Chapter 3

The continuous punches finally moved away from me.

"What happened, Chief?"

Billy glanced disdainfully at me. "Don't waste any more time on this woman. Boss said Ms. Giselle is missing. Her last appearance was at our casino. Hurry up and gather all the boys to look for her."

I was beaten so hard that my head was dizzy, and I froze upon hearing this.

Micah had been keeping an eye on my whereabouts even after I left, and he even noticed I was gone.

I propped myself up on my trembling arms and got up from the ground as I made a muffled sound with my mouth.

The lackey next to me kicked me and asked, "Shut up!”

“Chief, what should we do with this woman?"

Billy was solemn as if he were lost in thought. "Boss is already on the plane. He is coming to find Ms. Giselle himself. This woman just said she's Ms. Giselle. Well..."

My face immediately lit up with excitement. I thought, 'Great, Micah's coming! He'll not only rescue me but also punish these blind fools for me.'

However, Billy changed the subject. "We can't let Boss see her. He is in a panic right now because he cannot find Ms. Giselle. If this crazy woman jumps out claiming to be Ms. Giselle, she'll offend him, and he'll take his anger out on us."

"Chief, you're really wise. Should we send her away?"

Billy pinched my chin, looked me up and down, and clicked his tongue. "She's not bad looking. Lock her in the confinement room first. After Boss finds Ms. Giselle and leaves, we can train her to be a dealer to pay off her debt."

I shook my head frantically at this, thinking, 'They want me to stay and be a dealer? Wouldn't I be stuck on this island forever?'

However, nobody cared about my opinion. They dragged me away like an animal, heading toward the confinement room.

'No, Micah will be here soon! I must find a way to see him. This is my last chance. If I get locked up, I am doomed!' I anxiously thought.

As the two men threw me into the confinement room and prepared to lock the door, I stumbled to my feet and used all my might to ram open the door, which was not fully closed. Then, I grabbed a steel pipe from the ground and swung it hard at one of the men's heads.

He immediately clutched his head and collapsed to the ground in agony.

Before the other man could overpower me, I struck him across the face with the pipe.

After dealing with these two, my adrenaline surged, and I ran forward at a shocking speed, as if my life depended on it.

The sound of a helicopter rang overhead.

It was Micah! He was here!
