Chapter 3

Let's Get Divorced

"What design draft? The one for the dress on your desk in the study?"

Trey frowned.

"I showed them to Emilee. She said that she had encountered a bottleneck in her design and wanted to look at some manuscript, but your childish manuscript was useless to her."

"Useless?"

Kristen loosened her hand and staggered back a few steps. Her whole body trembled, and she was almost unable to speak.

"Trey, what right do you have to steal my dream? It's my entry!

"How can you be so cruel?

"You don't like me. You hate me. It's fine. But how can you be so shameless?"

Kristen roared madly at Trey, her tears falling.

She had known him for more than a decade and loved him for seven years. She had always followed him obediently, just like a marionette.

He was the source of all her emotions.

But...

"What's wrong with you?"

Trey was very dissatisfied with Kristen making a scene in the company.

"What's wrong with me?

"Emilee copied my script and published it early. She ruined my dreams and my future. And you're accusing me?

"Trey, how can you do this to me?"

Trey drove Kristen mad.

All the grievances she had endured these years burst out in an instant.

She rushed up, grabbed Trey by the collar, and questioned him madly.

"Let go, you bitch! What are you doing?"

Kailyn rushed up and pulled Kristen.

Kristen was so angry that she slapped Kailyn in the face.

Kailyn's expression changed at once. "Bitch! How dare you hit me!

"You're dead!"

Kailyn fought with Kristen.

Seeing the chaotic scene, Trey frowned and reached out to pull Kristen. "Enough. This is my company. Stop making a fuss! Look at yourself!

"Let the driver send you back. We'll talk tonight."

Just as Trey pulled Kristen, Kailyn was able to break free and slapped Kristen hard twice.

Trey's eyes turn cold. "What are you doing?"

"She slapped me first."

Kailyn snorted, still feeling aggrieved.

Trey hurriedly looked down and wanted to say something.

Yet he saw that Kristen, who had been like a leopard just now, suddenly lost her fighting spirit.

"Trey."

Kristen suddenly looked up at him, her eyes dimmed.

Trey was slightly stunned. He had a bad feeling.

"Let's get divorced."

Kristen thought, let's just leave it like this. I woke up after seven years...

Trey was instantly stunned.

"What did you say?"

"Let's get divorced."

Kristen broke free from him, turned around, and walked step by step towards the heavy rain, muttering, "Seven years. I've been a fool for seven years."

She thought, Emilee is the only one he loves.

I had the delusion that if I worked hard enough, Trey would see me one day.

And now, I have nothing.

It has been my dream to be an excellent fashion designer.

I don't want to be a woman relying on others without income or independent financial ability.

However, in Trey's eyes, I'm just a joke.

"Kristen, what the hell is wrong with you?"

Seeing Kristen walking into the heavy rain without looking back, Trey felt something weird. After a moment of silence, he chased after her.

"Trey!"

Kailyn quickly grabbed Trey and held his arm, refusing to let go. "Trey, I am so scared."

"Kristen!"

Meanwhile, Kristen, who had walked to the middle of the road, didn't see the car coming from the side at all...
