She became amazing after the divorce
Natalie Brooks, the young lady of the Brooks family, hid her identity to marry Samuel Morgan for love. The three-year cold marriage ended with a divorce when his first love, Lily, returned. Natalie left proudly, returning to her home, the most powerful Brooks family in New York, with her four talented brothers.
Natalie gradually transformed into a strong businesswoman. Samuel was surprised because Natalie was completely different from the image of the weak wife she had been before. He began to waver, remembering the years of living together, but was still surrounded by Lily's weak pretense.
Although Natalie was divorced, she still had lingering feelings, but she chose to strongly confront him, determined to prove her worth. From here, she continuously confronted Samuel and Lily, both to regain what she had lost and to force them to regret ever looking down on her. Meanwhile, Lily always played the role of the "weak girl", taking advantage of Samuel's pity, but she increasingly revealed her jealousy and hypocrisy. Natalie's brothers – especially Nathaniel Brooks and Henry Brooks – were fiercely protective of their sister and wanted Samuel to repent for what he had done to Natalie.

Chapter 2
The autumn wind was not too cold; the wind from the open roof blew in, making people sober.
Natalie looked at the divorce papers in her hand, feeling that her three-year marriage with Samuel was nothing more than a joke. Now that it was finally over, perhaps she and Samuel were somewhat relieved. She calmly stuffed the divorce papers into the pocket of the car, she said listlessly.
"Why do you have time to pick me up?"
Henry Brooks raised his eyebrows, pretending to be sad: "We haven't seen each other for three years, don't you miss me? I still come to pick you up, so sad."
"Stop it." Natalie completely disliked his antics, annoyedly saying, "We haven't seen each other for three years, so who did I talk to two months ago? A ghost?"
While waiting for the traffic light, Henry turned his head to look at her with a rare serious expression: "But I want to see the real you."
Natalie was a little stunned. The atmosphere in the car instantly became gloomy.
Henry sighed, patted the steering wheel, and his expression returned to a mischievous, humorous look: "This new car is what I bought for you; it's a limited edition. What do you think? Is it beautiful? Do you like it?"
Natalie glanced at the car that was as flashy as any other car, a little amused: "Third brother, are you sure you bought this car for me?"
Henry said without hesitation: "Of course."
Natalie raised her eyebrows: "It's okay, give me the key when you get home."
"Um..." Henry spoke unclearly, hesitating: "I usually treat you well, we are family, blood brothers, everything we have is yours, so you will definitely let us use it for the right purpose, right?"
Saying so much was really unwilling.
Natalie rolled her eyes: "Are you using the name of your brother to blackmail me again?"
Henry was exposed, smiling flatteringly: "Don't tell Big Brother, I'll take you to watch the F1 World Championship live one day."
"Do you think Big Brother really doesn't know?" Natalie was both angry and flabbergasted. In recent years, Henry often asked his family for things with her name on them, and every time he told her to give them to him, she never received them. Did he really think his family didn't know?
He was just deceiving himself.
The scenery in his hometown was still as beautiful as a painting. Natalie, who hadn't been back for three years, felt a little shy at home, looking at the magnificent porch of the Brooks house; she hesitated a little.
Henry parked the car and walked over, saying softly, "The family is waiting for you, come in."
Natalie pursed her lips. After thinking for a long time, she took a deep breath and walked up the stairs.
"Welcome home, little princess."
As soon as she stepped through the door, a "bang" suddenly sounded. The ribbon fell from the top of her head, a crowd rushed out from the corner of the room, and cheers filled the sky.
The whole scene was both respectful and passionate.
Natalie: "..."
"Are you back?" A deep voice sounded from the side. The man's face was handsome, with sharp edges. He was wearing a gray casual suit, which could hardly conceal his noble, majestic, and calm demeanor.
Natalie's eyes were red; she hurriedly ran to hug the man, choking up and saying, "Big brother, I miss you so much."
Nathaniel Brooks sighed helplessly, patting her head: "It's okay, you don't have to be afraid of anything when you're home."
"I don't see you treating me like this, little girl, you're too kind." Henry pouted, his tone a little sour.
Natalie looked up at Nathaniel from Nathaniel's arms. She raised her chin towards the servants holding banners beside her: "You filmed the scene in middle school."
"Of course." Henry nodded triumphantly: "How is it, aren't you touched?"
Knowing that he wanted to make her happy, Natalie didn't care, following Nathaniel inside.
"Mom and Dad aren't back yet, but I'm happy to hear that you and Samuel are divorced," Nathaniel said softly, "Your second brother is filming, and Gabriel is on break from training. I'll help you organize a welcoming party tomorrow."
"Big brother." Natalie grabbed his sleeve, pouting: "Can I not reveal my identity?"
"You are the jewel of New York, why..." Seeing her gaze, Nathaniel suddenly stopped, sighed: "Do you still remember Samuel?"
"No." Natalie lowered her eyes. She said in a low voice: "I just want to rely on myself."
The Brooks family, the largest family in New York, the four young masters who are all outstanding people; each of them is a leader in their profession. Of course, the youngest daughter will not fall behind. It's just that she grew up abroad. Three years ago, when she returned, she was stubborn, concealed her identity, and married Samuel for love.
They didn't agree to the marriage from the beginning, but Natalie persisted, and because she wasn't by their side since childhood, the Brooks family felt guilty and couldn't stop her, so they agreed. It's not too late to wake up now.
"As long as you like it, Samuel has treated you badly for so many years; I will help you get it back."
"I'll do it myself."
The outcome between her and Samuel needs to be resolved by her.
She hasn't been back for several years. The house has not changed at all, it's neat and clean, the wardrobe is full of all kinds of clothes, all famous brands.
All was prepared by her brothers.
Natalie likes this warm feeling, a strange feeling.
When she came out of the bathroom, she heard the phone on the bed ringing; the caller was Zoe Murphy.
As soon as she picked up the phone, an excited female voice rang out: "Natalie, I heard your brother say you're divorced, is that true?"
Zoe spoke very quickly.
Natalie held the phone away from her ear, reluctantly nodding: "Yes."
"Then Samuel is just a bastard, don't be sad about him." Zoe comforted her, waving her hand, looking arrogant: "You are rich, powerful, and beautiful. What kind of man do you want? Nebula Nightclub is still the city that never sleeps. I will hold a party. Let me pick you up. I will give you a group of handsome guys to choose from."
They haven't seen each other for three years, and her best friend really hasn't changed at all.
Natalie told her that she didn't want to reveal her identity for the time being and said, "Don't worry, I really understand this time."
At first, she loved so deeply that she was willing to give up her status as a noble lady for Samuel, but now she definitely won't be able to let go.
Zoe changed the subject: "In three days, there will be an auction at Nebula Nightclub. I heard they bought a lot of new things this time. Do you want to go?"
"I don't..."
"Natalie, I haven't seen you for three years. If you refuse now, you're too heartless."
Zoe stopped her refusal first.
Natalie didn't know what else to say, just take it as a consolation, she nodded: "Okay."
-
Three days later, at Brooks' house.
"Natalie, let me take a quick look, tsk tsk tsk, you're indeed the precious gem of our family. After not seeing you for several years, you're even more beautiful, to this extent, that bastard Samuel really has no eyes." Zoe and Natalie's brothers hugged Natalie tightly. She patted her chest and promised: "Don't worry, you're back, I'm here, I'll find you any man you want..."
Just as she was speaking, a light cough sounded behind her.
Zoe's words suddenly stopped, she stiffened and turned around, looked at the person who had just arrived, and smiled and greeted: "Big Brother."
The Murphy family and the Brooks family were very close. Zoe was younger than him and always called him that.
Nathaniel softly "ummed" a sound, his hand holding his vest and walking towards the car on the side of the road: "Let's go."
"Huh? No." Zoe was stunned and asked Natalie in a low voice: "He's not going to go to the Nebula nightclub, is he?"

