Chapter 5

Draka's POV

"Ahhhh..." I moan as Rowan enters me. He is so huge and I can barely keep my mouth shut.

Rowan has my hands pinned above my head and my head is pressed against a pillow. His hand is right under my belly, aiding my weak legs to keep still while he repeatedly drives into me.

My eyes are rolling back into my head. My head feels fuzzy and I fear that I don't want this to end.

His grunts come harder and he grabs around my waist tighter. He finally thrusts into me before stopping.

He moves away from me, I pull the cover over myself and hide my face. It has happened each time that Rowan has become Alpha.

He has kept me hostage, forbidden me from leaving the house, and he has made me cook his meal and satisfy his sexual urges.

I am so scared of Rowan, he is such a tall giant of a man and I always think that he could snap my neck if he felt like it.

I have not recovered from the shock of him being my mate. He is way beyond my league, I don't know why the moon goddess has chosen him to be my mate.

I am scared of Rowan and also harbor the fear that he hates me too. I am nothing but a common kitchen girl.

I sit in the corner of the bed, my legs are still shaking and I feel the sensational throb between my legs. As I watch him come out of the bathroom and put on a shirt.

"Don't bother staying up and cooking for me today." Rowan says. "I won't be coming back home. I will be back in three days."

"Can I go out into the woods?" I ask. He stops and looks at me.

I have never asked him for anything. I have hardly spoken more than a few words to him. He seems surprised that I've asked him anything too.

"What did you say?" He asks, his frown causing my heart to shrink.

"I just want to go to pick some mushrooms, the way I used to do before... before you became Alpha."

"There is no need for you to leave the house. You can ask Stella to pick the mushrooms for you," he waves off.

Yes, Stella has now become the kitchen girl. I don't work in the kitchen anymore, I only cook for Rowan when he orders me.

Stella has not been pleased, but she has no choice. I don't want to send Stella on an errand, I want to pick the mushrooms myself.

"Please, Alpha Rowan, I want to pick it myself." I plead.

Rowan is staring at me. His eyes cause chills to run down my spine.

"Come here," he gestures with his index finger.

I swallow a gulp as I stand up from the bed. I am naked, except for the blanket that I have used to cover my nakedness.

Rowan is so tall that I am barely at his chest level. He raises my chin with his hand, causing me to look into his eyes.

"Are you trying to run away from me, babydoll?" He demands to know.

"N–no, Alpha Rowan." I shake my head.

"Because if you do, I will find you and you don't want to know what I will do to you." he warns.

A small gasp leaves my mouth. I don't know which I feel more – fear for him or the urge to have him pin me on the bed again and take me all over again.

He lets go of me as he walks towards the door. "Go on. Pick up your little mushrooms and make sure that you come back before dark."

Three months. That's how long since Rowan was made Alpha and how long I have been kept in the house.

I take my bath and put on my dress. As soon as the pack members see me out of the house, they stop and stare at me.

I might be mated to Rowan, but I am not their Luna and they know this. They know that they are not obligated to show me any respect, so they only stare at me.

"Is she really sleeping in the alpha's room now?"

"She is no longer the kitchen girl, she is now his concubine."

"Don't worry, he will get tired of her soon and throw her out. She will become the kitchen girl again, he won't even look at her again."

I ignore their mean words and start to walk back to the woods. Immediately the cold air hits my face, it breaks into a smile.

I have not been out in three months and it feels so good to be out.

I have a small basket in my hand, I walk for ten minutes, down the path where I normally get my delicious mushrooms.

I kneel by the plant and uproot some of them and put them in my basket. I smile, I will make a nice meal for Rowan when he comes back. I know that he loves my cooking.

As I bring the mushroom close to my face, I immediately get a strange feeling as soon as the scent of the plant hits my nose.

I immediately get up on my feet and run in the other direction as I painfully throw up against a tree.

What's wrong with me? I never get sick.

I thought that was going to be the end of it, but I spent the entire night throwing up and developing a fever.

That's a surprise because I never fall ill. I have lived through many harsh conditions and survived, so why have I suddenly gone sick.

A realization causes my stomach to sink to itself. I hope that it's not true, but after stealing a pregnancy test from one of the girls' rooms, I find out that what I have been dreading is true.

When Rowan is about to come back, I spend the entire night cooking his favorite food. Everyone is asleep.

I can hardly keep awake, I'm so tired nowadays. That's when Rowan's car drives in and the light beams cause my heart to skip a couple of beats.

As expected, he sees me as he walks into the kitchen. My hands are shaking as I stir the pot. I don't know if I'm scared or excited to finally have him back.

He stops at the door, leaning against the frame as he watches me cook.

"Welcome back, Alpha Rowan," I say, avoiding looking at him.

"What are you cooking?" He touches his chin.

"Just some spaghetti. For you."

He comes closer and stands behind me. I feel his body heat.

"Rowan, I need to tell you some–"

"Shush. Don't speak." He warns me. "Put your hands on the counter. Don't take them off."

I inhale as I do as he has instructed. I have my back turned to him, but I feel his hands touching my ass, tracing the lining of my panties.

A small moan leaves my mouth and I just wish I could disappear.

"Please, I need to tell you something."

His fingers come between my legs, my legs turn to jelly, they are giving way under me.

"Rowan, I'm pregnant."

Finally, I have gotten the words out. His hands freeze and he moves away from me. His hands goes over his face, I almost burst out into tears. I don't know if he hates me for getting pregnant. I mean, we banged almost everyday.

"That's not a problem." He finally shrugs it off. "I will take the pub. He is going to be the next alpha."

"What if it's a girl?" My voice croaks. "What will happen to me?"

"You will remain who you are, the kitchen girl. My child will be mine to worry about." He says.

That's the coldest thing anyone has ever said to me. I feel the tears leave my eyes.

"But alpha Rowan, I'm your mate," the tears pour out like a river.

"Don't be stupid, Draka . You are nothing but a kitchen girl, you will never be my mate or my Luna."
