Chapter 1

A room full of people and noise. Everyone's chatting, laughing and drinking. At a corner Saira the so-called young miss of this family is standing all by herself and zoning out. Suddenly, a commotion was heard. Saira thought that her foster family was having fun or doing something like that. But she misjudged the situation it was her 'brother' who was drunk and was making a scene. She went there as an obeying little sister when Fiona, her 'elder sister' called her. Fiona, the elder miss of the Sergis family, a beautiful young lady with a very polite composure. Her face didn't look good when she saw her younger brother Felix almost getting handy with a man after being drunk. Without any reason Felix punched him and was about to kick him when she stopped him and he drank even more with burning rage in his eyes. Fiona stayed silent as she didn't know what to do but soon Felix passed out so having no other way she called Saira.

"Saira, can you accompany Felix and get him back home, please? Well, I know you don't like these social gatherings either so why don't you take this opportunity to get yourself free. Hmm?" Fiona said with a meaningful look in her eyes but Saira's heart seems to react with her words.

She remembered when the Sergis couple adopted her as their young daughter everyone in the family liked her except for Felix. Even the real young daughter Emily had a good relation with her but Felix, Emily's big brother never accepted her as his sister. Their relationship was so bad that once Felix almost pushed her down the stairs. Then Mr Sergis Felix's father sent him out of the country for quite a long time and barely came home. Today's event was mainly for Felix, his return is announced. But since that childhood incident, Saira was quite afraid of him and with time they were distant with each other. Saira isn't afraid of Felix anymore but she avoids him as much as possible. Today she has to take him home in this drunken state.

Seeing Saira zoning out Fiona knew what she could think about. So, she immediately said in an explaining tone, "Don't worry, he won't do anything like the past. You know how much he regretted that incident. And he is totally drunk so I don't think it'll be a problem. Actually the butler would've taken care of him but he's with dad and....."

"It's alright, sister. I'll take care of brother. I'm not afraid anymore of whatever happened in the past. And I'll take him home, ok?" Saira knows that Fiona is always humble.

"Ok then. I'll call the driver and he'll help you take Felix out of here." Fiona with a grateful smile.

With the driver's help Felix was easily carried to the car but Saira didn't want to sit with him. She would rather sit with the driver but it would be more awkward. "Young miss, second master is seated. Please sit." The driver's words interrupted her thoughts. "Oh yeah, I'm sitting." Saira said with a defeated look. She sat beside Felix with resistance in her heart. The ride was smooth Felix didn't do anything but blabbed who knows what. Then the driver pulled him out and handed him over to Saira saying, "Young miss, I shall leave now." "Ok, you go. I'll take care of him from here." Saira replied. Even though Felix was quite tall and had a big body Saira kind of carried him to the stairs. "Now, please co-operate with me brother. Or else you'll have to sleep here. Wake up a bit. Wake up." Saira shook him a few times but he was not bothered. "Wake up, come to your senses please. Brother, brother. Huh? Really?" unable to wake him up Saira was in a rage and called him by his name, "Felix, wake up and climb the stairs by yourself." to her surprise he opened his eyes a bit and obediently climbed the stairs. While supporting Felix, Saira couldn't help thinking if Felix hated her as she was the sole reason he had to leave his home. Maybe he will avoid her as much as possible as long as she stays here. Returning to reality, Saira opened the door of Felix's room and helped him sit on the bed. His eyes were closed it seemed like he was thinking about something deeply. "Wanna drink some water?" Saira broke the silence. Felix nodded and Saira brought him a glass of water. After hesitating for a bit Saira fed him the water. Holding his chin, she realized he is different from before, he is now calmer than before. She felt a touch in her hand. It was Felix, who held her hand. She pulled back her hand and mistakenly splashed the water on her dress. "Crap, sorry, sorry. I didn't mean it. How about you go and take a bath, while I go and change my dress." Saira excitingly explained. "It's ok. You can take a shirt from my suitcase. It'll be quite large for you." Felix said slowly in a barely audible tone. "Ok then. Go and freshen up." Saira is a bit confused about the situation. Felix went to the bath and in the meantime, Saira changed into a shirt, she found in his clothes. Felix came out with a towel hanging on his shoulder and water drops falling from his hair. Saira helped him sit and observed that even after showering he was not sober. [How much did he drink?] Saira thought to herself. "Wipe your hair." Saira said. Seeing Felix unmoved, she took the towel and started wiping his hair. "Brother, you should wipe it or you'll get cold." Felix looked up to her with his half closed eyes. It's hard to deny that he looks too handsome. His eyes wandered around her face. There was something in his eyes which Saira couldn't figure out. "Ira..." Felix murmured. Saira looked at him with surprise.

[What did he just call me?]

"Brother, are you feeling alright?" Saira asked.

"I'm not your brother, Ira." Felix pulled her hand towards him. "We're not related. Mom and dad adopted you but you don't have the surname 'Sergis' so you're not my sister."

"I didn't take the surname because I didn't want it. But still we are siblings." Saira tried to struggle.

"No, we're not. You are not my sister and I'm not your brother. Ira, you won't call me brother. Ok?" Felix held both her hands and they were too close to each other.

[What's happening? What's he up to?]

Saira tried to fight him but he was quite stronger than her. Felix pinned her down on the bed holding her both hands. "Brother, leave me. It's wrong."

"It's not Ira." Felix said before closing her mouth with his. He kissed her lips. It was more like he was sucking her soul out...........
