Let Caden Landon Pay to Play Chapter 1

: Rebirth

When I opened my eyes again, the director was asking if I was sure I wanted to spend $5 million to get Caden Landon a role on the production.

Caden Landon looked at me, his eyes full of eager anticipation and a desire to please. He looked completely harmless.

But I knew better. I knew he would kick me to the curb after he got famous, spread scandalous rumors about me, and get me cyberbullied to death.

I turned, laughed, and said to the director,

"I'll invest the $5 million, but I want the Extra standing next to Caden Landon to play the part."

Everyone was stunned. Caden Landon was dumbfounded.

Ignoring the stares of everyone on set, Caden Landon slammed a hand against the wall next to my head, trapping me.

He deliberately turned his head to the side, showing off his chiseled jawline, and spoke in a gentle voice.

"Raina, don't do this, okay? Let's talk about this when we get home."

In my past life, I was so mesmerized by that face and his feigned gentleness that I lost all sense of direction.

Caden Landon never explicitly rejected me, so I actually thought he liked me but couldn't say it because he was a celebrity.

So I foolishly showered him with money and resources, even leaving the industry to become his Agent.

With me backing him, Caden Landon could basically do whatever he wanted on any set.

I thought he would announce our relationship after winning the Best Actor award. Instead, the moment he got famous, he kicked me to the curb.

To prove his "innocence" to his fans, he didn't hesitate to spread scandalous rumors about me, which led to me being cyberbullied to death.

Afterward, afraid my family would seek revenge, Caden Landon incited an underage fan to run them over with a car, killing them.

The thought of it made me drive my fist straight into Caden Landon's face.

"Get away from me, you Creep! Don't be so suggestive, making it sound like we live together."

"You string me along while telling your friends behind my back that I'm a desperate groupie! You're so shameless! I'd rather throw this money in the trash than let you have a cent of it!"

Caden Landon clutched his nose and cried out in pain.

And that perfectly natural nose his fans were always raving about was now crooked.

'Caden Landon had plastic surgery?'
