Chapter 4

“S-sir, I… I won’t sit.”

I hesitated, but he still gestured for me to sit down.

So I had no choice. I obediently sat and began reading from the report in my hands.

Because I was nervous, my leg was shaking under the desk, and I accidentally kicked Leo’s solid calf.

“I’m sorry, I-I’ll stand instead.”

I was on the verge of tears.

“Sit down.”

Leo ordered calmly. His voice was deep and magnetic, rich like dark chocolate. My body froze on the chair, completely unable to move.

Then he walked out from behind the desk.

At some point, two buttons at his collar had been undone, revealing a strip of pale chest beneath.

A wave of scent brushed past me.

God. He smelled so good.

My legs suddenly felt weak.

An overwhelming pressure came down from above, pinning me in place. I couldn’t stand up at all.

Leo braced his hands on the armrests, caging me in.

That handsome face leaned in close.

I could barely breathe. My whole body overheated, my face burning like it was about to cook.

I’ve only ever seen men this close in short videos, but never in real life!

Suddenly, he laughed softly.

Was he laughing at me?!

My face felt like it was about to explode. My entire language system shut down.

And then… I actually leaned closer to him!

Staring at his face, my first thought was… I wanted to kiss him.

The moment I realized that, I was shocked by my own boldness. My hands clenched tightly together.

‘Hold it, Hallie.

‘This is your boss. If you really touch him, you’re done.’

I knew the difference between a lifetime reputation and a moment of pleasure.

I really did.

However, my body wouldn’t listen.

This man is way too tempting. I can’t control myself anymore!

My right hand moved on its own and landed on his chest.

His chest was firm, filling out the open collar. It felt perfect to touch.

My mind went completely blank.

What the hell! I actually touched him?

I actually acted on what I was thinking?!

I was a little scared, but… it felt good!

He didn’t stop me, either. His gaze burned as he stared straight at me.

My fingers wandered across his chest, and with one hand, I undid another button.

The flesh beneath my hand was full and springy, rising and falling gently with his breathing.

His skin was slightly cool.

Before long, all the buttons on his upper body were undone.

My hand pressed lightly lower, and he let out a soft hum, unbearably seductive.

That part was hot and firm. Once freed, it felt like it would snap loose all at once.

‘Hallie, what are you thinking?!’

I should’ve stopped, but I couldn’t control my body at all. Face flushed, I prepared to keep going, reaching for his pants.

Leo kept smiling the entire time, indulging me.

Just as I was about to undo them, he stopped me, gathering my hand and pressing it against his chest.

“Missy, are you… trying to use your position on me?” Leo chuckled softly.

My thoughts floated and sank. I couldn’t quite process what he meant.

He guided my hand closer to his heart.

I felt a heartbeat, but I couldn’t tell if it was his or mine.

His shirt tightened because of the movement.

So big… So white…

The shirt I meant.

I really needed to leave.

I was starting to get wet.

Just as I was about to start taking off my own clothes…

My awareness snapped back. My eyes cleared instantly.

‘Hallie! Are you insane?!

‘You’re molesting your boss!’

I yanked my hand back and stared at Leo in shock.

Leo raised both hands, eyebrows lifted, looking almost innocent.

Scumbag! What’s the use of being handsome?! This is harassment!

I pushed him away without mercy, slapped the report onto the desk, and fled without even saying goodbye.

Only after the door closed did I finally let out a long breath.

That was close, way too close! I almost lost control!

This really isn’t my fault. He was the one seducing me!

Me, a mafia principessa, almost getting sexually baited by a mid-level boss?!

It’s all his fault! Why come to work dressed like that, with a body like that?

I ran back to my desk, my thoughts colliding wildly.

Only when my hands touched the cold surface did I realize how hot my entire body was. The moment I closed my eyes, all I could see was that man’s sexy body.

I shivered.

This wasn’t right!

I’ve always had the desire but never the nerve. So why did I completely lose control the moment I faced him?

Something felt wrong. I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
