Nanny's Corrupting Ways Chapter 1

Elouise was concerned about her young son possibly picking up bad habits, so she decided against allowing him to attend the school's sex education classes. Instead, she hired an older nanny to guide him through his adolescence.

I noticed how Kamari, my nephew, started developing an unusual attachment to the nanny. Alarmed, I acted quickly by enrolling him in educational courses and seeking the help of a psychologist for him. After addressing his misguided perceptions, Kamari excelled in school, married a wonderful woman, and started a family. But on the day I gave birth to my second child, he pushed me off the top floor of the building.

"It's all your fault for meddling in my life and ruining my happiness. Die!" he screamed.

To cover for him, Elouise framed my death as a case of postpartum depression-driven suicide.

Then, I woke up to find myself back on the day the nanny started bottle-feeding him. Seeing Kamari’s eager eyes, I couldn’t help but smile.

...

“Vivienne, the things you taught me the other day, I still don’t quite understand. Could you show me again?” Kamari asked, his eyes fixed oddly on the new nanny, his Adam's apple bobbing.

Blushing, the nanny avoided his gaze and said, “Kamari, I’ve already explained this four times. How do you still not understand?”

Rubbing his palms together awkwardly, Kamari forced a smile, “I promise I’ll get it after today. Auntie, let’s go inside.”

Standing in the kitchen, I recalled the conversations from my previous life echoing in my mind, sending chills down my spine. Previously, I had discovered the nanny secretly teaching my nephew inappropriately, and I quickly put an end to it.

I informed Elouise about the nanny's inappropriate behavior, yet Vivienne defended herself by claiming that her methods were merely educational for Kamari. Shockingly, Elouise believed her lies.

I pleaded earnestly, “Kamari is still in his teenage years. How can you allow him to engage in such activities with the nanny? It’s detrimental to his mental and physical health.”

While Elouise hesitated, the nanny dismissively retorted, “What do you know? I’m guiding him through puberty. Once he’s had enough, he won’t think of doing anything rash.”

I tried to intervene, “Schools cover all the necessary topics. Your intentions are clear to me. You better stay away from Kamari.”

Elouise misunderstood my intentions, thinking I was jealous of the nanny’s relationship with Kamari. She pushed my hand away, saying, “I don’t want Kamari attending school lectures. They’re just young teenagers; discussing these topics with boys and girls in the same room can only lead to more imaginations.”

Seeing that she didn’t appreciate my concerns and treated me as an outsider, I chose to remain silent. Little did I know, Kamari was being led further astray by the nanny. Under her influence, he began stealing family members’ intimate clothing and even purchased hidden cameras to record everyone in the house.

He posted these recordings online for profit. To protect the family, I sternly stopped his actions and dismissed the nanny. I also paid for psychological counseling, guiding him onto a better path and encouraging his academic pursuits.

Eventually, Kamari topped the state in his college entrance exams, graduated from university, became a top executive, and married a beautiful woman, becoming a father to an adorable daughter. He seemed grateful to me.

After I gave birth to my second child at an advanced age, he came to visit me.

“It’s because of your interference that my chance to be with the one I truly loved was taken away. If not for you, I would have married Aunt Vivienne long ago.”

“Wasn’t it great making money by selling the pictures, as she instructed?”

With that, he suddenly pushed me off the building, leaving me a mangled mess on the ground.

After the incident, everyone covered for Kamari. Gracelynn, my mother-in-law, claimed I had postpartum depression and committed suicide. My husband hastily cremated me and remarried within a year. Elouise and her family even went to my grave to curse me.

“You deserved it! Did we ever ask you to intervene? If not for your interference, Kamari wouldn’t have drifted apart from us and been under your control.”

Having learned from past mistakes, I vowed in this life, I would never meddle again. Moreover, I would divorce Ulises, that useless man, as soon as possible.
