Abandoned Your Pregnant Luna? Biggest Mistake, Alpha! Novel Cover

Abandoned Your Pregnant Luna? Biggest Mistake, Alpha!

I'm Kennedy, the pack's recognized Luna, and Tyler's fated mate-or so I foolishly believed. That day, the pregnancy test burned in my palm as I traced the tiny life growing inside me, my heart swelling with secret joy. But that joy turned to ash outside the club on that rainy night. Brenda's back-the woman who saved his life, the one he chose without hesitation over me. He grew colder by the day, letting her friends call me a FAKE LUNA to my face, even saying he wanted to reject our mate bond. I clung to my pregnancy like it was my last shred of dignity, terrified that if I spoke up, all I'd hear was his icy command-- "Abort it." He left me soaking in the rain, ignored me when I was burning with fever, and let me be humiliated, let me be pressured. But he forgot- I'm Kennedy, not some fragile vine that bends to his will. He'll pay the most brutal price for that stupid mistake!

Chapter 5

Kennedy pov

I couldn't go to the hospital.

Once I entered the hospital, I would definitely be exposed.

It sounded ridiculous, but I didn't want anyone to know about the child because I wanted to preserve what little self-respect I had left.

Although I knew that from the day I agreed to be Alpha Tyler Luna despite knowing he doesn't love me, my so-called self-respect had already vanished.

Now, in front of him, in front of the man I loved, what self-respect did I have left?

But even so. I lowered my eyelids. Even so, I couldn't bring myself to lay everything that could be mocked out in the open.

After hearing my words, Alpha Tyler furrowed his brows deeply, turned the car around, and abruptly pulled over to the side of the road.

I, seeing this, thought he was telling me to get out, and reached out to open the door.

Click-

The next moment, the car door was locked.

Alpha Tyler stared at me through the rearview mirror with an ambiguous expression.

"Why aren't we going to the hospital?"

Ever since I came back from getting caught in the rain last night, seeing him with Brenda and hearing everything they said, my demeanor has changed.

I maintained my composure and replied,

"If I'm not feeling well, I'll go on my own."

Hearing this, Alpha Tyler narrowed his eyes dangerously.

Brenda hurriedly said,

"Alpha, is it because of me? Why don't I get out here first, and you take our Luna to the hospital? After all, her condition is serious; we can't delay any longer."

After speaking, Brenda leaned toward Alpha Tyler, intending to press the door lock switch.

Then I saw Alpha Tyler stop her, their wrists touching.

"Don't say that," Alpha Tyler frowned, glancing at Kennedy before saying,

"Don't overthink it. It's not your fault."

Brenda glanced at their hands, her eyes flickering with a blush.

I watched the scene in silence.

When Brenda's gaze met mine, she quickly averted her eyes, feeling a bit flustered.

"Luna, I misunderstood you. I thought you were upset with me because of what happened with Alpha. I'm truly sorry."

I gave her a faint glance.

I knew Brenda was acting pitiful because Tyler was here, only I knew her true color and no one was ready to believe me.

However, she was, after all, Alpha Tyler benefactor.

I forced a smile.

"It's okay." Brenda smiled,

"You don't want to go to the hospital? Are you afraid of the pack hospital? My friend opened a small clinic after returning to the country. Why don't you go check it out?"

After saying that, she turned to Alpha Tyler: "What do you think, Alpha Tyler?"

Alpha Tyler didn't agree immediately. Instead, he furrowed his brows and said,

"A clinic? Is it reliable?"

Brenda felt a bit awkward: "Of course it is. If it weren't reliable, why would I recommend it? Don't you trust me?"

After a moment of thought, Alpha Tyler nodded: "Alright, let's go to the clinic."

I furrowed my delicate brows.

"I..." I don't trust myself with Brenda and now she is recommending a clinic that isn't the pack hospital.

The next moment, Alpha Tyler's car had already sped off, leaving me no chance to refuse.

Meanwhile, Brenda was still trying to persuade me.

