Chapter 75

The president gave all the authority to the prime minister in order to make sure that his Niece and her mate are safe and well protected.

Harris also has decided to go back to the hospital with Dylan. he knows his friend would be needing a more detailed explanation of everything.

When Lucius, Dylan and Harris entered the private suite where Aria, Cyrus and Kiana were sleeping, Naomi immediately recognized the Prime Minister.

"Naomi..you're really alive!" Lucius blurted out as the omega immediately bowed down to show her respect to him.

"It's been a while Sir, how have you been sir?" the female omega asked with teary eyes because for the first time in decades, she couldn't believe that someone as powerful as the Prime Minister would call her name again. Ever since she left Aria in the orphanage, she changed her name. because she was just an ordinary worker for the house Von don- Thomson, not a lot of people know her face.

Some people might have recognized her name but not everyone could put a face to it and that's how she managed to hide for years.

"Thank God you're alive! My Iris told me once that she had seen you somewhere in Chicago but when we tried to locate you we were informed that you died. I'm just so thankful that you're alive"

He couldn't even decide whether to hug her or just hold her because well, Naomi also used to take care of their eldest son before whenever they visited.

"I got scared that Julius’s men would find me, that's why I had to hide sir. I didn't even know that Felicia was working for them because she kept telling us not to visit her at her workplace. The Moon really had a good time playing with lives. I am so sorry that Julius’s real son didn't make it. My mate wanted to save him too but Aria had already passed out that day and I couldn't carry two children so I had to choose the

young mistress. Please forgive me for---" Naomi wasn't able to finish her sentence when the horrible memory of her past came rushing over her again.

Lucius didn't hold back this time as he pulled the omega into his arms to comfort her. Felicia is also crying while watching her sister-in-law reminisce about the ugly past she was trying to forget for years. The older omega was still crying when she noticed Dylan in the corner of the room staring at sleeping Aria.

Felicia’s heart melts when she sees how he subtly wipes away his tears and slowly takes Aria’s pale hands into his own.

It is only then that Felicia realizes that the other kid Naomi and Henry failed to save was Dylan’s real cousin. The old woman walks towards the alpha who's crying in silence.

"You know, wherever your cousin is I'm sure he'll be very proud and thankful to have a cousin like you. He sent his playmate Aria to you and you did well protecting Cyrus from that evil man." Felicia said in a soft voice.

Dylan lifted his teary eyes for the first time.

"I...I just want to know where the real Cyrus...I mean. D-do you know where they buried him?" Dylan asked, hoping that at least someone had the decency to give his cousin a proper burial.

"He's at the Cater’s cemetery, the odd thing is his tomb was named Kiana." Harris said when he heard his friend asking for the child who got killed by the fire years ago.

When they were investigating, they found out that the body of the kid was stolen from the morgue where they put it. It was only later that they found out that it was buried in the private property.

Dylan didn't even ask anymore.

He put the pieces of the puzzle together and his heart bleeds thinking that Aria actually cried and poured her heart out in front of his cousin’s tomb instead of her daughter three years ago.

There has been so much drama in less than 48 hours and that very moment Dylan found the prime minister’s eyes staring at him, he knew that it's the end of it all.

The two didn't have to talk about it in front of the two omegas anymore because they don't want to stress them more but the older pure blood alpha gave Dylan the look of reassurance that everything will be fine from now on.

The prime minister told Harris to take Dylan home so the younger could finally take a rest too while he asked a few of his men to take Felicia and Naomi back home so they could also rest.

The night has been so long for everyone else and the Prime Minister is just so glad that they are all safe now.

He dialed his innocent mate's number and informed her that they are in the hospital before he dialed his secretary's number so that he could finish all the legal matters.

Healing My Seven Broken Beast Mates Novel Cover
9.4
My retirement was finally approved, and I was supposed to be sipping drinks on a sunny beach. Instead, a cold system voice forced me into a nightmare scenario: "Cursed Mates Who Want Me Dead." I woke up in a stinking cave, trapped in the body of a psychopathic tribal princess. The memories that flooded my brain made me sick. The original owner of this body had forcibly marked seven of the continent's most powerful beast-men and reduced them to tortured pets. She had ripped the shimmering scales off Jordi the Merfolk prince, gouged out a proud wolf-man's power crystal, and snapped an eagle-man's magnificent wings. Now, Jordi was a mutilated, terrified mess hiding in a corner. He was so traumatized that he tried to slit his own throat just to escape me. His sister was actively trying to assassinate me. To make matters worse, the system warned me that if I didn't heal these seven ticking time bombs, my soul would be erased. Yet the future timeline clearly showed that these men would eventually unite, burn my tribe to the ground, and dismember me alive. I was paying for a monster's sins. Every time I tried to show mercy, they thought it was a sick new torture method. Words were useless, and my very presence was a trigger. But I am a Tier-S operative, and I don't play the victim. I forced the system to unlock my powers and strapped on my tactical gear. "Stay here and don't starve." I left the trembling Merfolk behind and walked into the deadly primitive forest, heading straight for the powerful Oasis Tribe to take back his stolen scales by force.

Ninety-Nine Times, Then No More Novel Cover
7.3
This was the ninety-ninth time I caught my husband, Chase Vargas, with another woman in our five-year marriage. I stood in the hotel doorway, numb, tired of the cheap perfume and his cold, familiar eyes. But this time, his mistress, a blonde woman, hissed, "He told me all about you. The pathetic wife he's stuck with because of some business deal. He said he can't stand the sight of you." Her words, meant to hurt, were things I already knew, things Chase had made sure I understood. Still, hearing them from a stranger felt like a new humiliation. She lunged, scratching my face, drawing blood. The sting was a surprising jolt in my numb world. I wrote her a check, a routine part of this pathetic scene. Then my phone rang. It was Chase, calling from across the room. "What are you doing? Are you making a scene? Clean it up and get out. You're embarrassing." He thought I had orchestrated this, that I was the embarrassing one. The betrayal was casual, complete. "I'm tired, Chase," I said, the words finally coming from a place I thought had died. "I want a divorce." He laughed, a cruel sound. "A divorce? Elena, don't be ridiculous. You love me too much to ever leave me." I hung up. He then handed me a signed divorce agreement, telling me his true love, June, my adopted sister, was back. He wanted me to play the dutiful wife for her welcome-home concert. My heart, which I thought had turned to stone, felt a final, crushing blow. He wasn't divorcing me because I wanted it. He was divorcing me for her. I signed the papers. The ninety-ninth time was the last time he would do this to me.
