A Baby For The Billionaire

Ana dropped from the cab and stood before the simple yet dazzling looking gate; she couldn’t believe this was the entrance to the famous Gray family’s building. These people found happiness with the simplest things, the entrance was designed with expensive and lovely looking flowers on both sides of the pathway.

She didn’t notice the security men at the gate until she got closer, the small entrance at the gate was open so she just walked in. It had been two weeks since she found out that she was pregnant and she had concluded that she would let Stephen know… He deserved to know that she was carrying his child, and if he was not the billionaire trash can or playboy that she had accused him of being, this was his time to prove it.

Ana didn’t really have any further plan aside from letting him know that she was carrying his child, she didn’t know what she would do next but it will however depend on his reaction to the news. She doubted that he would want anything to do with a poor girl from the trenches even though she was carrying his child, but she was still eager to see his reaction.

Would he deny it and call her names? Would he admit it but want nothing to do with it? Would he ask her to get rid of it? Or if for a moment she even dared to dream big, would he ask her to be his wife or baby mama? What if he was happy to know that she was carrying his child; even Anna knew that the thought of that was silly and unrealistic, there is no way he would be interested in her and neither was she interested in him.

“Hey man, are you just going to stand there and watch that woman wander into the building?” one of the security men said to the other as Anna walked into the gate. He was short and fat with a large chunk of beard, a swollen face that hid his eyes.

“Chill man, it is not like she has a gun or something, she is just a pregnant girl,” the taller guy replied.

Ana froze, she didn’t know that her baby bump was getting visible already, she was just barely two months gone and someone had noticed already, maybe she shouldn’t have eaten all those pancakes before leaving that house, she just couldn’t help her appetite.

Her mother once used to complain of her small appetite as she barely ate, and now her mom was now complaining of her eating too much. Speaking of her mother, she had grown nicer to her regarding the pregnancy and didn’t question her about it anymore. Just like her father said, they had left her to decide her fate, only if Anna was certain on what she wanted.

“Hello Ma’am, are you lost?” the taller guy asked.

“If you are here to beg, we don’t have any money on us, so just move ahead.” The short one chirped in immediately.

“Stubby, don’t be harsh… let’s hear her out first, and then we can tell her we don’t have any money,” the taller guy retorted.

Anna couldn’t help but giggle softly, these men were funny. Where did the Gray family find these dudes and why did they think them worthy enough of a security job? These loud mouths had the brain size of a hen.

“Sorry gentlemen but I am looking for your boss, I lost his profile card which he gave to me, or I might have damaged it,” she joked and chuckled. “Anyway, just help me tell him that Anastasia from the presidential suites wants to have a word with him, I will stay here and wait for your permission to come in because I am certain he would want to see me,” she uttered with a smile.

The men looked at each other with a confused expression on their face and then they came closer to her.

“Look Ma’am, I don’t know who you think you are but you can’t walk in here and give us orders,” the short man said and furrowed his eyebrows, giving him a more hilarious look than his original face.

“Hey, Stubby!! I am not going to lose my job because of your pride, learn to treat women nicely. Did your mother not teach you?” the tall guy fired back in Anna’s defense.

“Okay whatever, you speak with her, Mr. Gentleman. In case you are trying to make her like you, I would suggest you stop. As you can see, she is already carrying a mini trouble in her belly? That means she is taken.” Stubby cackled.

The tall dude frowned and shook his head. “You talk a lot of rubbish, Stubby.” He whined

“Um… hello guys, are you informing your boss or not?” Ana asked with a small smile on her face

“It depends on which of the Boss you want to see? Is it Mr. Gray himself or the young master? Or is it the Mexican boss? Or maybe the casino lord; Which one do you seek, ma’am?” Stubby asked.

Ana sighed and rubbed her forehead; these men would give her a splitting headache. “I am talking about Stephen Gray,” she replied.

“Oh, the young master… Well if you knew him too well, you would know that he is almost never around at this time of the day, but that is by the way.” Stubby muttered.

“So if he is not at home? where is he and when is he coming back?” Ana questioned, she was getting tired of standing in the sun with these fools already.

“Why don’t you ask Dino? He seems to like you,” Stubby grumbled and pulled his long trousers up to his stomach as he turned around.

Dino the taller guy sighed and made a facepalm expression, and then he stepped forward. “Ma’am, the young master has left on a trip to Asia, he is gone to try and convince his brother to return for the wedding next week. He is going to come back a week before the wedding.” He announced.

“Hey, you give out way too much information!” Stubby uttered from the corner.

“Shut up blue balls!!” Dino yelled back at him.

“Wait, what wedding?” Ana asked immediately before the men would engage each other in an argument.

“You didn’t know about the wedding? The young master is getting married next week, here is an invitation card in case you didn’t get one.” Dino announced and handed her an invitation card he had been holding on to the whole time.

“Hey, who said you can give invitations to strangers??” Stubby yelled again from the corner.

“Just shut up Stubby!!”

Ana had frozen the moment the invitation card was handed to her. A wedding? So her mother was telling the truth after all, Ana had not taken her seriously when she mentioned the wedding weeks ago. She thought she had just made that up to spite her. So Stephen was really getting married?

Anna couldn’t believe it, he was getting married and yet he raped her and got her pregnant. How can a man be that useless? Ana was broken by the thought of that and her courage dwindled. She didn’t know if she could tell him about the baby at this point; it would ruin his marriage and wouldn’t that make her selfish?

She turned around slowly and headed for the gate, a drop of tear escaped her watery eyes and she fought back the pool forming beneath. She had soft eyes and a heart which was the reason for her constant tears, she easily shed tears. Maybe being an emotional person was such a bad thing.

“Ma’am, are you leaving?” She heard Dino ask but she didn’t bother to turn around, she just headed to the gate with very slow steps and tears in her eyes.

Ana didn’t know what to do next. Her baby’s daddy was getting married, and after he had ruined her life. What was she supposed to do now?
