Chapter 4

ITALY••••

   LUCIAN'S POV

"How's the business in the casino going?" I asked going through the files on my desk, due to the present situation in the familia I had to call for an emergency meeting to put certain things in place.

"Boss...Boss"

"You are stuttering Rafael". I pointed out coldly meeting the gaze of my men that sat around the conference table.

"There was a shoot out at one of the casinos and someone important got shot". My second in command Rafael replied.

"What happened to your men, I don't want any shootouts happening on my tuff, they don't get paid to be lazy" I said angrily.

My name is Lucian Marcello Genovese, 25 years old.

Being born into the mafia family comes with a lot of responsibilities, and this is just one of them, my father was murdered because of the business and now I have to take over, thinking about taking over, my mind couldn't help but wondered off to the fierce little lady.

"I'll take care of it boss" Rafael said with a bow,

"I'll be getting married in a month in order to take over, I need everything in place before then"

"Yes boss" the men choruesd.

"Meeting adjourned, the rest can leave, Rafael stay". I pointed at my right-hand man.

Everyone left leaving Rafael and I in the conference room.

"You finally brought her back" He said with a smile.

A flit of emotions quickly flashed by and disappeared immediately.

"Yes, after so many years" I said looking down at the files before me.

"What about my uncle" I asked coldly.

"He has been behaving well for a while now" he said

"That man is as cunning as a fox, keep a close eye on him" my lips curled into a smirk.

"Okay boss". He nodded.

"You may leave"

He stood up and walked towards the door but paused with his hands on the doorknob.

"What about Tilda boss, I believe she'll soon receive the news of her arrival" Rafael said his voice full of concern.

"Tilda is just an associate nothing special" I said looking away.

Rafael looked at me one more time before walking away I guess he had more to say.

 GENOVESE ESTATE

A middle age man could be seen smoking widely staring lustfully at the luxurious pool, just then a beautiful slim curvy lady emerged from the water, walking carefully each step she took elegant and classy.

"Uncle!" She said smiling gracefully as she exchanged cheek kisses with the man.

"Matilda" he said kissing her beautiful manicure hands.

"What brings you to this part of the estate, uncle" she said sitting next to him with a towel now wrapped around her body.

"I miss you, isn't that enough reason to pay you a visit?" he said with a sly smile.

"Oh please Antonio Genovese, we both know that's a lie". She winked at him.

He could feel a rush of excitement, he knew this beautiful lady before him was as deadly as she looked, Matilda Rizzo, daughter of the most trusted man of his late brother, she has been involved in the family business since she was young and never failed a mission.

"I've got both good news and bad news for you, so which one do you want to hear first". Antonio said raising his wine glass at her.

"What game are you playing, Antonio, let's hear the good news first, if we start with the bad news, I might not have the appetite for the good news". She said raising her wine glass at him too.

"Good news it is. Luciano is back" Antonio said with a wide grin.

"He's back?". She said excitedly.

"Why didn't he call me" She said with a cute frown.

"Maybe he's busy, you know Lucian is a busy man" Antonio said with a knowing smile.

"I don't like that smile, what's the bad news" she asked feeling uneasy.

" I'm not done with the good news yet bambina" he said grinning.

"He found the girl, he has been looking for"

"What?" She shouted in dismay.

"How, is that even a good news?, I thought she was dead, why now that I have almost grasped his heart, why?" she shaked her head in disbelief.

"What's the bad news" she asked coldly, her previous excitement gone.

"He's getting married to the girl in order to take over as Don"

"Why her, she doesn't deserve to be the Donna" she stood up to leave but stopped.

"What's your gain in all this uncle, we both know you want to be the Don"

"Guess" He said laughing widely.

"Shit!" she cursed walking way

'she should have stayed dead'

    BLUEY'S POV

"Let me show you around, Donna" Enrico offered.

"Bluey, the name is Bluey" I said with a slight frown.

"Okay". He raised his hands in defeat.

I followed behind listening to every detail as he talked about each section of the estate.

"This is the dinning room, it's just for you and the boss".

The dining room was elegant, with a long table, I guess he has a large family, then he showed me to the kitchen, then the flower garden, I couldn't help but marvelled at the beautiful sight.

'Who could have thought a bad man like him would have such a beautiful garden'

"He's not a bad man Bluey, when you get to know him you'll see it" he said with a small smile.

"Did I say that out loud?" I said laughing dryly in embarrassment.

"Duh huh, he kidnapped me from my concert, and brought me to wherever this is, to me he isn't just a bad man but a cold one too" I said with an eye roll"

Enrico just shook his head helplessly

"This garden belongs to the boss mother, she loves gardening, no one is allowed to enter without permission.

"Oh the big bad wolf has a mother" I said with a smirk

"That's mean Bluey" Enrico said.

"I don't care okay?, he brought me here without my permission, I don't even know him, for all I know people might be out there searching for me, but here I am kept against my will" I retorted angrily.

"Calm down, Bluey"

"Please don't tell me to be calm, I don't think I can take this in any further, please show me to my room, I need to rest" I said looking away from him.

Enrico stared at me for a while before uttering "Follow me".

We walked through the hallway before stopping at a door, there we met a young girl standing with her head down dressed in a maid uniform.

"This is Sylvia, she'll be your handmaid from now on"

"Good evening, Donna" she bowed respectfully.

'What's with these people with the Donna thing it's creepy'.

After the introduction, Enrico left.

"This is your room, Donna" Sylvia said has we made our way into the room. It was big, beautiful and luxurious with the walls painted in black and grey, it had a Spanish and Italian design yet so modern, just my kind of colour, with a king-size bed, she showed me the bathroom, which had male shower gels and toiletries I didn't think much of it maybe they didn't know I'll be here.

"What's your Boss like" I asked

"Donna?" she replied confused.

"Call me Bluey" I said with a smile.

She looked so frightened when she heard that, her eyes filled with fear, I felt comfortable with her, I have a good feeling about this.

"I dare not, Donna" she said with her head down.

"Com'on Sylvia, it's just the two of us" I said gently.

She remained silent for a while, I almost gave up when I head her little voice.

"How about, Miss Bluey". She said.

"Works for me" I said with a smile

"You can leave now, I'll call for you when I need you" I said walking into the bathroom.

The bathe water was already heated, I went in to take a bath to calm my nerves, the shower gel smelled like sandalwood mixed with lavender, a masculine scent yet soothing.

"Shit!" I cursed when I realized I didn't bring the towel into the bathroom, I walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom to get the towel.

"What are you doing here" I screamed in fear when I saw the second person in my room.
