Chapter 2
ELENA POV
I knew I shouldn't trust her. But at that moment... I didn't care.
'I want to live.' I said to myself.
Dominic's voice echoed behind me. "You are lucky Sir Leonardo wants to save you. Take her to his car."
The Gamma's grip wasn't tightened on my arm. That was it! My only chance to escape. I looked around and no one was looking at me anymore. They all concentrated on the party like what was happening to me was nothing to them.
I twisted suddenly and slammed my elbow into his chest.
He staggered and I ran away.
Gasps erupted behind me. "Catch her!" Dominic's voice thundered.
My bare feet hit the cold floor, then on the gravel. I followed the grass path that will be easier to get out of the mansion.
I didn't stop running. The night air slapped my face, as I ran more than my weak legs could carry me.
I didn't stop for a bit. Branches scratched my skin as I ran blindly into the darkness.
Then..A howl came. My blood froze, I turned.
Wolves! Dozens of them already took the bus path chasing me.
My heart nearly stopped. "No... no... no..." I whispered, forcing my legs to move faster. I tried begging my wolf to come out so I could run faster but she refused.
I turned to the mansion direction and saw Dominic on the top floor. He was watching me with his favorite snipper I bought for him. He uses it to hunt rogues..
Lilliana beside him, she was smiling at me. She already knew I could see from afar.
My chest tightened in betrayal...my family was hunting me like I was a dog.
I turned back and continued running.
Bang! A sharp pain exploded in my leg.
I screamed as I collapsed, my body slamming into the ground.
Warm blood soaked through my skin.
Fear exploded in me, but I just didn't want to die. I was carrying Dominic's child. I don't want to lose my baby. I want to live!!
Tears blurred my vision as I forced myself up, my injured leg trembling violently.
I limped forward, dragging myself toward the red car.
Every step felt like fire tearing through my flesh.
But I kept moving. Telling myself. "Elena, you must live!!"
I reached the car, hands shaking as I unlocked it with the key card.
I fell into the driver's seat and slammed the door shut.
My fingers fumbled with the ignition...
The engine roared to life. I drove out instantly.
The mansion disappeared behind me as the road stretched into darkness.
My breathing was unsteady, my hands soaked with my blood on the steering wheel.
Two white trucks coming at my back, flashed their headlights.
It was right behind me. My heart dropped.
"They are chasing me..."
I pressed harder on the accelerator.
The car sped up very fast. It went too fast. I reached for the brake....it didn't work.
My stomach dropped. I pressed again. Cold flooded into my veins.
"No!!..no... no, no..."
My hands shook as realization hit me like a slap. The brakes were cut.
Lilliana!! This was her plan all along..
A sob tore from my throat. "I'm going to die..."
My vision blurred with tears, but I forced myself to stay conscious.
Think!! Think! What to do?
My hands trembled as I grabbed my phone.
I thought of the person who I broke his heart. I was scared he wouldn't pick.
Cassian The mate I rejected.
I called him. It rang once.
He picked up instantly..
"Uncle..." My voice broke. "I... I can't stop the car. The brakes..they're gone. They're chasing me..."
He was silent.
For a second, I thought..Maybe he wouldn't want to save me.
"Elena, I am already on my way to the mansion..I heard what happened." he said.
My heart shattered. "Why...?" I whispered, tears falling freely now. Why are you coming to save me...after everything I did to you...?"
His voice soft. "Elena, be calm. I am on my way. You only have to drive into my car. I am closer to the mansion. So focus on the road. When you see me just drive into me and Everything will be fine."
I sobbed bitterly. "No...no...I can't let you die to save myself."
My grip tightened on the wheel. The trucks got closer. Their Lights blinded me.
"I am sorry Cassian..." I cried. "I can't let you go down for me."
I caught the call and threw my phone out of the window. I turned the car and crashed into the road rail.
The ringing pain in my head cut deeper than my bullet wound. I noticed I couldn't move my legs..it was struck. While I saw blood gushing out between my legs.
The door suddenly opened and it was the smiling Lilianna.
"You have 9 lives. this bitch!! You are still not dead." she said smiling.
She pulled me out and I laid flat on the floor. I couldn't feel my body anymore.
She bent down, playing with my hair. "Elena, don't blame me for wanting you dead. Not my fault you treated my brother's impotency secretly and got pregnant. I want to be the Luna and ruler of the pack. That's my mission coming back to the Bloodmoon Clan. You have to die for me to rule. I can't accept any new member in the family."
Something inside me broke completely. My chest rose and fell rapidly as panic consumed me. So this was the real reason why I had to die. But I couldn't say a word. My throat was stuck and my voice had disappeared.
She said, with her sweet and innocent voice. "Go to sleep Elena, in your next life avoid the Alvarez family."
The pain was so much and I was losing consciousness.
Suddenly I saw a figure running towards us.
A very familiar figure. It was him!! Uncle Cassian ran in my direction.
I smiled. "He really came for me...."
Lilliana tried to run away as she saw them, but His hungry wolves bounced on her. While I shut my eyes to the darkness......
"""""""
Suddenly, air slammed into my throat again.
I stood up with a scream. "Kill her Uncle Cassian!!!!"
My chest rose and fell wildly as I looked around.

