Oops, I'm His Sister-In-Law Now Chapter 1

I am a law student, and I save Andon Garner from a terrible car accident. The Garners see me as his lifesaver, so they tell me to marry him.

Ten years into our marriage, my heart condition flares up. However, my husband, Andon, pours out the medicine that can save my life.

He scoffs as he watches me struggle in pain and says coldly, "Elise Fulton, go and keep Sasha company."

When I wake up again, it is the day of the car accident once more.

Andon lies in a puddle of blood, and near him, his first love, Sasha Wilson, cries hysterically.

In my last life, I was a law student, and I rescued Andon Garner from a terrible car accident.

Hence, the Garners thought of me as his benefactor and told me to marry him. I gave birth to an adorable son and daughter for Andon.

However, he never let me near the children. He said that it was my punishment because I indirectly killed his first love.

He firmly believed that he had been unable to marry Sasha Wilson because I had rescued him. He thought it was my fault that Sasha had committed suicide in despair.

Therefore, when my heart condition flared up ten years into our marriage, Andon poured out the medicine that would save me and let me die in despair.

When I opened my eyes once more, I was back on the day of Andon's car accident.

This time, I watched Sasha cry hysterically and stepped backward. I chose to call emergency services.

"Quick! It was the young lady in a white skirt who called emergency services!"

As piercing sirens wailed, the paramedics rushed to the scene of the car accident.

Everyone gave me approving looks and complimented me for being calm and decisive.

However, I felt as cold as ice. The feeling of the oxygen being sucked out of me as I suffocated to death felt like yesterday.

At the hospital, the Garners surrounded me. Mrs. Garner Senior was in the lead, and she held my hand tightly.

"It's all thanks to you. You saved Andon, and he owes you his life."

I looked at Andon, who was unconscious on the hospital bed. Then I glanced at Sasha, who was crying beside him. There was nothing but a dead stillness in my heart.

In my past life, I had used all my strength to drag him out of the crumpled driver's seat. I had resuscitated him and had almost died on the spot when exhaustion triggered my heart condition.

However, what had I gotten in return?

Andon had given me the cold shoulder for ten years, and when he poured out the medicine that would have saved my life, he said, "Go and keep Sasha company, Elise Fulton."

"Mrs. Garner Senior, I only did my duty," I said softly, and quietly withdrew my hands.

However, Mrs. Garner Senior made a decision at once. "She is Andon's lucky star. When he wakes up, let them get married."

I did not refuse. However, Andon wasn't my target this time. It was his older brother.

In the chaos, I excused myself to the washroom and slipped out of Andon's hospital room.

I relied on my memories from my past life and walked down the long corridor. I headed to the east wing of Garner Manor, which was the most remote spot in the place.

Andon's older brother lived there. He was the one with real authority in the family, and his name was Seth Garner.

He had a congenital heart condition and spent most of his time resting. He was reclusive by nature and almost never made an appearance.

In my past life, on the day of Andon's car accident, Seth had died in his room because his heart condition had flared up, and no one had been taking care of him.

Due to that, Andon had inherited the entire Garner fortune. What if Andon was no longer the only heir in this life?

I pushed open the heavy wooden door, and a strong, herbal medicinal scent washed over me at once.

Seth was curled up on the carpet. His face was bluish, and his breathing was weak.

There was a flash of surprise in his ink-black eyes when he saw me.

I did not hesitate. I went up to him at once and administered emergency care in a practiced manner.

I had learned this in my past life due to my heart condition.

I sneered inwardly when I saw his complexion gradually gain warmth once more. In this life, I would make Andon watch as I became his sister-in-law.

Early the next morning, I walked out of the east wing. I was a little pale, as I had not slept for the entire night.

I walked over to the entrance of the main wing and bumped into Andon and Sasha.

He was awake, and Sasha was holding on to his arm affectionately. There was a smug look in her eyes.

She was startled when she saw me, but she immediately flashed me a disdainful smile. "Well, if it isn't our benefactor. It's only been a night since we met. Why does your complexion look so terrible?"

She inquired snarkily, "Did you find a new target because you felt that you would never be able to succeed with Andon? You're so efficient, Ms. Fulton. I'd never be able to keep up."

I couldn't be bothered to pay any attention to her. I just wanted to get back quickly so that I could rest.
