Chapter 2

SABASTIAN'S POV

I opened my eyes slowly, and I could feel my head hurt like hell. I had too much to drink last night. I turned around only to see Ariana laying beside me.

I discovered I was naked, making me furious immediately, as I tapped her hard to wake her up.

"What did you do to me, you whole?" I cursed under my breath, making her gasp as she immediately sat up on the bed.

She couldn't say anything as she just stood there staring at me in awe.

"What did you do to me?" I repeated my question, but she just kept calm and continued staring at me, as I became even more Furious.

"Don't make me more annoyed, just answer me this minute." I barked, and just then she finally opened her mouth to say something but nothing was coming out, so I kept yelling and abusing her.

ARIANA'S POV

I felt like crying my eyes out seeing how he was yelling and abusing me, but I am better now. I won't make him see that I was weak when it comes to him.

I have always tolerated him, and cried in front of him whenever he was abusing me, but not today.

"Let's get a divorce." I finally spoke up, and I could see shock written all over him.

"Yes, that would be best." He said after he finally recovered from the shock, he soon got out of the bed, picking up his clothes from the floor as he left the bedroom.

Tears welled up in my eyes, but I quickly blinked them back in, as I wasn't really to be weak today. He wasn't out of the bedroom yet, so I wouldn't want him to come out and see me crying.

I thought as I finally got dressed, and started packing up my bags. He came out of the bathroom all dressed, and saw my packing up, but said nothing as he left the bedroom finally.

I took my bags as I walked over to the sitting room. "Are you leaving?" Valarie asked me,with a smirk on her face, immediately she saw me with my bags.

"Yes, isn't that what you have always wanted?" I asked her, while she grinned from ear to ear.

"Yes, and I'm so happy that you are finally taking your poor self back to the slum where you belong." She grinned even more, and I just gazed at her.

"Oh, she has finally gotten the writing on the wall, and has decided to go where she belongs." I heard Mrs Sean's voice from behind me, as I quickly turned around to see her walking towards me.

"Yes mum, she pauper girl who had an opportunity to live in a mansion is finally returning to the slum where she belongs." Valarie mocked, while I just remained calm, and stood there.

"This is the best decision you have ever made all your life." Mrs Sean said, while standing right in front of me now, but I just turned over to Sabastian.

"When the divorce papers are ready, send them to my friend's house, because I will be there waiting for them." I spoke up, and with that, and dragged my bags out of the Sean mansion.

I could still hear them cursing at me, and also saying other abusive words, but I completely ignored them, and took a cab which took me to my friend's place.

Samantha welcomed me in, and also showed me to a room where I put my bags. I finally broke down in tears, as I sat on the bed. Samantha tried to console me, but I really just wanted to cry my heart out.

"Come on Ariana you really have to stop crying, he doesn't deserve you, and I'm really happy you have finally decided to leave him." She tried to convince me to stop crying, but I just couldn't.

I opened my mouth to say something, but was choked with tears, making me shut them again.

"Ariana please, you really have to stop this?" Samantha said, as she wiped my tears with her hands.

"You won't understand what I'm going through right now." I finally spoke up, but she kept insisting she understands everything.

"I really love Sabastian so much, and I had never imagined that he was going to treat me this way, for a whole year." I cried, and buried my head in my palm, but she continued trying to console me without giving up.

SABASTIAN'S POV

"This dirty girl is finally out of our life, we need to celebrate it." My mom said, and she walked closer to where I was seated on the couch.

"Yes, I totally agree with you there mum, we should totally celebrate." Valarie added, as I turned to her to see her grinning.

"Get the champagne we need to celebrate this victory." Mum told Valarie who still had a smile on her face, and she quickly nodded and rushed out of the sitting room.

Mum walked up to me on the couch, and had her seat beside me. "Aren't you happy that she has decided to leave this house?" Mum asked from beside me.

"I'm more than happy mum." I quickly responded to her, as I continued working on my laptop which was in front of me.

"Then we need to drink this victory." She said, and I just nodded, while I continued working on the laptop in front of me.

Valarie came back with the champagne and mum requested that I stopped working, and drink with them.

I was actually reluctant at first, but I had to agree when she kept insisting.

I moved my laptop aside, and we start having the champagne, while my mum and Valarie kept ranting about how they had really hated Ariana and had wanted her out of the house, the very moment I brought her home.

I just listened without contributing anything to their conversation as I didn't really feel like saying anything.

After the whole celebration was over I left the house, and went to my lawyer to process the divorce papers, as mum urge me to do so as soon as possible.

It was ready within a few days and I signed it immediately. It was brought by the lawyer.

"So son, you have to send it to Ariana, a lady, immediately." Mum urged me immediately and the lawyer left the house.

"Mum, I know that and I intend to do so, so you don't necessarily have to remind me of what I have to do." I told her, but she wasn't really going to give up.

"You can give me the papers since you have already signed them, I will take them to her myself." Mum offered to help me take it to her, but I didn't want that.

"You don't have to worry about that, I will take it to her myself, and I will make sure she signs them right before my eyes." I told her, making her sighed softly, before I walked out of there.

I knew she was still going to say something else if I don't leave there now, and I really don't want that right now.

Once I arrived at her Ariana friend's house, I took a deep breath as I finally knocked at the door.

The door cracked open revealing Ariana. "Are the divorce papers ready?" She asked immediately as she opened the door.

"Yes, I have already signed it, so just do the same, and let me have it right away." I told her, hoping she would plead, but that didn't happen, instead she stretched her hands to me, while I handed them over to her.

She went in and soon returned with the paper giving them back to me.