"Luna, don't worry. My friend has a great personality and is very patient and kind with patients. I'll make sure to tell him in advance, and we can discuss it when we get there. Is that okay?"

Compared to the gentle and considerate Brenda, I was the complete opposite-sick and refusing to see a doctor, acting like a spoiled child. What else could she say?

I remained silent as the car drove off again.

Upon arriving at the clinic, Brenda helped me out of the car, speaking softly,

"Is your head still dizzy? If you're feeling unwell, lean on my shoulder." Brenda spoke in a soft voice, her body fragrant with the subtle scent of gardenia, and her movements were gentle as she supported me.

I lowered my eyes and thought to myself.

Brenda wasn't just beautiful; she was also exceptionally talented.

Most importantly, she had once saved Alpha Tyler's life.

If I were Alpha Tyler, I would probably like her too.

When Brenda's friend arrived, she approached him and chatted with him for a while.

The man, dressed in a white robe, eventually fixed his gaze on my face, nodded, and then walked over.

"Hello, are you one of Brenda's friends? My name is Dr. Felix."

I nodded at him: "Hello."

"Do you have a fever?"

Dr. Felix asked softly, his hand reaching out to touch my forehead.

The sudden closeness made me instinctively step aside. My reaction must have made the doctor smile,

"I was just checking your temperature," he explained.

After speaking, he didn't continue but instead took out a thermometer,

"Let's check your temperature first."

I took it.

Behind me, Alpha Tyler's voice rang out, "Kennedy"

...

"Do you know how to use a thermometer?"

I ignored him. How could I not know how to use a thermometer?

However, due to my illness, I felt a bit dizzy, so my movements were slow and deliberate.

Once I had used it, Dr. Felix said he would wait a moment.

Brenda saw this and took the opportunity to introduce Alpha Tyler to Dr. Felix.

"Alpha, this is Dr. Felix, whom I mentioned to you on the phone earlier. He's very skilled in medicine, but he likes freedom, so he returned here to open this clinic. Felix, this is Alpha Tyler who is..."

She paused for a moment before blushing and saying,

"My friend. "

"Friend?" This title made Dr. Felix raise an eyebrow. His gaze then inadvertently swept over my face before returning to Alpha Tyler's face.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Felix. Nice to meet you."

"I know."

After a long pause, Alpha Tyler finally raised his hand and shook the other's hand lightly.

"Alpha Tyler."

Dr. Felix gave a mysterious smile and said something ambiguous,

"I've heard a lot about you from Brenda. She speaks very highly of you."

"Felix..." Brenda seemed to have been struck by something, her fair cheeks turning pink instantly.

"What? Did I say something wrong? Don't you always praise him in front of everyone?"

"Enough, stop talking."

As he spoke, Alpha Tyler lowered his gaze and glanced at me. I sat there, my eyelids drooping slightly, a few strands of soft black hair falling down to cover half of my forehead, also hiding my beautiful eyes and concealing all my emotions.

I sat there quietly, detached from the situation, like an outsider.

Alpha Tyler's face darkened instantly.

Five minutes later

Dr. Felix took the thermometer and furrowed his brow: "The temperature is a bit high. Let's give her an injection."

I lifted my head and said, "No injection."

Hearing this, Dr. Felix glanced at me and then smiled,

"Afraid of pain? Don't worry, I'm very gentle."

Brenda nodded in agreement: "That's right, Kennedy . Your health is important."

I shook my head firmly: "I don't want a shot, and I don't want medicine either."

My stubborn expression caused Alpha Tyler to furrow his brows.

"Then we'll have to try physical cooling. I'll go get the medicine and supplies. You use a wet towel to cool your head first. Don't let it get too hot."

As Dr. Felix left, Brenda said, "I'll go help too."

Once the two of them had left, the room was left with only Kennedy and Alpha Tyler.

I felt dizzy.

I wanted to get a wet towel to cool myself down first, but... I had no strength left.

At that moment, Alpha Tyler, who had been silent the whole time, suddenly pulled his lips into a smile and said two words.

"Overreacting."
