"I didn't ask you to mark me! I didn't ask you to save me! Why are you doing this?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "When will my wants matter?" "But I did," Ryker snarled. "You're standing here because I did." Even though he could read my emotions effortlessly, he revealed none of his own. His face remained a mask of stone. "You said you'd let me go, that you never wanted to see me. You said I was free." My voice cracked. I had been happy. What a cruel, false hope that had been. "I lied, Talia," he declared darkly. "Both you and the baby you're carrying are mine!" There he went again. The baby wasn't even his!

The Luna's broken daughter Chapter 1

Talia Grey. This was bad; this was very bad. It was so complicated too. Not to mention that it would put Alpha Kael Fang in a tight spot. Alpha Kael was a rigid man, but the Moonfang clan would not deny the fact that he was a good leader. Surely, he would know what to do. I dashed off as fast as my feet could carry me. Alpha Kael was the only one I trusted to make the best decision at this moment. I moved so fast my eyes blurred, and my senses were too blunt to recognize the presence of a powerful wolf, but I ran into Luna Selene Fang. "Why are you in so much of a hurry, Talia?" As usual, Luna Selene's voice was cold. I feared this woman, so my fingers began to shake automatically. My tongue felt numb. "Answer me, slave girl!" She snapped. Luna Selene was a very tall woman; unfortunately, her patience was not directly proportional to her height. My lips trembled; my intuition told me to be quiet, to lie, to get out of her presence, but fear ruled with a stronger hand. "I found it," I breathed. For several weeks now, the Alpha had been searching for his amulet. The amulet held so much power, and without it, he was almost raw and exposed. It was a powerful piece that had been passed down through generations of Alphas, too. It kept our village safe; its sacredness was the only reason for our peaceful living. And now, I had found it. "Where? Where did you find it?" she asked, her eyes glowing with curiosity. This was the hard part. "Jade's old trunk." My heart slammed against my ribcage as I said the words. This was bad. Because Jade was Luna Selene's first daughter. Luna Selene had only one child with the Alpha, Jared. She had brought Jade into the marriage. Nevertheless, the Alpha was kind enough to treat both children like they were his. "I do not believe you!" the Luna snapped. "Take me to it!" I obeyed immediately. Who was I not to? I had been a slave to the Alpha since I was 10, and now I was 19. I remembered nothing of who I was before I got here, but I remembered my first day in this house like it was a book I read yesterday. I discovered only when I was 15 that my previous memories had been erased because I wouldn't stop trying to run away. "How did you find it?" Luna Selene snarled when we opened the box. Jade's trunk wasn't something I got to open on any random day, but today I could swear I had heard something call out to me from inside the box. It had called me by my name. Talia. But there were too many strange things inside the box, and I could not figure out what did it, and then the amulet caught my eye. Luna Selene would not believe the truth. So I lied. "I wanted to clean it. It seemed too dusty." She seemed to buy that, so she nodded her head and sighed. She looked disturbed, but I knew why. Just the day before, the Alpha had announced a death sentence for whosoever had stolen the amulet. When found, the person would be given thirty lashes for thirty days and would be killed if he did not die before the thirty days were over. It was a threat he made in a state of emergency; we had a festival by the weekend, and he needed the amulet for it. To my surprise, Luna Selene's voice became calm and slightly warm. "Thank you so much for telling me about this, Talia; you do not know how grateful I am. I'll make sure to reward you. Who knows, maybe your days of being a slave will finally come to an end. Come here." She pulled me in for a very quick hug. "Now go back to the servant quarters and let me handle this. You will not tell a soul about what this is. Promise me." She pushed me. Her iciness was coming back to the surface. I answered with trembling lips, "I promise." "Good. Now leave," she ordered, but just as I turned, she pulled me back and draped her coat over me. "Here, take this; it's cold outside. Don't bother to return it. You deserve it." It was the first gift she had given me in all my 19 years of working my ass off in this house. My heart wanted to burst. I fell to my knees in reverence of her as Luna. "Thank you, Luna." She snorted but said nothing. I knew what she meant; such actions were meaningless from a werewolf without a wolf. I pushed the thought out of my mind; I would not let it ruin my mood. The coat was warm against my shoulders. I had not gotten any new clothes since I was 16, and now the clothes I had were small and tight. It was still easy to wear because I had a small body. There was no extra nutrient to aid my growth when I worked my ass off for every meal I ate. We slaves ate twice each day, and it was always the survival of the fittest. I went a whole day sometimes without eating because I had no strength to fight for food. I had no wolf. Even kids younger than me would beat me to a pulp if I dared to challenge them. I gathered the coat around my neck as I lay in a corner at the female servants' quarters. I wondered how the Luna intended to tell the Alpha that her daughter had stolen the amulet. But an hour had barely passed by when I heard commotion outside; the door was kicked open before I made it to it, and it fell directly against my head, and my body slid to the floor as pain enveloped my head. My world seemed to stop revolving when a guard pointed at me. "Seize the thief!"

