Live Stream Death Game:beyond humanity

Millions watch as a group of strangers awaken inside a living structure, their memories erased and the walls pulsing like a heartbeat. A mysterious livestream system thrusts them into brutal psychological death games where fear itself is weaponized. At first, survival means obeying rules and passing trials. But the deeper they descend, the more reality unravels. Memories vanish, emotions bleed between minds, and the system begins synchronizing their thoughts, fears, and identities. Then the horrifying truth surfaces: the system isn't trying to kill humanity—it's trying to evolve it beyond individuality itself. Now the players face an impossible choice: die as humans, or survive as something else entirely. Survival is not enough. Remaining human is.

Chapter 2

The first vote came faster than Aria expected far too fast for her to process what was happening

The countdown had barely reached 00:54:00 when the screen inside her chamber flickered again, its red glow intensifying as a new overlay spread across it.

LIVE VOTING ACTIVE

Beneath it, a list of names appeared.

All of them.

Every participant trapped inside The Stream.

Aria's name sat near the top not because she was safe, but because she was already drawing attention. Too much attention.

Her chest tightened painfully as her eyes locked onto it.

"This is insane..." she whispered, though the words came out weaker this time, stripped of their earlier defiance.

The system didn't respond.

It didn't need to.

Because the real answers weren't coming from the voice anymore they were coming from the world outside.

Through the glass, she could see other participants reacting in real time. Some collapsed into tears, their bodies shaking as they begged invisible viewers for mercy. Others shouted desperately, their voices hoarse with panic.

One man slammed both hands against his barrier, his voice breaking as he yelled, "Please! I have a daughter! Don't vote me out!"

But the screen didn't care.

It continued glowing, cold and indifferent.

Then the first results began to appear.

ELIMINATION COUNTDOWN INITIATED

A sharp mechanical sound echoed through every chamber.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Each sound landed like a hammer against Aria's nerves.

She backed away slowly, her breathing uneven as dread crept up her spine. "No... no, no, no..."

Nearby, a girl collapsed to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably, while another participant screamed until her voice cracked into silence.

The system spoke again, its tone unchanged.

"Participant ranked lowest will be removed from The Stream."

Aria's fingers curled tightly into her palms.

Removed.

Not eliminated.

Removed.

Like they weren't people at all.

Her gaze shifted instinctively to the masked man across from her chamber.

PLAYER 001 CLASSIFIED

He was still watching her.

Still calm.

Too calm.

It was as if none of this surprised him like he had already seen how this would end.

A spark of anger cut through her fear.

"What is this?" she shouted suddenly, stepping forward and pressing her hand against the glass. "Who are you people? Why are you doing this?!"

For the first time, he moved closer.

Slowly. Deliberately.

He tilted his head slightly, studying her reaction with unsettling focus before finally answering.

"Because they watch."

Aria froze, her brows pulling together. "That's not an answer."

"It is," he replied quietly. "Just not one you like."

Her throat tightened at the simplicity of it.

Across the system interface, the vote counters began to rise beside each name. Numbers flickered rapidly, climbing higher with every passing second.

Lives were being measured in real time.

Then she saw hers.

VOTES: 12,481

Her stomach dropped.

"What...?" she breathed.

The number jumped again.

13,900... 15,210... 18,002...

Aria stumbled back, shaking her head as panic clawed at her chest. "They don't even know me... why would they"

A comment flashed across the screen:

She looks like she'd break fast.

Another followed immediately:

I like her fear. Keep her longer.

The words hit harder than anything else.

This wasn't just survival.

This was performance.

Aria turned away from the screen, her body trembling as nausea twisted in her stomach.

Then a sound behind her cut through everything.

A soft metallic shift.

Her chamber wall flickered not the screen, but the structure itself.

Aria turned sharply.

Across from her, Player 001 had moved even closer to his barrier, and something about the space between them felt... different.

A faint crackle of energy ran through the glass.

Like the system itself was reacting to him.

Or listening.

He lifted his hand again and pressed it against the barrier.

And then something impossible happened.

The glass between them dimmed not completely, but enough that the distance no longer felt absolute.

Aria's breath caught.

"What are you doing?" she whispered.

He didn't answer immediately.

Instead, his gaze lowered slightly, as if he were recalling something distant-something painful.

Then he spoke.

"They're watching you wrong."

Aria frowned, confusion cutting through her fear. "What does that even mean?"

He leaned closer, his voice dropping to something quieter. Sharper.

"It means you don't belong in the category they placed you in."

Her pulse stuttered.

"You don't know anything about me."

A brief pause followed.

Then

"I know enough."

The screen above them flickered violently.

SYSTEM NOTICE: INTERFERENCE DETECTED

A loud alarm blared through the chamber, making Aria flinch.

"What did you do?" she demanded, her voice sharper now.

But he didn't step back.

Instead, he turned his head slightly-just enough for her to catch a glimpse beneath the edge of his mask.

Not skin.

Something else.

Another layer.

Like he wasn't just hiding his face...

He was hiding something far more complex.

Aria's breath trembled.

"You're one of them," she said slowly. "A controller?"

Silence stretched between them.

Then he answered.

"No."

The alarm intensified.

WARNING: UNAUTHORIZED CONTACT

Red lights began flashing violently across the chamber.

Aria instinctively stepped back, but her eyes never left him.

"Then what are you?" she pressed.

For the first time, something shifted in his voice.

A crack.

Small but real.

"I'm what happens when the game remembers you."

The words struck deeper than she expected, sending a chill through her chest.

Before she could respond, a scream tore through the chambers.

Aria whipped around.

A boy his chamber glowing red.

His screen flashed:

ELIMINATION CONFIRMED

The floor beneath him opened without warning.

No hesitation.

No mercy.

He dropped.

Gone.

Just like that.

Aria staggered back, her hands shaking violently. "No..." she whispered.

Behind her, the masked man's voice softened.

"Now you understand."

She turned to him, her eyes burning. "Understand what?"

He met her gaze directly.

And this time, his voice wasn't calm.

It was urgent.

"Survive the audience... or become their favorite mistake."

The countdown ticked down to 00:49:33.

And somewhere beyond the walls of the chambers...

The votes for Aria Vale were still rising.
