Elara lived in fear as a forgotten omega. Her life shattered when Alpha Justin, her fated mate, formally rejected her and left her for dead in a lonely, boring world. But fortunately for Elara, betrayal only gave way for a rare, ancient power within her.
Barely alive, Elara was found by Alpha Fenris Stone, the dark, powerful leader of the Shadowood Pack. Under his watchful eye, her wounds healed, and a threatening power tied to the Moon Goddess exploded. Elara is reborn, transforming into the prophesied Queen Luna.
Now, she must return to confront the Alpha who wronged her, reclaim her destiny, and embrace the fierce love of the warrior who saw her true strength.
Rise & Reign Of The Forsaken Luna Chapter 1
"I, Alpha Justin Blackwood, formally reject you. I reject your bond."Justin marched forward, breathing with anger. "I reject your existence as my mate."
It was not just his voice I heard. But the tension.
The cold of Oakhaven's woods always found its way into my bones, even inside the Moonstone Pack House. It wasn't just the damp Pacific Northwest air. It was the constant presence of fear.
I was just myself-Elara Vance, a twenty-two-year-old omega, and my life was a study in invisibility. Small, quiet, I moved through the pack house like a ghost, hoping no one would notice, no one would bother.
My oversized, worn clothes were less about comfort and more about mere covering. They hid my small frame and made me blend into the faded wallpaper.
It was safer that way.
Every sudden noise, every raised voice, sent a jolt of terror through me, a familiar flinch I couldn't control.
Even my aunt considered me as a worthless Omega.
Today, the fear was a living thing, a predator in my mind. Alpha Justin Blackwood had announced the compulsory Mating Ceremony afterwards. He was with authority and something colder, heavier, and hung over everyone.
Alpha Justin.
His name alone sent shivers down my spine. Thick black hair, sharp pale blue eyes that missed nothing, a lean, powerful build. He moved with a scent of dominance that made every wolf bow. He treasured power.
Everyone else was a tool.
I heard wolves discussing the ceremony in hushed tones. "Who do you think he'll choose?" a young wolf female asked, her voice filled with excitement.
"Someone strong, surely," another replied. "Someone who can truly lead. Lyra Thorne, perhaps?"
Lyra.
Lyra Thorne was the Alpha's daughter. Flawless blonde hair, sharp, calculating blue eyes, always in expensive pack clothes. Vain, wicked, and very jealous. She believed she deserved to be Luna. She was always trying to undermine others. Especially me, though I tried so hard to be unseen.
I walked past a group of wolves, the females, heading for the kitchen.
Maybe I could grab a stale piece of bread, then disappear into my tiny, dusty room in the omega quarters.
Just survive.
That was my only goal. Survive today. Survive the ceremony.
A voice, sharp just a wolf's, made a breaking noise in the silence. "Elara! Where do you think to?"
My shoulders tensed.
It was Britta, a Beta's daughter, always eager to assert her voice. I turned slowly, my eyes still downcast. "Nowhere important, Britta. Just... to my room."
"Oh? Avoiding the ceremony?" Her voice was laced with a mocking sweetness. "Everyone is required. Even omegas." She stepped closer, her scent-sharp and dominant-holding my nose. "Unless you're planning something?"
My heart pounded. "No, Britta. Of course not. I wouldn't. I'm just... I'm getting ready." My voice was a whisper, as always.
"Getting ready?" She laughed, a brittle sound. "For what? To be rejected by everyone, as usual?" Her words were a familiar blow, but they still stung. "Don't bother trying to hide, Elara. We all know you'll be there. Justin will make sure of it." She leaned in, her voice dropping. "It's a requirement to have all pack members present. Especially the unwanted ones. It makes his power feel stronger."
I flinched. Britta's smirk widened. She walked past, leaving me trembling. Everyone knew. This ceremony was a spectacle. A show of power for Justin. And a ritual humiliation for me.
I didn't really know how I reached my room that fast. There was no lock on my door anyway. My room was bare-a thin mattress on the floor, a single shelf holding my worn clothes. It offered no comfort, no escape.
I was on the floor. The memory of past rejections, small ones, but each a cut, flooded my mind.
No one wanted an omega.
No one wanted me. But this. This was different. This was the Alpha. His rejection would be public. Formal. It would be a final tearing of my already tattered soul.
I thought about the mate bond. Other wolves talked about it with reverence, with yearning. The pull, the fated connection. For me, it was just another source of dread. What if I felt it? What if he felt it? And what if it was Justin? The mere thought made me shiver. He was a force of nature, a terrifying storm. His ambition was cold, his control absolute. He saw mate bonds as a weakness unless they served his power.
Hours later, the pack house began to hum with activity. Wolves dressed in their finest attire moved through the halls. I could hear their excited chatter, their laughter. It was almost time. I pulled on the cleanest, least stained of my oversized clothes - a faded grey tunic and worn trousers. I wished I could disappear and become truly invisible.
Then, I rushed to the great hall, my heart a repeated drum beats against my ribs. The air was thick with the scents of many wolves: pride, excitement, meaning nervous hope from the un-mated.
My own scent, usually muted, felt like it was voicing out my fear.
The hall was already crowded. Wolves stood in neat rows, waiting. I made sure I was hiding.
"Just make sure you get through this." I muttered to myself. Just survive."
A hush fell over the hall. Alpha Justin Blackwood entered, his powerful presence silencing every whisper. He moved with majestic steps as his features glowed. His white ceremony tunic seemed to amplify his authority. He truly embodied power. Lyra Thorne stood beside him, preening, her blonde hair perfectly styled, her blue eyes sharp with self-importance. She looked like a Luna already.
Justin took his place on a raised dais. The air grew heavy, almost suffocating. He began to speak, his voice deep, resonating through the hall. "Tonight, we honour our traditions. Tonight, fated bonds will be revealed. New paths will be forged. The Moonstone Pack grows stronger with each connection."
I pressed myself further into the shadows.
My head was raised, my grey eyes wide with disbelief.
The mate bond.
It was impossible. Unthinkable.
My breath hitched.
The pull was drawing me, guiding my gaze through the crowd, past rows of anxious wolves, and eager warriors.
It led me straight to the dais. To him.
Alpha Justin.
His head turned slowly, his pale blue eyes, initially surprised, now fixed on me.
Whispers erupted, loud and shocked. "An omega?"No!"It can't be!"
My entire body trembled. Hope, fleeting and foolish, died a brutal death. My worst fear had come true.
He was my fated mate. And he looked at me like I was something
I recalled.
And I flinched.
Then, with eagerness, Justin drew a small, glowing object from his belt. And he got me shocked...
A smooth dagger.

