Chapter 9

Who do you think do it Dad?

Susan’s POV:

The engagement between Ailina and Darren is nothing more than a business deal between both families in the first place.

Hearing Mrs. Moore’s words, George panicked, “Madam Moore…”

“Madam Moore, If we still have another innocent daughter of the Carters, can we still keep the engagement?” I said, interrupting him.

“The Wilson’s still have another daughter?” Madam Moore frowned. Then, she looked at Hallie and said arrogantly, “My son Darren is the only heir of the Moore family and we don’t accept an illegitimate daughter for him.”

I looked at George, but he looked at the old master.

“Dad, please let Hallie marry Darren?” he begged.

As soon as George finished speaking, everyone's attention fell on Old Mater, who was just sitting there listening to our conversation.

However, instead, he looked at Ailina and asked, “Ailina, what do you think?”

“Dad, how can you still ask her opinion. She doesn’t have a right to say anything. If it weren’t for her, would it be like that?” George said angrily.

I also clenched my fists tightly. I didn’t expect that even after things had gone this far, that old master Wilson would still ask for Ailina’s opinion.

‘Shouldn’t he be disappointed at her?’ I thought.

However, Ailina didn’t say anything and just looked at the photos on the table. Seeing her like this, I couldn’t help but feel a little uneasy.

‘Did she find anything?’

However, I quickly shook that thought out of my mind, thinking, Ailina is just a little girl who didn’t know about anything. What’s more, I had to find an expert to do this, she can’t find any clue.

Ailina’s POV:

As I looked at the photos, I couldn’t help but wonder about what happened to me. Although these photos are composites, I did lose my virginity that day. However, Hallie and Susan didn’t know about this. But if they find out about it in the future, I knew that I slept with a call boy, I couldn’t even imagine what they would do.

However, since Hallie wanted to be with Darren, I will certainly fulfill her wish, but it’s not the right time!

I don’t care if Hallie liked Darren and wanted to be with him, because I don’t want him. However, she can’t get him just like that.

First, she had to pay the price for her.

So, even though it was true that I slept with someone, I can’t let them frame me like that.

Seemingly seeing that I didn’t speak, Susan looked at me and said, “Ailina, I know that you must be uncomfortable in your heart now. This not what we wanted to see, but you also have to consider for the Wilson’s and your father’s company.”

Hallie also said weakly, “Sister, I know you love Darren, but you shouldn’t have done this kind of this. How hurtful it is for Darren?”

Darren also laughed at himself, his voice painful and melancholy.

“Ailina, I thought that you loved me, but you did such a thing. How can I marry you, and how did you let me face you? When I am with you in the future, I will always think of those pictures…”

I put those photos back on the table and laughed softly.

Seeing this, Dad was about to slap me, but Grandpa held his hand to stop him, saying, “Let down your hand.”

Dad was so angry that he looked at Grandpa, saying, “Dad, you can’t spoil Ailina like this anymore. Look at what she had become now. Even after doing such a shameless thing, she still laugh like this.”

“Dad, where did these photos came from?” I asked.

“Where? You don’t have a right to ask this question. Sure enough, someone purposefully took these pictures while you were doing such a dirty things and sent them to the Moore’s.” Dad said furiously.

I took out the computer and turned it on.

“What are you doing? Your Grandpa asked you a question. What are you doing with your computer?” Dad asked, gritting his teeth.

However, ignoring his words, I uploaded the photos to the computer, and then quickly tapped on the keyboard.

“Dad, look at her, look at her. You spoil her. She still does these insignificant things when this kind of things happened…”

However, before he could finish speaking, I pushed the computer in front of him.

There are two photos on the computer, one is me standing in the garden, and the other is a photo of a man and a woman on the bed. Their gestures matched the one of the photos just placed on the table. But the protagonists inside were changed. The woman is replaced with a strange woman.

Dad looked at the photo on the laptop for a long time, without saying anything.

“What’s going on?” he asked.

“Such awful technique is too embarrassing to be shown up, Aunt Susan, how much was it to composite a photo?” I asked coldly.

Hearing my question, Susan was shocked and her face turned pale.

After being directly asked by me, she smiled embarrassedly. “I didn’t understand what you’re talking about?”

I curled my lips, pointed at the computer, saying, for a contour at the photo on the computer, saying, “Dad, look. Someone used my face on the photo of me standing in the garden and stuck it on another bed photo. It’s just a computer-composites photo. Look at this photo again. The woman has a mole on her arm, but I didn’t have one on my arm.”

Hearing that Dad frowned.

“This photo of me standing in the garden is my private photo. People outside our home can’t get it. It must have been given by someone, by our family members. So, who do you think it will be, Dad?” I asked again

Hearing that Dad looked up at Susan

She shook her head. “I didn’t do it. How could I do such a thing? I really didn’t…”

He pursed his lips and ignoring Susan, he looked at Madam Moore, saying, “Madam Moore, this is misunderstanding. Ailina hasn’t done this kind of thing. The engagement…”

Madam Moore also changed her attitude. She smiled, held my hand, saying, “Ailina, I just misunderstand you. I always know that you are a good kid.”

Hearing that I didn’t say anything then just smiled lightly.

Madam Moore felt embarrassed. She got up saying, “So, I will go back!”

“Ailina, shows the gusts to the door.” Dad pushed me forward.

With no choice left, I followed them out.
