After Transmigrating Into a Book, I Bound the Straight-A Student Training System Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

"Sis, I really tried my best. Can you give me a little reward?" The school heartthrob puppy-eyed looked at me with teary eyes.

Me: "...Like what?"

Certain Underachiever: "Sis could give me some physical punishment, or say some harsh words, humiliate me to your heart's content. I'll really like your discipline..."

Me: "Oh, got it."

"Stand up and take a look at these dismal grades."

"Laugh, go on, laugh again if you dare, and copy this exam five times. Did everything I taught you just get swallowed up? You don't remember anything I said!"

The certain underachiever stared at me in disbelief: "You serious?"

1

I'm a sadly doomed university girl who missed the teacher qualification exam score by one point.

Because I was so hung up on this, one day, someone claiming to be a student-assist system found me. All I had to do was successfully transform the loser male lead into a top student and help him get into college, and they would review and pass my score directly.

Me: "No more nonsense. Here's the deal: even if it were the village fool, I could turn him into a model student, so don't forget your promise."

System: "Got it."

Then the system explained patiently: "This task isn't easy because the male lead is really hard to teach. The last few taskers failed, but I think you have the potential to do it successfully."

Though that may be, something still felt off.

System: "And if you succeed, there's a $1 million cash reward?"

Me: "Are you kidding? It's not about the money. I'm just not over that 69. I'll take this task, and no one compete with me for it."

System: "Roger that."

2

Just then, a basketball flew toward my forehead in a parabolic arc so fast I couldn't react.

System: "Woohoo~ the male lead is here, good luck."

I was dazed for a second, and a strong arm quickly pulled me into a hug.

"Even if I dumped you, there's no need to self-destruct, Class Monitor."

I looked up and saw a brash redhead with delicate features standing in front of me. A standard school uniform was worn with a high-fashion flair.

Honestly, just from his looks, you could tell why he was the male lead.

Of course, you have to ignore the playful look in his eyes when he spoke.

As much as I wanted to thank him, I couldn't stand looking at his wind-blown red hair.

"Hey there, since you call me Class Monitor, as the Class Monitor, I can't just ignore you. What's with your red hair? And why is your school jacket unzipped? Did you alter your pants, and you even have an early romance? None of these are allowed in high school. You don't give anyone peace of mind. Zip up your jacket, will you?"

All the students playing ball around paused in surprise.

The heartthrob was also stunned by my words for a moment.

After a while, he glared at me and spoke through gritted teeth: "Felix, you seriously think just catching a fever gives you memory loss? Let me tell you, Brian's matters are none of your business; just be a good student."

With that, he swaggered off with his posse.

Watching his retreating figure, I took a deep breath and called out:

"The bell for class is about to ring; you should all hurry back."

Brian's steps faltered for a moment, then he kept walking across the field without looking back.

"Alex, she's right. Class is about to start. Are we still playing?"

"Of course. When have I ever been afraid?"

OK, honestly, I didn't care much.

But the dean might think differently.

Swiftly, I dragged the dean, still sipping tea in the office, to the field, then left.

3

I was sitting in the classroom, head down doing my math homework. College-level high school problems were tough, and I was set to tackle this problem when my paper was snatched away.

I followed the gaze upward to see Brian's angry face.

"Felix, you did this on purpose, right? You're just trying to get back at me. I'm warning you, it's not over. Don't leave after school."

"Oh no, you're doomed. The male lead's going to corner you after school." The system gleefully chimed in.

"Unless I'm mistaken, you still owe a 3,000-word reflection. Rather than cornering me, you should complete your task, or you'll really be stuck after school." I looked up and smirked.

"Damn." Brian ruffled his hair in frustration, then plopped onto the empty desk next to me.

Forgot to mention, he's my classmate. The seating was arranged by the class president, which in this case was the original me. Still unsure why the president handles seating, but having a good-looking heartthrob nearby all day is certainly a treat.

Of course, at this moment, you have to ignore his dog-like handwriting.

Crooked and peculiar yet oddly cute.

"Hey, stop staring at me, will you?"

The little puppy looks quite fierce, but his slightly red ear lobes make him seem more like he's bluffing.

It seems even the male lead in a post started off as a little white flower.

