Chapter 71

Aria was about to beg once more when the alpha turned to give her a dead stare before she walks towards Julius and Alex just to expose her secret.

Aria cried in pain because of another betrayal from her friend.

She needs to calm down but her wolf is already howling when she feels hands on her shoulders.

"So, you're a Fucking pure blood and you were not planning to me when you knew that Cyrus would have died if I killed you?” Alex’s words are ringing in her ears but even before she could reply, the little girl starts to stir from her slumber.

"Pwetty Pwincess you're here---oh, we're gonna pway ?" Kiana asks when she noticed that she's also tied up like Aria too.

Heaven knows Aria is trying so hard to calm down for her pup but the hope and innocence in her eyes really breaks her heart.

She feels so sorry towards the innocent girl because she knows that she isn't even supposed to be there if it's not because of her.

"Y-yes baby.. we'll play catch while we're waiting for your daddy." Aria replied while trying to stop the tears that started to flow on his cheeks.

Kiana noticed the tears so the little girl frowned at Alex.

"Aunty Lex, you're hurting pwetty pwincess! Can you untie her?" she asked innocently but Alex just ignores the child’s request and crouches down to cup her tiny face.

"I am so Fucking done with your little games! And since I can’t kill your omega mother, without killing your alpha dad, then I'll just kill you myself and---" Alex wasn't able to finish her sentence when one of Julius’s men screamed in alarm.

"We've got company!" the beta goon yelled to alarm everyone in the warehouse!

Alex’s eyes widened as she grabs the little girl from her chair while Julius drags Aria by her hair making the omega fall to the ground because she couldn't stand with the chains all over her body.

"What a useless piece of shit you are! Come on Omega, make yourself useful to me for once!" Julius grits his teeth as he drags the omega to hide.

He knows his men would be able to eliminate whoever the uninvited guests are but just in case Cyrus defies him, then he knows Aria would be a great shield against his fake son.

Alex on the other hand is running with Kiana in her arms while Rina is covering them behind. She knew Cyrus would do everything for his family so the alpha made sure she at least had leverage to use against the pure blood alpha.

The scene in the warehouse is scary due to the array flying silver bullets from the two opposite sides.

The Prime Minister finally used his power and mobilized the nation's defense squad to protect and save his family.

The moment they got the exact location of where Julius and Alex were, he immediately called the Arm Forces and called for an anti terrorist attack squad.

He wants  to make sure his son's mate and his grandpup are both safe and alive.

The exchange of bullets all around the warehouse lasts only for a few minutes until Dylan made sure that all Julius' private armies are eliminated but to their disappointment, they haven't found Kiana and Aria yet.

Good thing that the mother and daughter did not wear scent blockers that night so Cyrus could track them down.

He knows they're both  in the warehouse and probably kept as hostages by Julius and Alex since they haven't spotted the two either.

He was about to follow Aria’s scent first because for pure blood alpha like him, he knows he has to save his mate in order for him to live too.

"Cyrus!" Lucius held the younger pure blood by his wrist.

"Sir!? Why are you out here? The commander said you stay inside the car because it's danger and----"

"Sssssh! I told you, I won't let anyone hurt my family. Now go find your pup and I'll deal with finding Aria." Lucius says and that made Cyrus frown again.

It was the second time he heard the old man calling his family his own.

"No sir, you don't understand. I have to save Ari---"

"I totally get it, young man. I won't let anything bad happen to your mate. I know her scent so I could track her down and you know your pup's scent so you can go after her. I'm pretty sure Aria would never forgive any of us if something happens to your pup." the prime minister said with full authority in his voice.

Cyrus still wants to argue when they all hear Kiana’s scream.

"Go! Go Cyrus, and son... please be careful, I'm sure your Brother would want to see you when he wakes up." The Prime Minister wasn't able to stop himself from grabbing his son to a tight and quick hug again.

The younger pure blood wasn't able to process everything that's going on because his mind is already following Kiana’s voice that is suddenly muffled again.

Julius and Alex planned everything out. All they wanted was to eliminate Aria and Kiana so they could both have Cyrus where they wanted him.

But one thing the two weren't anticipating was the discovery of Cyrus’s real identity.

Julius never expected the Prime Minister to intervene. He even expected him to start a war against Cyrus since his son's body was found inside Cyrus’s penthouse.

Little did he know, Lucius is a chosen wolf by Luna herself and everyone dear to the pure blood alpha is also coated with protection.

Julius is holding Aria in his arms as shield when he hears footsteps coming their way.

"You know that you can’t kill me right or else Cyrus will die too." Aria says trying to distract Julius but the older man is livid because he is waiting for his men to come and rescue him but until now no one is coming.

He slaps Aria on the face so hard it made the omega fall on the ground.

"Shut up you omega whore. I could kill you anytime I but for now I will use you as a shield from my obsessed son." Julius says as the alpha was about to pick her up the Prime minister suddenly appeared.

"Oh look who's here to rescue you whore! It's your other man's papa!" Julius said in a mocking tone.

"You mean her mate's real father?” Lucius corrected the other pure blood while calculating the distance between them.

