SURROGATE FOR MY SISTER'S HUSBAND Chapter 1

Betty's POV.

I stared at my parents like they had grown two heads, not believing what they just said.

"That's impossible, is this some sort of joke?" I questioned and Mum just rolled her eyes, relaxing against the sofa while Dad placed a hand on her lap.

"No Joke, Betty. Your sister really needs this." Dad told me and my lips parted in shock.

"You are telling me, Jenna is okay with me screwing her man?" I widened my eyes at them and Dad nodded slowly.

"Yes, she is that desperate. Rather than her husband cheating to get an heir, she prefers it to be you instead." Mum explained but I shook my head sideways.

It still didn't make sense to me.

"Darius wouldn't do that to her, he is not that kind of man." I folded my arms across my chest, and Mum raised her eyebrows at me.

"And how are you so certain of that?" Mum scoffed.

'Because he is my crush.' I wanted to reply but bit my tongue hard.

"Sister Jenna married a good man. They have just been wedded 2 years or so, they should have patience, th...." I tried saying when mum raised her hand, signalling me to stop.

"Darius's parents are already pressuring your sister, are you going to help her or not?" Mum half-yelled and I let out a sigh.

It's not been three years since their marriage, since I left home for a fresh start because I couldn't bear to see my sister with the man I have loved all my life.

Mum and Dad summoned me back urgently. Apparently, Jenna has fertility issues, and she didn't want to use a surrogate; she wanted her blood sister, rather, to have sex with her husband and bear a child in her stead.

Sure, the idea of that made my heart race, but at the same time, it wasn't right, and something seemed off.

"Betty, I know it's difficult but I really need this." Jenna rubbed my hair from behind and I froze.

'When did she get in?' I pondered, turning around to face the blonde-haired woman, smiling down at me.

It wasn't her usual bright smile, though; she had eye bags and wrinkles, as if she hadn't been able to sleep from too much worry, her blue eyes were turning red and puffy.

'Had she been crying? Why? Was Darius bothering her? But he wasn't that kind of man.' I thought, entwining our hands and leading her to come sit beside me.

"What's wrong? You don't look so good." I told her and she shuddered, like I had touched a sensitive subject.

"Darius's family gave me just a year more." Jenna began, biting her lower lip hard, and I felt my heart tighten in pain.

Why would they stress her like this?

"And Darius? What was his comment about this?" I asked, and Mum sighed, like I had asked a stupid question, but I needed to know.

Was the man I thought I knew all this time a fluke?

"He isn't aware, I was warned not to tell him, and I obliged, so I don't cause rifts between them." Jenna adjusted her coat to cover herself properly.

"I really need this Betty. They don't want surrogacy so I need you to carry the child while I pretend to be pregnant. I don't want to lose Darius, please." Jenna burst into tears, and my heart tightened even more.

I had never seen big sis this vulnerable. She never cries, which means this was really life-threatening for her.

"Betty, are you going to be cruel and say no after witnessing all these?" Mum questioned as she stood up to gather Jenna in her arms.

I looked away, multiple thoughts drafting in my mind. Jenna had always been the family's favorite, especially mum's. All my life, I have been trying to meet up, but to no avail.

"I will help." I decided, getting up and walking down the hallway to my former room, only to open it and see that it had been turned into Jenna's private wardrobe.

TF! She doesn't even live here.

I stormed back into the living room.

"Mum, what is Jenna's stuff doing in my room?" I questioned, and Jenna shook, tugging on Mum's clothes.

"Is that what you should be concerned about in this predicament?" Mum sneered and I felt rage burning in my veins.

I have had enough of this favoritism. If anything, I should be the one enjoying that now since I was about to sacrifice my future for my big sis, who should be the protector, not the fucking other way round.

"Yes, Mummy. Where would I sleep? On the floor?" I half-yelled.

"That's not a bad idea." Mum shrugged and it was like I had been punched in the guts as I watched her lead Jenna away from the room.

Dad stood up and placed a hand on my shoulders.

"I am sorry, please make use of the coach here since it's just a tonight. Tomorrow, you will be moving in with Jenna and her husband." He told me and also walked away, leaving me all alone to glance around in disbelief.

The next morning, I felt tired as hell because I didn't even get a wink of sleep, the coach wasn't comfortable so I decided to use the time to work on my business projects.

I yawned as I stepped into the bathroom to freshen up. Jenna and I would be leaving in an hour so I could meet Darius before he left for work.

As the car drove into their huge compound, where the massive mansion stood at the center, my heart began to pound heavily against my chest.

I was finally going to see him again, after how many years?

Would he even remember me again? He never did pay attention to me and was always all over Jenna, even though it was I, who did him the favor back then.

But I guess that didn't matter, Jenna and his love for her did, but did he also agree to this arrangement, or would we have to be drugging him to make out?

I chuckled at my thoughts even though it wasn't that funny. Anything to ease the nervousness building in me.

"Please feel at home." Jenna gestured to a coach for me to sit on before disappearing into the kitchen and returning with a glass cup and a pack of Juice.

She served me with a smile dancing on her lips, looking as radiant as before. No more eye bags or wrinkles.

I get to have them now.

My phone pinged with a message, shortly after, it began ringing so I decided to excuse myself to go take it.

"Where's the guest room?" I asked, and Jenna pointed to the left, so I went there, opened the door, and began talking, only to hear some sounds behind me, so I turned around.

My hands holding the phone shook, my eyes widening in disbelief as I saw Darius standing there with just a shirt on.

He was naked from the legs down, and between his legs stood his huge cock, dangling and hardening.

"Who are you? What are you doing on my property?" He snapped, his jaw tightening as a shiver ran down my spine.

What was he doing in a guest room?