"No, it's just that I find you dazzling, you shouldn't spend your life like this. If you need, I can help you, whether in life or studies."

Upon hearing this, the little puppy stared at my eyes emotionlessly, then sneered: "Do you think you're a savior? I don't need your fake kindness. Do you think just because you say some inconsequential words from your high horse, I'll be grateful to you? You're not me, how do you know my situation, stop dreaming."

Although this was infuriating, seeing the teenager's thin shoulders shaking slightly and his eyes on the verge of tearing up, all the anger turned into heartache.

"I know you won't believe it, but it's okay. I'll prove it with real actions."

In the next few classes, neither of us spoke.

System: "Are you really not afraid the male lead will find someone to block you after school?"

Me: "Relax, kids at this age love to talk tough. I can see the male lead isn't a bad person. I'll definitely teach him well."

4

"Kid, be sensible and pay up quickly, or don't blame us if we're not polite." Several burly men stopped Alex Myers in the alley, speaking harshly.

"I have no money, and even if I did, I wouldn't pay for that idiot's debt.

Find whoever owes you money to pay back." Brian Smith yelled helplessly, leaning against the wall.

"Yes, that's right, but your dad's missing now, so the son's gotta pay, right?"

"I haven't seen Charlie Myers for a long time, he stopped contacting me a while ago."

"If you can't pay, we'll beat you up a bit, at least to vent our anger, how's that? Hahaha." As they spoke, sticks and fists rained down on the boy's frail body like a storm.

"Stop, don't hit him anymore." I rushed into the alley and shielded the bruised Brian Smith behind me.

"How much does his dad owe you? I'll pay it for him."

"150,000, right? Take the money and leave, don't ever harass him again."

"Wow, kid, you're quite lucky to have such a rich and pretty girlfriend. If you said so earlier, wouldn't things be settled sooner?"

After they left, I quickly ran over and carefully helped Brian Smith up from the ground.

He stared directly at me: "I have no money to repay you, and I won't be your boyfriend. What do you really want? What else is there in me that you want?"

"You don't need to be my boyfriend, you just need to know that now the debtor is me, and you have to listen to me. Isn't that quite a good deal?"

"Are you trying to keep me? I don't mind accompanying you, but tonight it might not be possible, I have injuries, can we wait until tomorrow?"

The moment Brian Smith lifted his eyes and asked me, my heart almost shattered. Who could resist such a handsome boy looking at you with a broken and pleading gaze?

Seeing I didn't speak, the light in his eyes dimmed: "Did I guess wrong?"

"No no no, it's not that, I never thought of it this way." I quickly responded and shook my head to refuse.

I cursed myself, yet felt that the true fault lay elsewhere.

If it weren't for my prolonged entanglement over money with the system, the male lead wouldn't have been hurt.

His gambling dad isn't a good person either.

Me: "Just follow my words, I have no other demands. Study well and strive for a good university.

When you repay the money doesn't matter.

Also, I don't want to keep you, nor do I want you to be my boyfriend."

After a while, he lowered his eyes, his gaze filled with a deep, unrelenting emotion.

Then he slowly smiled.

"Alright, I'll listen to whatever you say."

5

Brian Smith dyed his red hair black and wore his uniform properly.

He already had good looks, and now he truly appeared dignified.

The classmates who passed by him clicked their tongues in wonder.

"Alex, what's up with your head, have you mended your ways?" Several classmates asked, laughingly placing their arms around Brian Smith's shoulders.

"Maybe." As he spoke, he cast his gaze toward me and smiled gently.

Yes, students should look like students.

Under my approving gaze, he returned to my side.

"How about it, satisfied now, my benefactor?" Brian Smith leaned his head on the desk edge and asked.

Before he could laugh for two seconds, I pulled out a thick pile of high school study materials from the desk and threw it in front of him, speaking seriously.

"Just doing this is far from enough to satisfy me.

This was specially prepared for you, 'Five-Year College Entrance Exam Three-Year Simulation', if you want your grades to improve, you'll need to work hard on the papers.

Pick the ones you can do first, I'll check after class."

Brian Smith looked displeased as he stared at me: "I can pretend well enough, but if you want me to really study, I can't learn a thing, are you just having fun at my expense?"