The captain is dead to the world. And I'm the only one holding the kill switch.
Ethan Carter, the "Glacier of Silvercrest," was the most feared Alpha to ever step onto the ice. Now, he's nothing but a shell-a broken, comatose legend trapped in his own body.
My life? It was supposed to be simple. Graduate, survive the pack's bottom-tier status, and pay off my father's ruinous blood-debts. Instead, the pack elders handed me a contract soaked in cold, hard malice: I am the designated "Stabilizer." My only job is to touch him, scent him, and keep his wolf from flatlining.
I thought I was just a glorified nurse. I didn't realize the Alpha was listening.
When Ethan finally wakes, he isn't the hero the Kingdom of Valeria remembers. He's a starving predator with amber eyes that burn holes through my defenses and a temperament that makes the frost in the mansion seem warm. He hates the bargain, he hates the pack, and-most dangerously-he hates the way his scent turns wild whenever I'm near.
He wants me out of his sight. I want to be out of his reach.
But in a pack built on secrets, someone is still trying to finish the job they started on his life. Now, the man who wants me gone is the only one who can protect me. And as the rink turns into a battlefield, I'm realizing the most dangerous thing about the Alpha isn't his temper... it's the fact that once he claims a mate, he doesn't know how to let go.
Frozen hearts are meant to shatter. But in the fire of this pack, we're both going to burn.

A jagged spike of agony woke Kiana up in a filthy stone room.
She had transmigrated into the body of a notorious, exiled matriarch in a brutal wasteland.
Before she could even process her new reality, she saw a massive, bloodied man huddled in the corner, trembling in absolute terror.
Foreign memories detonated in her brain: the original Kiana swinging a spiked whip, laughing as she tore his flesh open.
He was her husband, and she was a monster who tortured her own consorts.
The situation was a complete death trap.
Another husband stormed in, throwing down a marriage contract and demanding to sever their ties, which would leave her to be eaten by mutated beasts.
Outside, her third husband lay dying from a toxic wound while the rest of the tribe mocked her, eagerly waiting for her downfall.
Scanning her own body, Kiana discovered her face was covered in ugly purple bruises.
The original host hadn't just been naturally insane; she had been secretly fed a chronic poison by political enemies, destroying her beauty and driving her mad until she was exiled.
As a survivor from a modern apocalypse, the sight of broken, enslaved men made her skin crawl.
She refused to die in this savage wasteland as a pawn in someone else's twisted game.
Kiana tossed the contract back to the furious man.
"Give me three months. I will save him, and I swear I won't touch you."
With her apocalyptic healing powers and a newly awakened Spatial System, she was going to rewrite the rules of this primitive world.

I thought I had found my savior in Alpha Camron after my adoptive family was brutally slaughtered.
But as I lay chained to the damp dungeon wall, my inner wolf silenced by silver poison, he sneered and rejected me.
"Did you really think I loved you? You were just a dumb, loyal dog."
He confessed that he had orchestrated my family's murder to frame Lycan King Asher.
Blinded by his lies, I had plunged a silver blade into Asher's heart—the only man standing in Camron's way to the throne.
My step-sister Erica then arrived to deliver the final, crushing blows.
"He was your true fated mate, Ella," she whispered with sadistic glee. "He loved you so much he retracted his aura, leaving himself defenseless so you wouldn't get hurt killing him."
Worse, she laughed at my swollen belly, revealing the baby I carried wasn't Camron's. He had paid a filthy Rogue to defile me in the dark.
The man I murdered was the other half of my soul, and the monster I trusted had destroyed everything I loved.
My heart simply gave out, drowning in an abyss of pure agony and hatred.
Opening my eyes again, the stench of burning flesh was gone.
I was back in my attic bedroom on my fifteenth birthday.
Today was the day my evil stepmother would start her deadly plot.
This time, I would tear them all apart.

Alaia Dudley spent her life playing the devoted partner, completely unaware that her fiancé Austen was sleeping with another woman.
She thought the worst he could do was break her heart, until she found herself pinned to a cold operating table.
Austen held her down with a cruel smirk while a scalpel sliced through her sternum.
They cracked her chest open while she was still fully conscious.
The agonizing pain of her heart being cut out burned into her nerve endings.
She realized then that to him, she was never a lover—just a spare organ, a boring piece of wood to be discarded the second his true love needed it.
She died in excruciating agony, choking on her own blood while the man she loved walked away with her heart.
Until her last breath, she didn't understand why she had to suffer so brutally.
Why did she waste her life begging for a monster's attention? Why did they get a happy ending while she was carved up like an animal?
But then, ice-cold water flooded her lungs, and Alaia violently broke the surface of her bathwater.
Her trembling fingers touched her smooth, flawless chest. No scars. Her heart was still beating.
The date on her phone glared back at her: it was exactly five years ago.
Tonight was the exact night Austen first took his mistress to a hotel room.
This time, she wouldn't just expose them. She would use Wall Street's most terrifying tyrant as her personal weapon to strip them of everything they had.
