Billionaire's Flashed Married Sweetheart Chapter 1

Jane Dench's POV:

"Jane Dench, see you tonight."

I'm still not used to it, because my husband and I just knew each other for a few hours and then got married in a flash. A week ago, with the help of my best friend Jena Blethyn, I met this man named Ben Roberts. I have a negative attitude towards this blind date, because after the accident many years ago, I think as long as I can meet a suitable man, I can marry, and also make my parents feel at ease.

When I first met this man, I had a good impression of him. Not only because he was dressed solemnly, but also because his voice was very pleasant. After a simple courtesy, we exchanged contact information and went home. I thought this blind date would be the same as before, but unexpectedly, I received a call from Ben Roberts two days later.

That night, Ben Roberts invited me to a steak house for dinner.

I've been very busy recently, and all I'm thinking about is the upcoming press conference. I didn't talk much during the dinner, and I'm not full either. I wanted to find an excuse to leave, but Ben Roberts broke the ice first. "Ms.Dench, shall we get married?"

"Get married?" I pinched myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming, so I looked at the man in front of me carefully.

Ben Roberts's eyes were bright and energetic. He was a handsome man who was one in a hundred. His expression and attitude were very serious, and he didn't look like an impulsive person

"We just met for the second time. Don't you think it's too soon?" I told her my thoughts. I wanted to get married, but I didn't expect it to be so soon.

"Yes, a little fast." Ben Roberts said calmly, "you give me a good feeling. I don't think the personalities of the two of us are in conflict, so I want to have a try."

I frowned slightly and was a little unhappy. "Have a try. Do you think..."

Before I could finish my words, Ben Roberts interrupted, "Ms.Dench, we are both adults. We take what we need. Do you think there is true love in the world?"

I didn't answer, but stared at Ben Roberts' face.

Ben Roberts continued, "maybe I was too anxious to consider your feelings. You can think about it when you go back. I'll wait for your call."

After I went home that night, I kept thinking about it.

Yes, I admit that there is no love in this world. It's just that men and women take what they need. He is handsome, and I won't suffer any loss. Besides, after being hurt by, I really have no right to ask for anything.

I didn't sleep all night. On the second morning, I called Ben Roberts and agreed to his proposal

That afternoon, we got our marriage license. In the evening, I moved into Ben Roberts' apartment. Fortunately, he acted like a gentleman and left the main bedroom for me to rest, while he slept in another bedroom.

In the morning, after saying goodbye to each other politely, I came to work for future innovations. Recently, the company is very busy, not only because the new product launch event I participated in is about to be held, but also because I have to welcome the new CEO. I am really busy

"Jane, what are you thinking about?" The manager of the public relations department, Ammy Winslet, looked at me and said in a stern tone, "although you are in the business department, your manager sent you to assist our public relations department. We can't strike passively, okay?"

"I'm sorry." I touched my nose and lowered my head with embarrassment.

"Everyone, cheer up. We must hold today's press conference beautifully. We can't make any mistake." As Ammy Winslet spoke, she seriously glanced at every staff under her.

"Yes, sir." The public relations department in charge of the reception work and the temporary colleagues sent to support answered in unison.

Ammy Winslet finally looked at me and said, "Jane Dench, I heard that you are the best employee in your business department. You will be with the new CEO later and be responsible for the work around him. You don't need to worry about anything else."

"Okay!" I'm not a person who likes to join in the fun, but now in the tense atmosphere, I'm curious about who the new CEO is.

"Here we are. All the directors and the new president are here." Hearing this, the colleagues couldn't help but straighten their clothes and respectfully stood on their positions.

I followed Ammy Winslet to welcome the new CEO.

After a few steps, a tall man in a black suit walked towards the hall surrounded by several men in black suits.

Oh my God!

It was Ben Roberts!

When I met his eyes, I was so nervous that I almost forgot to breathe.

He is my newly married husband!

My mind went blank.

The man's eyes stayed on me for a moment and then moved away, as cold as if he didn't know me at all.

Ammy Winslet pulled me hard and scolded in a low voice, "Jane Dench, what are you doing here?"

I just woke up from a dream and felt a little annoyed that I was absent-minded.

Ammy Winslet scolded in a low voice, "hurry up and follow me."

I nodded and quickly followed the new president. At the same time, I took a professional attitude to work.

Ammy Winslet quickly opened the door of the banquet hall. "Welcome our directors and new president!"

In an instant, there was fierce applause in the large conference hall. I followed the big boss closely. After the big boss took his seat, I handed the prepared materials to him neatly.

However, even if I have professional professional training, the fact that the new boss of the company is my newly married husband still has a great impact on me. I accidentally shook my hand, and the data fell to the ground.

When I was about to squat down to pick up the dropped folder, Ben Roberts bent down and picked it up before me. Then he whispered in my ear, "wait for me at home tonight."

I was so stunned that I forgot what to do.

He was wrapping his arms around Krystal, watching the artificial meteor shower he had arranged just for her. "Anything for you, my love," he said, completely forgetting I was drowning in the dark below. For three years, I believed I had "Wolf Sickness." I took the pills he sent, grateful for his care. But the pills were poison. Wolfsbane. Designed to keep me weak, docile, and unable to shift, just so he could replace me with a more powerful Luna. He called me a liability. He watched his mistress run me over with her Porsche, ordered his guards to silence me, and let her dogs tear my skin. Now, clutching the cold medal, the final thread of our bond snapped. I didn't go back to the pack house. I dragged my broken body to the airport and sent one final text. "I, Alina Phillips, reject you, Jaxon Francis."
