Chapter 10

Ada sipped her milk and decided to drop the topic. She wouldn't mind the specifics as long as he paid.

Ada worked hard to finish the trial script so nothing would impact her new job today.

Ada departed shortly after William.

Ada wore a maid dress which revealed her long, delicate legs.

Jean sat at a window table.

She was happy since William invited her to a lunch. Despite acknowledging their bond and agreeing to marry her, William never took the initiative.

"I heard you're the only one who didn't employ Ada to write script?"

Matthew told him previously in the firm.

Jean gripped her chair's armrest. Who told him?

William was reclining on his chair in the sun. He casually propped up his chin while inspecting.

She was frightened of losing him. "You've known me for a long time," she blinked.

" Jean stutters while holding back tears and says, "I dread losing you, therefore I meddled in the recruiting process."

William scowled and said, "I told you we'd divorce in three months."

Jean was clear. If Ada wasn't he girrl from that night, she would have waited. She became impatient. She couldn't allow Ada and William get close.

"Ada, here is table 3" Serve." Ada replied, although her lower abdomen hurt. She wasn't sure whether she hadn't slept properly or had been standing at work for too long. She brought the food tray to table , but before she got there, she saw Jean and the guy seated opposite her. She froze for a second but quickly recovered.

She had to face them for work.

"Your drinking is arrived," she smiled politely.

When she put a cup in front of William, he grabbed her wrist and said,

"What are you doing?" His tone was stern.

His eyes lingered on her clothes.

His face clouded as he regarded her legs.

Who was she seducing?

Why was she still working after getting married?

Ada smiled and said, "I'm working."

William's eyebrows were angry.

Last night she was looking for money for a script, and now she's doing this.

Jean remarked, "William, Let's go outdoors."

William and Ada married secretly. Jean didn't want William to tell anybody. William gazed at Ada for a while before calming down.

"I don't want you working here," he said, releasing her hand.

Ada could only focus on the constant stomach agony.

Cold perspiration beaded her forehead. Her health prevented her from arguing. She grabbed the cup and went.

This unexpected agony terrified her.She stopped at the sink after leaving her cubicle and told her tummy, "Be obedient, my baby."

She needed money to care for her mother and her unborn child.

Jean entered the bathroom and heard Ada chatting to herself.

Ada observed her countenance shift and quickly said, "This baby isn't William's, so don't look so horrified."

Ada then rallied, eager to leave the restroom.

Two months old? Jean said. Ada halted and turned, "How did you know?"

Jean guessed based on her stomach's size.

Is Ada pregnant? And William could have that baby.

She couldn't let Ada remain at William's side.

Jean wanted to erase this lady from William's life.

William took Ada out of the restaurant when she left the restroom.

After being tugged about by him, she felt the anguish resurface.

"Go!" William pulled her to the wayside, then let go.

"If you need money, tell me," he threatened. No need to be pitiful!"

He'd just observed Alfred take his family to a premium store. Ada was a waitress. Ada grabbed to a roadside sign for support. Otherwise, she'd fall.

"Mr. Greenburg, we're simply a couple," she said.

"If you're my wife, do you realize you're humiliating me? "William didn't comprehend her. He didn't understand her reasons. Ada pursed her lips in anguish.

Jonson strutted towards them as she was about to fall, saying, "Ada, I'm come to search for you, but I didn't expect you to be here."

Ada's distress wasn't hidden from Jonson.

Since they split that day, he's looked for Elizebeth and learned about Ada'baby.

He couldn't express his emotions. It was unpleasant.

Why didn't she seek his aid if she was so stressed? He wanted to find her but didn't know her address. He tried his luck at the area they'd previously met, and he ran into her.

Ada was preoccupied. Her stomach hurt too badly.

She urged Jonson to take her to the hospital. Jonson looked at her stomach and was going to pick her up when a great force hit his sshoulders.

"She's my wife,"

His tone was weak yet frightening.

Jonson smiled sarcastically, "You're married?"

. William inquired menacingly, "Is that your child?"

Who else possibly be the father of Ada 's kid other than this guy?

Jonson immediately felt very horrible for Ada .

Seeing Jonson's look, William assumed that he confessed it with silence.

William scoffed, "What do you know?!"

Jonson instantly yelled. His eyes were a touch crimson.

He knew what William intended to say. William probably assume Ada was a harlot, since she became pregnant at such an early age.

But William had no clue what Ada had gone through!

Jonson gazed at William's outfit, which was incredibly costly.

Jonson couldn't resist thinking that William's outfit may already a rich as an average worker's one-year income.

"You are from a noble affluent family. Did you ever suffer from poverty? Did you ever know how it feels to have no money, no food? Did you ever had the sensation of helplessness? You don't know what she endured to live until now."

Ada grabbed Jonson's hand and jerked her head towards him to warn him to stop.

She didn't need compassion and pity love from anybody.

She only wanted to live and take excellent care of her mom and her kid.

"Take me to the hospital." Ada couldn't stand here longer.

"OK." Jonson leaned down and hugged her in his arms.

Seeing that William was still being taken aback by what Jonson stated, Ada felt uneasy.

"Sorry, I can't stop working. But I can tell you that I will never let anybody know about it. I won't do anything to make you embarrassed."