It was her hair that fascinated him. The reddish-brown mass was parted high to one side, windswept almost. And then there was her make-up, neutral save for the liner around her eyes and the bold lip colour... was that purple?
His gaze narrowed over it and she must have sensed his attention, her eyes flickering in his direction. "You know, it's rude to stare."
Her voice was husky, a crisp edge that rasped along his spine and sealed her appeal. Derek was hooked. Her eyes were back on the doors, her lack of interest obvious.
He should've taken it as a sign, but since when had he backed off from anything he fancied?

"What do you think people would say if they found out you don't have a dick?" Christian asked, his voice low and dripping with seduction. His hand pressed firmly against my crotch, fingers exploring the flat, unfamiliar emptiness there. A devilish smirk curved his lips. "Or if they discovered these voluptuous breasts you've been hiding so well?"
A strangled moan slipped from my throat as his hand slid under my shirt, his fingers brushing over my hardened nipples, teasing them with slow, deliberate strokes.
"Which do you think they'd call you?" he murmured, eyes gleaming. "A boy with tits... or a dickless little fraud?"
I stared into his hungry blue eyes, words failing me.
"The term you're looking for is 'girl,'" came Xavier's smooth voice from the bathroom doorway. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click, his gaze raking over me with open interest. "So tell me, little girl... what the hell is someone like you doing in an all-boys dorm?"
Christian's smirk widened. "She wants to be devoured by boys like us." His fingers gave my nipple one last firm pinch before he leaned in closer, breath hot against my ear. "And I'll be more than happy to give her a taste."