Julius’s eyes widened when he heard this.

He knows that Cyrus is not his real son but he never really knew where Cyrus came from. All he knows is that the boy was living on an island with his very poor parents who agreed to receive the money he gave them in exchange for the boy.

He never really imagined that Cyrus is the missing son of the Prime Minister.

"Impossible!" Julius uttered but when he saw the Prime Minister walk towards them, he cocks his gun and pointed it at him but the older pure blood shows no fear as he looks at Aria’s bleeding lips due to the slap given to her by Julius.

"Aria, are you okay?" he asked, totally ignoring Julius’s gun pointed at him.

The omega winces in pain but  still managed to smile at the older pure blood.

"I'm fine uncle, but where's my Kiana?" Ari asked that only made Julius more irate because he feels like no one is frightened in his presence when he's the one who's holding a gun.

Lucius was about to reply and tell the omega that Kiana will be fine when Julius hits the omega's face with his gun again, this time blood starts to ooze from Aria’s forehead.

The Prime Minister's eyes turned crimson red as he glared at the evil wolf.

" Julius, if you don’t keep your hands to yourself I'm gonna rip your heart out and make sure you die in the worst way possible. Your face will be all over the news but this time not as a hero but as someone who killed a whole family including your own son!"

Julius’s eyes widened again but instead of denying his crime, he just pointed his gun towards Aria’s head.

"So you know that too? then there's no need for this whore of an omega here then. Besides, if I kill her, your useless son would die too. It's still a win for me and---"

Julius was not able to finish his sentence when in just a blink of an eye, the Prime Minister was already in front of him with his sharp claws digging on his chest  and before he realized what just happened, he already ripped his heart out.

"I told you not to even think of harming my family because I'm going to rip your heart out! I guess you won't learn until I show you that a good father would kill and die for his son and not the other way around!" the Prime Minister whispered in Julius’s ears before he pushed him away.

Aria’s eyes widened as she witnessed Julius fall lifeless to the ground while Lucius held his bloody heart.

"Close your eyes child, you wouldn't want to see this." Lucius says before smashing Julius’s bloody heart. The omega is too shocked to close her eyes; she managed to witness the gore in front of her.

The last thing she remembers is that Lucius is apologizing to her for letting her witness that before she passed out.

Healing My Seven Broken Beast Mates Novel Cover
9.4
My retirement was finally approved, and I was supposed to be sipping drinks on a sunny beach. Instead, a cold system voice forced me into a nightmare scenario: "Cursed Mates Who Want Me Dead." I woke up in a stinking cave, trapped in the body of a psychopathic tribal princess. The memories that flooded my brain made me sick. The original owner of this body had forcibly marked seven of the continent's most powerful beast-men and reduced them to tortured pets. She had ripped the shimmering scales off Jordi the Merfolk prince, gouged out a proud wolf-man's power crystal, and snapped an eagle-man's magnificent wings. Now, Jordi was a mutilated, terrified mess hiding in a corner. He was so traumatized that he tried to slit his own throat just to escape me. His sister was actively trying to assassinate me. To make matters worse, the system warned me that if I didn't heal these seven ticking time bombs, my soul would be erased. Yet the future timeline clearly showed that these men would eventually unite, burn my tribe to the ground, and dismember me alive. I was paying for a monster's sins. Every time I tried to show mercy, they thought it was a sick new torture method. Words were useless, and my very presence was a trigger. But I am a Tier-S operative, and I don't play the victim. I forced the system to unlock my powers and strapped on my tactical gear. "Stay here and don't starve." I left the trembling Merfolk behind and walked into the deadly primitive forest, heading straight for the powerful Oasis Tribe to take back his stolen scales by force.

Ninety-Nine Times, Then No More Novel Cover
7.3
This was the ninety-ninth time I caught my husband, Chase Vargas, with another woman in our five-year marriage. I stood in the hotel doorway, numb, tired of the cheap perfume and his cold, familiar eyes. But this time, his mistress, a blonde woman, hissed, "He told me all about you. The pathetic wife he's stuck with because of some business deal. He said he can't stand the sight of you." Her words, meant to hurt, were things I already knew, things Chase had made sure I understood. Still, hearing them from a stranger felt like a new humiliation. She lunged, scratching my face, drawing blood. The sting was a surprising jolt in my numb world. I wrote her a check, a routine part of this pathetic scene. Then my phone rang. It was Chase, calling from across the room. "What are you doing? Are you making a scene? Clean it up and get out. You're embarrassing." He thought I had orchestrated this, that I was the embarrassing one. The betrayal was casual, complete. "I'm tired, Chase," I said, the words finally coming from a place I thought had died. "I want a divorce." He laughed, a cruel sound. "A divorce? Elena, don't be ridiculous. You love me too much to ever leave me." I hung up. He then handed me a signed divorce agreement, telling me his true love, June, my adopted sister, was back. He wanted me to play the dutiful wife for her welcome-home concert. My heart, which I thought had turned to stone, felt a final, crushing blow. He wasn't divorcing me because I wanted it. He was divorcing me for her. I signed the papers. The ninety-ninth time was the last time he would do this to me.
