Chapter 2

The bright morning sun made the whole room hot for Lucia, she had to get up and head to the kitchen. The late moon pack mother's brother was coming to see them after several years.

" Where's that dirty brat!... Lucia" Princess Aria called out as Lucia quickly ran towards her.

" Why did you wake up late, can't you see how dirty the house is?" She asked filled with rage.

" I'm sorry, my princess " she apologized as Aria slapped her and pulled her up to slap her again

" STOP IT!" A voice from the house entrance shouted. It was the Draven's brother. Lucia quickly got up and ran to the kitchen

" Uncle, what a surprise" Aria said trying to behave casual.

" So you're Aria, my nephew's wife?" Master xander asked looking at her

" Oh! Yes I'm. Welcome sir." She added as she took his bag .

" Why were you treating the maid like that?" He asked .

" Oh, that silly girl. She disobeyed me" Aria lied

" Hmm, quit to hash of you, were is Lucia she's the one I came to see." He added as he took a seat.

" Hmm, Lucia come here " Aria said . Lucia was very angry, her cheek was swollen as she got up and went to answer her name.

Xander was surprised." Was Lucia the girl you were beating?" He said as he got up with rage immediately Draven came in.

" Welcome uncle" he said noticing the dilemma that was about to happen.

" My dear boy made a very big mistake I must say!" Xander said as he held Lucia's hands.

" And you Draven accepted all this I'll treatment being given to the lady your mother left in your care before she passed away." He added as he looked at both of them with disgust. Lucia bowed her head down, she knew if he was gone by tomorrow morning Aria will punish her .

" Uncle my apologies for what my wife did" Draven apologized.

" Hmmm, I can see you're not yet ready to be the alpha " Xander added.

" Get my room ready " he commanded as Aria quickly went upstairs to get his room ready.

The afternoon was very terrible for Lucia, Aria continuously eyed at Lucia, she knew she was up for big trouble.

" Calm down girl, she can't do anything" Eva said as Lucia kept panicking.

" You can't be silent as she makes your life a living hell, you to are a werefolf too , you have your own rights ". Eva said as they heard a knock on the door. Immediately Lucia quickly hide in the cardboard. Eva went to open it and it was uncle Xander

" Is Lucia in?" He asked as he entered inside.

" YYes... Sir, Lucia you can come out now " she said as Lucia came out.

" Good day sir" she greeted. Lucia was slowly becoming who she never thought about. She had low self esteem and was awkwardly shy.

" Well, get ready to leave this place" he said as Eva was shocked.

" To where sir?" Lucia asked.

" I want to get you out of here, we are going to North Carolina tomorrow. Are you ok about that?" He said as she immediately hugged him.

" Yes , I'm. Thank you so much" Lucia said. Eva wasn't happy about that, only her and the rest of the maids in this house?

" But Lucia deserved good life atleast she slept in a room but Lucia usually slept in the store room with mices not to even talk about the annoying smell of the store room " Eva thought to herself as she hugged her affectoinally.

" I'm so glad " Eva said as tears rolled down from her eyes .

" Me to !" Lucia said excited.

The rest of the day was fun filled, Eva wanted to use the few hours with her to make memories.

" Why don't we go get ice cream?" Eva requested because Aria wasn't home and Draven went out with uncle Xander.

" Sure why not!" Lucia said as they both chatted as they ran down the hill. She was happy about moving to Carolina and start her werefolf journey and so was Eva to.

The morning finally came all the moon pack were present maybe Aria told them about her leave. Lucia already packed her belongings waiting for the carriage and Eva to. Aria sent her to get something and she wasn't home yet

" I think we shouldn't allow her to go" one of the moon pack said as Lucia eavesdropped.

" Yh, but she needs to leave anyways remember she's the shame of the pack" another said as they all chorused " YEAH!"

Lucia was still happy anyways, her happiness overwhelmed her immediately she heard the Taxi coming. Uncle Xander was already at the door. The other maids helped her carry her belongings, she was finally feeling like a royal reborned werefolf. But she still looked around for Eva!,

" Lucia, c'mon let's go" he yelled. The whole moon pack members hugged her even Aria and Draven. " Don't forget where you came from ". Draven advised Her for the first time, Lucia knew he never liked her that all this was pretense.

She hopped on the carriage and waved everyone Good bye. Slowly, the taxi moved . Lucia opened the window still looking for Eva Yes, there she saw at the back of Draven as she flashed a bright smile. The memories flooded Lucia's head while she closed the window. All those days of suffering and most especially she will never forget the day Draven rejected her........

The ride was fast , uncle Xander and Lucia chatted about so many stuff's. She was slowly becoming happy, she knew she was going to start a new page at North Carolina. The street wasn't busy, it was calm. Lucia loved watching the people go about their daily activities.

" So what do you want to eat?" Uncle Xander asked as the driver stopped at the restaurant. Lucia ate her favorite snack for the second time, she now saw a reason to smile again.............