I was the Luna of the Black Moon pack, happily carrying the Alpha's heir and believing in our Fated Mate bond.
But on a romantic getaway to the mountains, my beloved mate Ryker suddenly pushed me off a cliff.
As I dangled over the abyss, pleading for help, he just sneered and crushed my fingers under his heavy boot.
"Such a shame, my dear Luna."
I survived the plunge but lost my baby in a pool of my own blood.
Lying half-dead in the dark forest, I heard Ryker and his Beta confirming my "accidental" death.
He hadn't just cheated on me. He had orchestrated my murder to officially welcome his Chosen Mate.
He traded my life and our unborn pup for a piece of territory, disgusted by my mother's healing bloodline.
I couldn't understand how the sacred bond of the Moon Goddess could be so easily discarded, or how a father could butcher his own flesh and blood for power.
My love and grief were instantly replaced by a burning, venomous rage.
Fortunately, the legendary Alpha King passed by and saved me from the woods.
Hidden away in an ancestral sanctuary, I opened my laptop and sent a message to a mysterious ally.
"I need to get my revenge."
This time, I was going to make them pay in blood.

For three years, nineteen-year-old Ella Campbell rotted in a freezing psychiatric isolation room.
Her billionaire family didn't visit her once, only pulling her out today to force her to publicly apologize to Ashlyn, the perfect sister who had framed her.
At Ashlyn's glamorous engagement gala, Ella was treated worse than a stray dog and forced to watch her childhood sweetheart propose to her sister.
When Ella showed no jealousy, her brother Ivan dragged her onto a dark balcony and nearly choked her to death.
Her mother didn't even check if Ella was breathing, merely ordering a makeup artist to paint thick concealer over the dark purple handprints on Ella's neck so the family's stock price wouldn't drop.
Standing under the blinding stage lights in a shapeless gray dress, facing three hundred mocking Wall Street executives, Ella was supposed to be the broken, obedient psycho the Campbells needed.
"I am deeply sorry for the pain I caused."
She was supposed to end the apology there and bow to her abusers, but Ella didn't shed a single tear.
"My only regret is that I didn't insist on waiting for the police to arrive that night. I deeply regret that I didn't demand a full, legal toxicology report to prove to everyone exactly what happened."
As the ballroom erupted into suspicious whispers and her paralyzed twin brother finally saw the violent bruises hidden beneath her makeup, Ella's counterattack against the Campbell family officially began.

Ina Holman, heiress to a failing real estate empire, was forced to attend a high-stakes matchmaking meeting to secure a financial lifeline for her family.
But the drink she was handed was secretly spiked. Desperate to avoid a public scandal that would ruin her father, she fled into a VIP elevator, only to fall directly into the arms of Buren Warner—the most ruthless billionaire predator on Wall Street.
After a blurred, chaotic night, the nightmare truly began.
A fabricated scandal of her hotel rendezvous hit the front pages. Her father slapped her across the face, using the disgrace as an excuse to freeze her accounts and kick her out onto the streets, legally severing her from the family trust before declaring bankruptcy.
Even worse, her twin sister was killed in a sudden estate explosion.
And the final, crushing blow? Ina discovered that her ex-boyfriend, Faron, the man supposed to save her family, was secretly gay. He and her best friend had orchestrated the drugging to destroy Ina's reputation, allowing Faron to break their alliance and keep his inheritance without suspicion.
Stripped of her home, her family, and her dignity, Ina screamed in agony on the freezing streets.
Her own father had murdered her sister for a fifty-million-dollar insurance payout and sacrificed Ina to hide his assets. The people she trusted most had conspired to ruin her life just for their own selfish greed.
Driven into a corner with absolutely nothing left to lose, Ina stared at the cold, calculating billionaire who had tracked her down to an abandoned cliffside estate.
"Marry me, and I will give you the power to destroy them all."
To avenge her sister and crush the people who betrayed her, Ina signed her soul to the devil.
