Chapter 1

ARIANA'S POV

A resounding slap landed in my cheeks, immediately I opened my bedroom door. And hot tears welled up in my eyes, but I quickly tried to blink them back.

I held onto the cheek which was now so reddened, as I stared at my attacker.

"How dare you disobey my orders and ask the maid to wash the dishes?" Valarie roared, and I blinked my lashes rapidly, while still staring at her.

I couldn't even think of what to say, as the pain I was feeling in my cheeks was really so much. I never expected her to hit me, in fact I didn't even know she was the one at the door.

"You are ignoring me too, right?" She yelled, and raised her hands to slap me again, but I quickly shut my eyes, bending down in the process.

"No, I'm not ignoring you," I finally spoke up,as I quickly covered my face with both hands, hoping she wouldn't slap me again.

"So why didn't you answer me questions, or do you want me to repeat myself," She barked, while I shook my head negatively immediately.

More tears clouded my eyes and ears, but I kept trying not to release them, as I got ready to respond to her.

"I was actually so tired after doing all the other house chores, and also hungry since I haven't had any food since today," I said and pulsed for a while, as my glance was still fixed on hers, before I continued.

"So I figured I needed some help, and I decided to ask the maid to help me out, so I could rest a bit," I finally concluded my speech, but by now, my tears were now flowing down my cheeks.

"You were tired, so you decided to disobey me right?" She asked, and I started trying to explain to her, and plead with her, but she gave a deaf ears to my pleading.

"We have to go and see my mum immediately," She said, while I continued pleading, because I knew what that meant, if she finally took me to her mother.

"Don't let me tell you this again, just move right now," She said in a commanding tone, but I stood and continued pleading.

She grabbed hold of my hair, noticing I wasn't ready to move, and started pulling me along with her, with tears pouring down my cheeks.

We soon stopped in her mother's bedroom, and I knew immediately that more troubles awaited me, so I had to get prepared for it.

Since there was nothing more I could do right now to save myself from the trouble which awaited me.

She finally opened the door, and pulled me into the bedroom.

"Mum can you believe that Ariana asked the maid to do the dishes when I clearly gave her orders to do it herself?" Valarie spoke up, and her mother didn't bother to ask me why I did it, as she jumped on me, beating me up, while Valarie also joined.

After a while they finally left me, and gave me several warnings. I slowly rose to my feet, with all my body hurting me like hell as I made to walk out of the bedroom.

"I really hope you aren't planning to go to your bedroom again, because you know what will happen if I find out," Valarie warned me, but I just kept calm.

"You don't have to warn her, all you need to do is to confirm that she didn't wash the dishes, then we will have more fun breaking all her bones," Mrs Sean said, while I just sighed and finally opened the door to leave.

"That reminds me," Mrs Sean said, making me stop on my track, as I knew she was about to say something else.

"My son's fiance will be coming over tonight, and they are going to be giving me a grandchild tonight," She pulsed as I was now staring at her.

Honestly I could feel my heart breaking into a thousand pieces, when I heard her saying that.

"So I want you to prepare a bedroom for them, with candles and red roses, I really want this night to be special," She told me, while I just nodded.

"Why are you crying?" Mrs Sean asked in a mockery manner, and just then I realised my tears were already flowing down my cheeks.

"Nothing," I managed to say, as I quickly wiped the tears in my eyes with my palms, as I tried to turn around to leave.

"Why won't she cry when she claims to love my brother?" Valarie mocked me, and they soon started laughing critically.

"So you really think my son will really love someone like you," Mrs Sean mocked, making Valarie's laughter included.

"Mum, allow her to keep dreaming," Valarie mocked and broke into another round of laughter.

I continued wiping the tears from my eyes, which kept coming, no matter how much I had wiped them, as I finally grabbed the door.

"Ma'am, can I go now?" I asked while facing the door, as more tears poured down my cheeks as rain, wetting my dress in the process.

"Yes, get out," She told me, making me finally open the door and walk away.

I sat on the floor outside her bedroom, as more tears poured down my cheeks, as I buried my head in misery.

After a while I made my way to the kitchen, and when I arrived there I saw the maid standing there, and quickly wiped the tears that couldn't stop flowing down my eyes.

"Ma'am Valarie asked me to stop washing the dishes," The maid said immediately she noticed my presence, while I just nodded and told her to leave.

"I'm sorry for not helping you out," She apologised, but I told her it was fine, and asked her to leave.

She quickly bowed and walked away leaving just me in the kitchen.

Once I was done with the dishes, I went to prepare the bedroom just as they had told me.

I couldn't believe that I was actually the one that was preparing a room for my husband and his mistress, it's really so sad.

My tears poured down my cheeks as rain, as I finally returned to my bed. How much harder can my life get?

The man I love so much and had done so much for is bringing his mistress to the house tonight, and I was made to prepare a bedroom for them, where he was going to have sex with her.

Thinking about this more tears poured down my cheeks, as I sat alone on my bed.

Just when I decided to settle down on my bed, the door cracked open again.

I quickly looked over there praying it wouldn't be them coming back to complete what they had started, but I saw Sabastian.

He looked so drunk and immediately he opened the door, he fell down making me forget the pains I was feeling and rushed over to him. Despite how he had hurt me, I still love him so much.

I helped him up, and carried him to the bed. I dropped him and tried to go over to clean myself up, since he puked all over me, but he held my hand to prevent me from moving.

Despite how he had treated me for the past one year we have been married, I still love and care about him so much. And honestly I really wish I could stop caring.

"Do you want anything?" I asked him, but he pulled me to himself instead and I lost my balance and fell on him.

He crushed his lips on mine, making me gasped, as he slowly caressed my body with his hands.

Honestly I wanted to pull away but couldn't as his hands were making me relax even though I never expected it.

For the past year that we had been married, he has never for once had sex with me, and here he was tonight caressing my body like his life depended on it.

I don't understand why my body was responsible for everything he was doing right now, and honestly I wished I could stop myself from doing that, but that's not possible.

He started taking off my dress as I kept calm and allowed him to do as he pleases with me.

He pulled me into the bed after a while, and got on top of me as he continued kissing and caressed my exposed body now.

He proceeded to rip off my panties, as he also took off his clothes, and before I could think of saying anything, he had already spread my thighs, and had buried himself deep inside of me.

He rode me so hard, kissing and cuddling me in the process, as I couldn't help but relax under his touch, as he continued working on my body.

The act took about a few minutes, and once he was done he fell down beside me.

"I love you Ariana," He mouthed, before passing out.

"Did he just say that?" I asked no one in particular, as a smile found its way into my face.

I quickly raised myself up to stare at him sweetly, and I found myself bending over and planting a light kiss on his forehead.

"I love you too," I murmured under my breath, as I stared at his tempting lips.

He doesn't really know how long I have been waiting to hear these words from him, and Tonight I have succeeded in making him say it to me.

All the pains I have been feeling before he came in has suddenly disappeared, and all I could think of right now was nothing more than the passionate sex we both had now.

But somehow what his mother had said about his mistress coming tonight flashed into my head, but I quickly kicked it off, as I wasn't ready to think about it now.

I just had sex with the man I love so much, and I think it is something for me to be happy about. I am so tired after all the hard work I was made to do since this morning.

It was good that at least I ended my day with a sweet moment with the man I had always been in love with, and married for the past one year.

That was more than good enough for me. I thought as I finally shut my eyes, and somehow I felt within me that I might be in trouble by morning, but I really don't care about it right now.

I sighed softly as I finally wrapped my hand around him, and within a few minutes, sleep finally took me off.
