Chapter 1

DAMIEN Point Of View

I gulped down the last sip of my drink and grinned at Jason, who was already lost in the music, he was rocking a lady who he met few minutes ago. They were both lost in their own world, and it seems like he is in for a good night.

I leaned back and glanced around The City Nights, one of Italy's most exclusive clubs.

It was well-known for its wild parties, endless drinks, and beautiful people.

The kind of place where you could lose yourself for a few hours, and every so often, it is accurately what I want.

The DJ dropped one of the hottest tracks of the month, and the crowd started screaming, bodies were grinding, arms were raised in the air, and mouths were screaming lyrics they barely even knew. The disco ball spun across the ceiling, scattering rainbow bursts of light that danced over every surface like magic.

Everywhere smelt of sweat, expensive perfume, and alcohol, but it only added to the intoxicating energy that filled the room.

I turned my attention back to the bar and reached out for my glass again, but I didn't get the chance to take another sip.

I felt a soft, manicured hand slide over mine, stopping me mid-motion.

I looked up, and damn...

She was stunning.

Blonde. Legs for days. Sultry, smoky eyes that practically begged to be disobeyed.

Her red dress looked like it had been poured onto her body. It was tight, shimmery, and sinful. She bit her bottom lip slowly as her eyes trailed me from up to down like I was already naked.

"You know," she purred with a voice low and smooth that made my heart race, "it is a crime to sit alone in a place like this when you look that dangerously hot."

I smirked, letting my gaze travel over her.

"Then maybe you should call the cops."

She giggled and stepped closer.

She smelt so nice.

"No need for that," she whispered as she brushed a finger along my jawline.

"I think I would rather handle this kind of crime myself."

I caught her wrist gently and pulled her close in a slow and deliberate manner.

Then, I wrapped her arms around my neck.

Our faces were just inches apart now.

I could feel her breath on me.

"Then punish me," I murmured, brushing my lips lightly against her ear.

"The criminal is all yours."

She grinned and tilted her head.

"Cocky and handsome? You are just asking for trouble."

"And you are trouble worth asking for."

She leaned even closer with her lips a breath away from mine.

"I bet you say that to all the women you have met."

I chuckled as I trailed a finger along her bare shoulder.

"Only the ones who look like they were made to ruin men."

Her eyes sparkled with amusement and desire.

"Room 306," she whispered as she dragged her lips along my cheek.

"I will be waiting."

She pulled away, giving me one last heated look before turning toward the stairs, her hips swaying to the seductive rhythm of the music.

Every step was a silent invitation.

As she disappeared, I hopped off the bar counter and turned to find Jason standing just a few feet away.

His arms were crossed, his expression flat with his jaw tight.

He looked at me like he would just kick a puppy.

I winked at him.

He shook his head.

Righteous Jason.

First person to dive into bed with a stranger, but when I do it, suddenly he is all Mr. Morals.

Honestly, this man needs to stop acting like my personal conscience.

I shrugged off his silent disapproval, and I made my way toward the stairs and stopped in front of Room 306.

I knocked twice.

When the door opened, my mouth parted at the sight before me.

She leaned lazily against the doorframe, now in nothing but red lingerie that looked like it was sewn from sin itself.

Her hair was tousled, her lips parted, and her smirk?

Wicked.

"You are late," she said with a pout.

"I was about to start without you."

"I had to survive the glare of my uptight best friend downstairs."

"Well," she purred, walking her fingers up my chest,

"you are here now. Let's not waste any more time."

I didn't move just yet. I leaned closer, letting my knuckles graze her thigh.

"You always pick up strange men in clubs?" I asked, teasing.

"Only the ones who look like trouble wrapped in a suit," she whispered.

"The ones who I know won't ask for my number after."

I grinned.

"Lucky for you, I'm exactly that kind of trouble."

"Good," she smirked, her fingers tugging on my shirt collar.

"Because I don't do romance. I do chaos. Heat. Lust."

She dragged me in, letting the door swing shut behind us with a soft click.

"I'm going to fuck your brains out tonight," she said boldly, stepping back toward the bed.

I stalked forward, closing the distance between us, letting my breath brush her lips.

"Let's see who ends up blowing whose mind tonight."

Then I kissed her hard.

Her lips were soft, painted red, eager, and warm.

She matched my pace, moaning softly as I lifted her up and walked her to the bed.

Every touch, every kiss, was reckless, hot, and wild.

*******Time Skip********

Later, I pulled up my boxers, grabbed the used condom, and tossed it into the bin without a second thought.

She was already zipping up her dress, turning to me with a playful wink.

"Thanks for the night, handsome. You were amazing."

I gave her a lazy smile. "Thanks for the compliment, sweetheart. But I wish I could say the same about you. I expected more."

She blinked.

"Guess there is no use crying over spilled milk. Better luck next time."

Her jaw dropped slightly.

"You are ridiculous," she snapped, shooting me a glare before stomping toward the door.

Then she slammed it shut.

I smirked at the door, letting out a low chuckle.

Serves you right for leaving these marks on my body.

I sighed as I headed for the bathroom with a towel in hand.

As I wiped the sweat from my hair, my phone buzzed on the counter.

"Esmelrada, My Wife."