Abandoned Heiress, Now His Mafia Bride

I was tracing the gold paint on my own tombstone when a hand tapped me on the shoulder. It was Clayton. The same man who, five years ago, had left me bleeding out in a ditch because he didn't want to be late for my sister's engagement party. "Die quietly, Ivy," he had said over the phone before hanging up. Now, standing over my grave, he dropped his cheap plastic flowers in shock. "Ivy? You're... we buried you." They hadn't buried me. They had buried an empty box to save face, mourning a "troubled" daughter they had actually discarded like broken trash the moment I became a liability. Clayton's shock quickly turned to that familiar, arrogant anger. He accused me of faking my death for attention. He told me I was sick for putting the family through such pain. He even reached out to grab my arm, intending to drag me back to my father to apologize. "You're coming with me," he spat. "You owe us an explanation." But he made a fatal mistake. He thought he was talking to Ivy Dillard, the soft girl who cried when she skinned her knees. He didn't notice the town car waiting at the curb, or the man stepping out of it. Before Clayton's fingers could graze my coat, a hand made of steel caught his wrist. Collin Richardson, the most feared Capo in Chicago, stepped between us. "Touch my wife again," Collin whispered, his voice promising violence. "And you lose the hand." I smiled at the terror draining the color from Clayton's face. I didn't come back from the dead to explain myself. I came back to bury them.

Beast World: They Hated Me, Then I Cooked Them Dinner
9.1
Waking up with a cold, scaly hand wrapped around my throat wasn't the worst part. The worst part was realizing I'd transmigrated into the body of Terra Mason—the most despised woman in the entire Enclave. She drugged high-level beast-men and forced them into life-binding bio-contracts. She locked an aquatic warrior in a dry basement until his organs failed. She treated the most lethal males in the city like broken toys. Zev, the Level 6 serpent who's currently choking me, would rather blow up his own heart than spend another day as my slave. His affection metric? Negative ninety. His trust? Zero. Then my system activates: the Kore AI. It gives me exactly 500 credits, a medical nano-gel, and a recipe for neutralizing the radioactive poison in mutant meat. Real food. In this world, that's worth more than gold. I save Rhys, the dying aquatic male everyone left for dead. I season a slab of purple mutant steak until Sam, a battle-scarred grizzly shifter, groans at the taste—and his trust points finally tick above zero. When my backstabbing ex-best friend tries to steal my males and destroy me, I don't scream or throw a tantrum like the old Terra. I dismantle her with the truth. But earning their trust means more than grilling meat. A scorpion swarm ambushes us at midnight. Sam throws himself between me and a stinger the size of my arm. As he stands over the corpse, fur receding from his claws, he stares at me and whispers, "You were testing me." Yes. I was. Because in this world, the weak don't survive. And I refuse to be weak again. Four beast-men. Four contracts. One system. And a whole lot of steak. Let this dystopian wasteland know—I'm not the monster they remember. I'm worse. I'm the one who's going to feed them until they'd kill for me.
Betrayed Heiress: Married To The Devil
8.9
I was tossed into a dark alley like rotting garbage, bleeding and grieving the child I had just lost. When I was finally brought back to my fiancé Angelo's penthouse, instead of comfort, I was met with absolute disgust. His family declared me "unclean" after the kidnapping. Angelo coldly announced he was burying the scandal by marrying my sweet, innocent cousin, Carissa. When we were alone, Carissa stood over my bed, her voice dripping with venomous delight. "My father arranged the kidnapping. And now, Angelo and I can finally be together." Before I could react, she forced a silver letter opener into my hand, deliberately stabbed her own shoulder, and let out a bloodcurdling scream. Angelo stormed in, struck me across the face, and gathered a sobbing Carissa into his arms, looking at me with absolute revulsion. The family matriarch appeared at the door, her cold eyes sweeping over the scene before she gave a chilling order to the maids. "Clean this up." They pinned me down and brutally drove the blade directly into my chest. I choked on my own blood, staring at the man who had promised me the world as he turned his back, calling my murder a "mercy." As my heart beat its final agonizing rhythm, I made a silent vow to the shadows that if there was a next life, I would have my vendetta. When I opened my eyes again, there was no blood, only the soft silk of my nightgown. I had returned to the day before my eighteenth birthday. This time, I wouldn't play the desperate victim. I was going to ally with the Devil of Chicago and burn them all to the ground.
Beyond Betrayal, My Soul's True Mate
8.8
Strapped to the cold metal table in the hospital basement, I begged my Fated Mate, Alpha Marcus, for mercy. He ignored my tears. With a voice devoid of warmth, he ordered the doctor to inject liquid silver into my veins—a poison designed to dissolve the wolf spirit. "Do it," he commanded. "If she remains a wolf, she is a liability. As a human, she can stay as an Omega." I screamed as the silver acid ate through my soul, severing the connection to my wolf. Marcus didn't flinch. He wasn't saving me from my burn injuries; he was clearing the path for his mistress, Rachel, and their secret illegitimate son. Broken and wolfless, I was forced to watch him publicly claim his bastard child as the new heir. He thought I was submissive. He thought I would quietly fade into the servant's quarters to be his charity case. He didn't know I had cracked his safe and found the DNA tests proving his three-year betrayal. On the morning of his wedding to Rachel, I smiled as I climbed into the car that would take me to my "exile." Ten minutes later, my scheduled email exposing every lie hit the Council of Elders. And while Marcus fell to his knees screaming at the sight of my burning vehicle, realizing he had destroyed his True Mate for a fraud, I was already gone.