I stood in front of New York City Hall in my vintage lace wedding dress, my heart pounding with a nervous joy. I was minutes away from marrying Bradford Sterling, a move I thought would finally help me reclaim my mother’s legacy from my family’s crumbling empire.
But as I reached for his arm, he flinched. A black Lincoln Navigator screeched to the curb, and his mother, Victoria, stepped out, slamming a restructuring document against his chest. She didn't even look at me as she delivered the killing blow: my sister, Eden, had just seized every cent of my voting rights and family trust.
"Marrying her is a net negative yield," Victoria said coldly. Bradford didn't fight for me; he didn't even blink. He simply pushed my hand away and adjusted his tie as if I were a junk bond he was ready to offload. Seconds later, my sister Eden arrived in a red Ferrari, wearing her own bridal gown, and stepped into my place by his side.
I was standing on the pavement, humiliated in front of a crowd, while the man I loved for three years treated me like a failed transaction. My sister laughed in my face, calling me a "liability" while she stole my wedding and my life. The grief was instant, but the rage that followed was a white-hot rupture in my chest.
I didn't just walk away; I slapped the life out of Bradford and dove into the first black SUV I saw, desperate to escape. I didn't check the plates, and I didn't see the man in the wheelchair sitting in the shadows of the backseat.
I had just "carjacked" Jefferson Montgomery, the most dangerous billionaire in the city. To save him from a parole violation during a sudden police raid, I agreed to a fake marriage that very night. They wanted to treat me like a negative asset? Fine. They have no idea that they just handed a world-class hacker the keys to the Montgomery fortune, and I’m going to liquidate them all.

I stood in the shadows of the hospital, watching my wife kiss another man while my grandmother lay dying upstairs.
Just minutes ago, Erlene had snapped at me over the phone, calling me a "needy child" and claiming she was stuck at a business meeting across town. Now, she was stepping out of a red Porsche in a designer dress, wrapped in the arms of Andrew Hanson, the man who was supposed to be her "sick friend."
"I'm not going up," Erlene said coldly when I confronted her in the rain. "I don't like watching people die. It's depressing. Tell her I came by." She looked at my soaked, cheap hoodie and my scuffed sneakers with pure disgust before turning her back on me to return to her lover’s side.
I had to go back to the ICU alone and lie to my grandmother with her final breath, telling her Erlene was waiting just outside the door. As the heart monitor flatlined at 2:14 AM, my phone buzzed with a call from my mother-in-law, who screamed that I was a "worthless loser" and demanded I sign divorce papers immediately so her daughter could finally be with a "real man."
For three years, I lived as a ghost, a poor driver who endured their insults and hid my true identity just to have a simple life with the woman I loved. I sacrificed my future for a family that treated me like a stray dog, only for them to spit on me while I held my grandmother’s cold hand.
Why did I stay in the shadows for so long? Why did I let these people believe they could crush me under their expensive heels?
I walked out of that hospital and threw my thick, black glasses onto the wet asphalt, watching a delivery truck grind them into dust. I didn't need the disguise anymore. I drove my rusted Honda to the towering iron gates of the George Estate, where the security team dropped their batons and snapped into a terrified salute. My father was waiting on the marble steps, but I wasn't there for a peaceful reunion. I was there to reclaim my inheritance and make sure Erlene realized exactly what she had thrown away.
