Chapter 6

Alpha Geralt.

"Alpha, your nephew is here to see you!" Jesper announced while I was busy shoving the multiple letters that had been submitted by the alpha kings of several packs. "Should I let him in?" he asked again, distracting me and I slammed the envelope on the table, causing him to flinch.

I stared at him for a few seconds, unsure whether to be pissed off with him or not. "What business do I have with Tyrion?"

"You're crossing the line, uncle!" came his voice, as he took short and steady steps into my office. Since the death of his father, whom he insisted I was behind his death, this was his first time showing up in my palace, and it hadn't ever bothered me. "I should have wondered how you found out she was my mate, then I recalled what you are always good at. You ordered that his brother be taken out of the border, and now you hired her as your secretary. What is it you're scheming again? Isn't taking my father's position enough for you?" his voice got loud at each word.

I stared in confusion, because the last time I checked, I felt a matebond with that female, and that was why I hired her as my secretary. She was a student, and her course of study matched the role I gave her, and it wouldn't even stop her studies. So where did I go wrong to hire the female whom I am fated to?

"Uncle, she is still my mate, and I can't stand you getting close to what belongs to me." Tyrion's voice came again, and this time I shifted the envelopes and relaxed my back on the chair, my arms across my chest. "She can't be your secretary, so I hope you fire her right now."

I shook my head. No one ever gets to tell the alpha supreme what to do. He, as the alpha king of the Darkpelt pack, was under me just like the other alphas, and he mustn't cross the line because of the familiarity.

"As much as I know, no lady has ever come across you and gone unfucked. That's why you divorced your Luna, so you could have as many women as you wanted. But I won't let you do that to my mate, so you'd better stay away from her," he blurted, and was set to leave.

How could he?

"Tyrion, did you forget that she had rejected you? And, what are you planning to do with her when you have already chosen your Luna?" At this moment, I stood on my feet and sat on the desk. His face drained of blood while I wore a dirty smirk at the corner of my lips. "She has nice curves, well-positioned oranges, plump lips and dazzling eyes. You know how much I love pùssy, especially the ones that drip, so I think she is worth being my secretary if that's the case. Is that also the same reason you don't wanna let her be? Or, is Desire truly infertile?"

His eyes grew large in shock because he didn't see the last statement coming.

As he said, I was good at digging into matters. If I don't, then what qualifies my position as the alpha supreme?

When that female spilled those wine on me, my wolf rather whimpered and groaned instead of snarling in anger as it always did...then came her scent, strong, aromatic, filling my nose. I felt the bond almost pull me to her, and if I hadn't comported myself, I could have just grabbed her to a corner and poked my nose into her musk.

Not until I found out she was Tyrion's mate did I think my wolf was mistaken. Having more than one mate hadn't ever happened, so why was she a mate to Tyrion and also mine? I couldn't share her; she was my first mate, too, so I thought of a solution.

Hire her and keep her closer to find out if the bond was true or fake. Which was what I was going to do.

"So, since she already initiated a rejection, why not pray to the moon goddess that I don't turn out to be her second chance mate? Because if it ever happens, you won't get a glimpse of her ever again." I scoffed at him and rested my arms on the desk. "You should focus on your Luna and seek remedies to open her womb. I won't live to watch you use that innocent omega female as a breeder."

He bit his lower lip, hands clenched into a fist, and I loved how he maintained eye contact with me.

"Uncle, you would rather step back before it's too late. Unity is mine, and I won't have her taken by another man, not even you, who is old enough to be his father," he snorted and took two steps closer. "If you don't heed my warnings now, I will see to it that you lose your legacy and dignity around the packs."

So funny! An alpha fighting his alpha supreme.

How come he forgot that only the moon goddess has the power over me? I could choose to get him out of the alpha throne, and nothing could be done about it.

Who cares how long he bears the sentiment that I murdered his father to take the position? I don't give a fuck and will never.

He dashed out of my office brutally, and Jesper rushed towards my desk and grabbed a seat. His expression showed how baffled he seemed to be, and I didn't expect less either. He opened his lips to speak, but sighed and shut them again. "Ask away, or you leave..." I told him, and he cleared his throat.

"Alpha, I meant to ask what you would do if the matebond was true? She's so young and is just the same as your daughter. Do you think the councils will accept such a union, and Eowyn accepting her as her stepmother too?" Jesper asked, curiosity boldly written on his forehead.

I exhaled deeply while tapping my finger on the desk. As much as I defended myself before Tyrion, I was also confused as to what to do if she turned out to be my fated mate. I hadn't had one before and wished to, but when I didn't meet mine for years, I lost hope for it. If it turned out this way, then what would I say about the moon goddess? That child was the same age as my daughter, so how could I claim her as mine?

Tradition rejects such a thing. The packs will refuse to let it happen.

I wanted my fated mate, the one I could boldly call mine, but I didn't expect someone of her age to be my mate.

My wolf groaned in my head as it flashed the image of her in her work outfit, with her curves all seducing, and her oranges shoving at the faces of men. She was a show killer indeed, the kinda woman I would ever want to dominate over...but she was a minor.

I was twenty years older than her. She could call me her Dad, and there was no way my daughter would accept her as her stepmother.

My mind was spinning with different thoughts. I was damn bothered about where the matebond would lead to, and while I hoped she wasn't my mate, I couldn't see myself letting her slip through my fingers.

___

Hours elapsed, and I couldn't wait so long to see what she would look like in her corporate wear on her first day of work. I hadn't even gotten dressed and just wanted to see her first. And as my secretary, she was supposed to put things together for me before we head to the company.

I was just pacing from one corner of the room to the other, checking on the time several times, that I even lost count.

Not until Jesper announced at the doorpost, "Your secretary is here, Alpha!"

My heart skipped a beat. I took a deep gulp before clearing my throat and commanding her in.

The sound of her heels made me freeze. She walked in elegantly, looking so gorgeous in her attire. My lustful eyes went straight towards her shirt like days ago, and of course, her first two buttons were open, and I could see the top of her oranges through it. The skirt brought out her curves, and her hair had been styled more beautifully than at the resort.

"Alpha Supreme, how do I help you get ready?" she asked while I was lost in thought, my eyes devouring her body.

I didn't realise how long I stared at her, but I shuddered when she flung off her shirt from her body, bringing into light how packaged her oranges were in her brassiere. I froze at that spot, my eyes running through her body completely like a hungry cougar.

She unhooked her brassiere before my very eyes and dropped it on the sofa some feet away from her, and watching those boobs standing firm before me, my cock hardened in my panties, struggling to be freed.

I couldn't move my lips, just taking down the hot saliva that formed in my mouth.

"I'll apologise for not realising why you offered me such help last week. That was so foolish of me," she said and pressed her lips together, whereas I was lost as to what was going on and what I should have done.

My phallus would put me into trouble if time wasn't taken. I couldn't do that to someone who was a minor to me, but the hunger that grew in me was beyond control.

"Alpha, you could have me to yourself. That's my only way to appreciate your offer." Her voice was laced with passion, her expression so soft, and her body movement saying it all. She was offering herself to me, or was I hallucinating about her?

Not until her skirt dropped to her feet did I realise this wasn't my imagination. She was indeed right before me, and it was my chance to get a taste of her musk.
