After that phone call with Shannon, I blocked her specifically before starting my live stream.

In my past life, Shannon had deliberately put on thick layers of cosplay makeup on the day she started trouble, all so no one would be able to recognize her.

"I'm taking a video here! All you poverty-stricken peasants should just shut your traps, especially that damn brat! How can you still laugh? I bet your daddy ran off the day you were born!"

Using my name, she began loudly insulting the mother-daughter duo, even brandishing her phone at them to show my account name.

"Take a good look! I'm the famous YouTuber, Rina, and I have over ten million followers subscribed to my channel! My income from one live stream alone is higher than what you all could possibly earn in your entire life! You think you can afford to pay me back if you disrupt my video?"

Due to her heavy makeup, no one was able to tell we weren't the same person.

The furious mother started arguing with Shannon, and a short while later, Shannon shoved the little girl down the stairs. The poor girl hit her head, causing blood clots in her brain, which then resulted in her going blind.

The girl came from an ordinary family from Bellington, a place notorious for being poverty-stricken. Hence, after the fall, her family had no time to pursue legal action, as they were too busy raising enough money to save her life.

After learning of that fact, Shannon actually headed to the hospital with five thousand dollars. However, she had changed them all into pennies, which she then scattered across the floor before the girl's parents.

"Coming from a family like yours, I'm sure that brat will grow up to be a drug addict or a prostitute. Since she doesn't have a good future anyway, what does it matter whether she's blind or not? You can take this five thousand dollars as me paying compensation!"

Once she had done all this, she sat back and waited for me to return from my work trip. Then, she tricked me into heading to the company early by saying there was a surprise waiting for me.

Yet, the instant I stepped inside the company, the girl's father shoved me down the stairs. I rolled down six entire flights of stairs before stopping, and by then, I wasn't even able to crawl to my feet. At that point, the father, still beyond enraged, stabbed me over a dozen times.

This incident made headlines that same night and became a trending topic online. I lost countless fans in the span of one night as the people cursed me for being a vile, snobbish person who looked down on the poor. They insisted that what happened to me was simply my just deserts.

It was then that Shannon stepped forward, claiming she was my family as she tearfully apologized to the public. Besides that, she promised to give the girl's family a large sum of money for her treatment.

With that, she gained a sterling reputation and successfully inherited my YouTube account. As for me, my reputation was utterly ruined, and nobody came to collect my body from the morgue.

Back in the present, I watched with hatred swirling in my eyes as countless people joined my live stream the instant I started it.

Since I had been given a chance to take revenge, I was certainly going to make full use of it!

Schooling my face into a composed expression, I began talking about what had happened while I was on my work trip. I deliberately mentioned that I hadn't been in the city for a few days and even had the brand manager who'd been hosting me join the live stream, at which point I invited him to my office.

With ten million people as my witness, I couldn't wait to see how Shannon was supposed to impersonate my timeline and identity.

After ending the live stream, I took my sweet time going to the company. However, instead of heading into the office, I went to the security room.

It wasn't long before the girl's family members appeared on the screen of one of the surveillance cameras. The moment they entered the company, they started shouting fiercely, "Who is Rina? Get the hell out here!"

Upon hearing the commotion, Shannon approached them to ask about the situation.

Though she had purposely gone without any makeup today, the girl's father, Blythe Miller, still seized her in a tight grip.

"Honey, is this the woman who caused our daughter to go blind?"

Shannon was so terrified that her voice shook as she vehemently denied, "That's not me! You have the wrong person! I'm Rina's younger sister! What do you want with her?"

By then, the other employees had come over to watch the drama unfold, while a crowd of passersby had gathered at the entrance of the building as well.

Blythe answered in a voice filled with hatred and fury, "That bitch pushed my eight-year-old daughter down the stairs and caused her to go blind, all because of a video!"

Tears streamed down the mother Maria Smith's face as she cried out, "Not only that, but after our daughter was sent to the ICU for emergency rescue, that woman even had the audacity to hunt us down at the hospital and humiliate us further!

"Just because we're poor, does that mean we deserve to be looked down upon and bullied by the rich?"

In an instant, a wave of voices rang out in discussion.

"That can't be right. Rina is usually so nice and friendly. She doesn't seem like that sort of person."

"Don't be fooled. The rich are always pretentious, especially the famous ones. Who knows what really goes on inside her mind? But she's the first celebrity I've seen who's so blatantly snobbish toward the poor. If this explodes online, there's no way she'll be able to continue her career."

Shannon took advantage of the situation and purposely went over to support the weeping Maria.

"Is that little girl doing okay? Do you need our financial aid? How could Rina do this? Once she returns, I'll definitely have her apologize to you!"

However, Blythe grew even more incensed when he heard the crowd's comments. He reached out to grab a fistful of Shannon's hair.

"Apologize? You're her younger sister, so you're definitely not a good person either! Call her right now and tell her to get the hell over here!"
