her billionaire husband, Jarett Sharp.
Instead of celebrating, she received an anonymous photo of him intimately holding another woman.
When Jarett finally arrived, he didn't even look guilty.
"Candida. It's okay. Don't be scared. I'm on my way."
He simply took a call from his mistress, shoved Averie aside, and walked right back out the door.
That same night, Averie's father suffered a massive heart attack.
The hospital demanded a half-million-dollar deposit before they would operate.
But when Averie frantically tried to use the emergency medical trust card Jarett had given her, it was declined.
Jarett had deliberately frozen her access to the funds just hours earlier.
While she begged his assistant on the phone, Jarett refused to be disturbed, busy wrapping his expensive coat around his mistress in the hospital garden.
Averie collapsed in the hallway, realizing the man she loved was deliberately letting her father die.
In the end, a childhood friend stepped in to pay the bill and save her father's life, while her billionaire husband later pinned her to their bed, throwing a check at her and reminding her he had bought her for three million dollars.
Averie didn't shed a single tear.
She slowly ripped his check into pieces, left her massive diamond ring on the dresser, and walked out into the cold New York night with nothing but her old suitcase.
She pulled out her phone and dialed her old ballet professor.
She wasn't just going to leave Jarett Sharp. She was going to destroy him.

At my million-dollar wedding to the Hoffman heir, the priest was interrupted by a ringing phone.
My groom, Elijah, didn't silence it. He answered it right at the altar, yanked his arm from my grasp, and walked out because his "true love" Jalyn needed him.
I was left standing alone in front of three hundred elite guests, blinded by mocking camera flashes. My own mother rolled her eyes in disgust, later threatening to freeze my trust fund and sell me to a notorious playboy to recoup her losses. Elijah even had the nerve to call me, demanding I take the blame for the canceled wedding to save his PR, while live news feeds showed him cradling a fragile Jalyn in the hospital.
I had spent two years bending over backward to be his perfect bride, only to be discarded like trash. What made it sicker was finding out that Jalyn's sudden "medical emergency" was actually a ruptured cyst caused by having vigorous sex with Elijah right before he walked down the aisle.
I refused to let them destroy me.
Kicking off my six-inch heels, I stepped down from the altar and walked straight to the back row where Cristian Lowe sat. He was the ruthless iceberg of Wall Street and Elijah's most terrifying rival.
I looked up at his sharp jawline and asked the craziest question of my life.
"Will you marry me?"
He stood up, his dark eyes locking onto mine.
"As you wish."

[Excerpt]
"Oh?" Matteo asked, and Amelia caught a hint of amusement in his voice. "Then pray tell, what did we converse about?"
Amelia swallowed. Good heavens, he was so close. She could barely even breathe, afraid that every movement she made would just amplify how loud her heartbeat was. It was racing like a bullet train at this point, and she felt it clog at her throat, refusing her a chance to speak.
"I... I...I―"
"I have no girlfriend, Amelia," Matteo said. "And before you overthink, I do not have a wife in secret either."
His fingers didn't let go of her wrist, and instead, it even tightened its grip. It wasn't painful in the slightest, but it sent surges of electricity rushing through her body as though she had been struck by lightning in the most thrilling of ways.
A coy smile curved his lips, and he leaned in just the slightest. His lips were now a hair's breadth away from hers, and Amelia instinctively held her breath.
"Unless, perhaps you would like to volunteer?"

Alaia Dudley spent her life playing the devoted partner, completely unaware that her fiancé Austen was sleeping with another woman.
She thought the worst he could do was break her heart, until she found herself pinned to a cold operating table.
Austen held her down with a cruel smirk while a scalpel sliced through her sternum.
They cracked her chest open while she was still fully conscious.
The agonizing pain of her heart being cut out burned into her nerve endings.
She realized then that to him, she was never a lover—just a spare organ, a boring piece of wood to be discarded the second his true love needed it.
She died in excruciating agony, choking on her own blood while the man she loved walked away with her heart.
Until her last breath, she didn't understand why she had to suffer so brutally.
Why did she waste her life begging for a monster's attention? Why did they get a happy ending while she was carved up like an animal?
But then, ice-cold water flooded her lungs, and Alaia violently broke the surface of her bathwater.
Her trembling fingers touched her smooth, flawless chest. No scars. Her heart was still beating.
The date on her phone glared back at her: it was exactly five years ago.
Tonight was the exact night Austen first took his mistress to a hotel room.
This time, she wouldn't just expose them. She would use Wall Street's most terrifying tyrant as her personal weapon to strip them of everything they had.

I sat in the emergency room corridor, pressing a soaked bandage against my heavily bleeding arm. I had texted my husband of three years, billionaire Efford Thornton, begging him to come.
He did come, but he walked right past me as if I were a piece of furniture. When the doctor finally brought the last bag of O-negative blood in the city to save my life, Efford's assistant intercepted it.
Efford coldly ordered the blood to be sent to the VIP wing for Aletha Chase.
"Mrs. Chase is pregnant with the Thornton heir," he declared flatly. "The priority is non-negotiable."
As I watched my life-saving blood being carried away, he handed me a divorce agreement and an NDA. If I dared to expose his affair, he would immediately cut off the funding for my grandmother's dementia care, leaving her to rot in a public ward. He then turned his back, leaving me to bleed out in the hallway.
For three years, I had given up my career and my identity to be his perfect, compliant wife. I couldn't understand how the man who once looked at me like I was his whole world could now literally watch me die just to protect his mistress.
But he forgot one thing. The submissive wife he married was just a ghost. I wiped the blood from my hands, dug out the leather half-mask I had hidden away years ago, and made a call.
It was time for the legendary runway model "Phoenix" to rise from the ashes and burn his empire to the ground.

Six years ago, Seraphina's billionaire husband slapped a fake infertility report onto the marble table.
"Sign the divorce papers and get out," Julian commanded, looking at his wife of three years with pure, icy disgust.
Kicked out into the freezing rain while heavily pregnant, her own family abandoned her like garbage thanks to her sister's vicious lies.
She nearly died in a sterile operating room that night, giving birth to quadruplets, only for the grim-faced doctor to tell her two babies didn't survive.
She spent six agonizing years rebuilding her shattered identity in London, raising her surviving genius twins.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband paraded around New York with Livia, the very woman who orchestrated her ruin.
But when a medical emergency forced Seraphina back to the city, her twins accidentally crossed paths with two identical children at JFK airport.
Why did Julian's severely traumatized, mute daughter look exactly like her own little girl?
And why did her genius son just hack into his father's private server, only to find her delivery records locked behind military-grade encryption?
Staring at a faded ultrasound printout of four tiny shapes, a cold smile broke across Seraphina's face.
Tomorrow night, the discarded wife they thought they broke was going to crash the Astor-Vance charity gala, and she was going to burn their empire to the ground.
