Chapter 1

The day before yesterday, my best friend invited me to a date at a bar. I later end up sleeping with a younger man. I never would've expected him to be my son's classmate, though…

I chewed on my lower lip in the kitchen, looking at the young man behind me with pitiful eyes as I pleaded, "Please don't tease me anymore…"

The young man held my waist tightly and gently sucked on my earlobe. His hot breath fanned against my face as he spoke in a low voice, "Are you going to run away from me again, Vivi?"

I slowly closed my eyes as I let out a strangled moan. "N-No, I won't run anymore…"

My name was Vivian Woodward, and this young man was Ryan Decker. He was my son's classmate, and also the person I'd had a one-night stand with.

A few days ago, I met up with my best friend, Jasmine Holt, at the bar. That was the first time I'd ever laid my eyes on Ryan.

He was quite tall for his age and looked cool and aloof. He didn't seem like the kind of person who would be partying at bars all night.

I watched him in the crowd from afar. The dim lights were shining gently on his face when he suddenly met my gaze.

He made his way through the crowd to approach me. Then, he came a little closer to my face and asked, "Miss, may I have this dance with you?"

There was a faint yet pleasant cologne scent coming from him. However, going out on the dance floor and mingling with the rowdy crowd there made my head spin.

I wasn't able to resist Ryan's scent. It brought me back to my younger days, reminding me of my youth.

So, in my state of confusion, I followed my instincts and started getting closer and closer to him. Then, he started peppering light kisses on my neck.

After the dance, I followed him out of the bar to the motel right above it.

That night, I forgot everything about being a wife and a mother. I was just a woman, a needy and desperate one at that, who hadn't had any action for the longest time ever!

I was greedy for more of the pleasure that Ryan bestowed upon me. It was a sense of joy and happiness that belonged to me alone!

The next morning, while he was still asleep, I hurriedly pulled my clothes back on and ran away.

I thought that I would never see him again.

However, never in my wildest dreams had I ever thought that Ryan would reappear in my life once again—this time, as my son's classmate.

I was wearing my nightgown on the couch when my son, Leo Newell, came home with Ryan. I felt ashamed and embarrassed.

Ryan looked like a goody-two-shoes with his innocent demeanor. However, his eyes were sharp and predatory as he stared straight at me.

It was as if I wasn't wearing anything on my body.

Meanwhile, Leo was happily yelling and screeching while playing games on his Xbox. He was completely oblivious to the rising tension in the living room.

"I'll go cut up some fruits for you both."

I couldn't sit still anymore with how hungrily Ryan was looking at me, as if he wanted to devour me next. So, after coming up with that excuse, I escaped into the kitchen.

I leaned back against the wall and inhaled deeply. I couldn't stop thinking about the night we spent together.

It was right then that I realized something was happening to my lower body.

I had to be joking, right?

I carefully lifted my nightgown and peeked under the dress, noticing the wet spots in my underwear right away.

What was I supposed to do?

Ryan hadn't done anything to me aside from staring at me with his intense gaze, and yet, that was all it took to make me vulnerable.

Just then, Ryan suddenly appeared behind me.
