The Love Therapist Chapter 1

I'm a love therapist. My job is to help clients experience what it's like to be in love.

One day, a client comes to me, wanting me to serve him in a different manner.

"You're finally here, Ginny. There's one client who's been waiting for you for ages," Luke Smith said.

I'd just arrived at the store when he—the store manager—pulled me aside. "One of the clients came and specifically requested for your services. He's already waiting in the private room."

He looked around, then whispered, "He brought some tools with him. I think… You should probably watch out for him. Keep yourself safe."

I, Ginny Vine, was surprised to hear that. I was a love therapist, and what I mainly did was allow clients to experience what it felt like to be in love by interacting with them. Certain physical contact wasn't explicitly mentioned but was expected.

The fact that Luke was so cautious told me that this client probably wasn't to be trifled with. Still, I smiled. "It's okay. I can handle it."

I prepared myself and smiled professionally before heading into the private room. "Good day, sir. I'm your love therapist… for the day."

I subconsciously lowered my voice toward the end of my sentence, my smile stiffening at the sight of the tools laid out. The client looked normal—he seemed to be in his early 30s and looked like a gentleman. The only jarring thing about this scene was the adult toys laid on the table.

My anxiety level started rising. Could it be that this client had some weird fetishes? Still, I had to be professional. I sat beside him with a gentle smile.

"I'm your girlfriend today, okay? I can do whatever you want me to as long as it's within our rules and regulations." I acted like I didn't see the things on the table. I poured a glass of water and handed it to the client. Then, I leaned against him, polite yet not too distant. It was perfect.

The client's eyes gleamed when he looked at me. It seemed he was very satisfied. "As expected of the store's top therapist. You're as good as they say."

His gaze became excited. He picked up something from the table and waved it around, which made my smile freeze. Damn it! It looked like he wanted to…

Before I could react, he fell to his knees before me and held the adult toy above his head. He looked at me, his gaze almost worshipful. "From now on, you'll be my everything. I'll be your most loyal knight! Give me your orders, my queen!"

I was gobsmacked. I looked at the client, feeling at a loss for what to do. I thought the adult toys were for me, but they were actually for him.

The client was displeased by my hesitation. "Aren't you guys supposed to be capable of fulfilling all clients' needs? Can't you do this?"

I snapped to my senses and smiled. "Of course I can. We strive to make all our clients' desires come true!"

I smiled my sweetest smile. It was what most clients had liked most about me, but this one frowned. "A queen would never smile like that!"

Almost immediately, I realized what he meant. I dropped the smile and held my head high. I put on an arrogant look and stepped on his back. "Get down on all fours!"

Playing The Toxic Wife To Attract Billionaires Novel Cover
9.1
June woke up transmigrated into the body of a ruthless billionaire's toxic, disposable wife. Before she could even process the massive Beverly Hills mansion, a cold system voice announced she had exactly five minutes of lifespan remaining. To survive, she was forced to bind with the system and strictly maintain the original owner's "brainless, abusive drama queen" persona to earn hours to live. She was forced to violently slap hot coffee out of a terrified maid's hands and physically spank her manipulative five-year-old stepson. When she tried to escape this nightmare by throwing divorce papers at her terrifying husband, Isaac Walton, he simply ripped them to shreds. Every time she tried to be reasonable or show a hint of kindness, the system tortured her with agonizing cardiac pain, cementing her status as the most hated monster in the family. The most absurd part happened when she threw a hysterical, system-mandated tantrum over a gossip magazine, and Isaac's icy demeanor suddenly melted. He gently touched her hair, offering the one thing she desperately needed. "Stop crying. I'll handle it." Just as a spark of hope ignited in her chest, the system's critical death warning exploded in her skull: accepting his sympathy would instantly deduct thirty days of her life. To stay alive, June had no choice but to violently slap away the only hand reaching out to save her, forcing herself to play the greedy villain while her husband's gaze turned dangerously dark.
