Yours to Own and Love Novel Cover

Yours to Own and Love

What's more annoying than sitting in a choking dress while watching greedy billionaires give each other phony smiles and thinking about your jerk of an ex boyfriend? Probably nothing! But at least there's champagne and dancing... …and giving your v-card in a fit of wildness to the dark, brooding stranger with the eyes that melt your panties off. Of course, that was before I find out he’s my dad’s best friend. After that, i realized I've messed up. He was an epitome of sexiness. He’s sinfully gorgeous, with rippling, inked muscles, eyes like dark fire, and lips that taste like good tequila and sinful decisions. Decisions like giving my virginity to a stranger on my dad's charity event before his birthday the next day. Camden Armani was a devil in disguise. Trust me, I know. It was supposed to be a one-night thing. I was supposed to never see him again. Except I did. Now he’s all I can think about, all-consuming, and making me ache for more. And that’s a huge problem. He works with my father. He’s almost twice my age. He could probably have any woman in the freaking world. And yet, all he wants is me…again, and again, and again, until he’s all I crave. This is wrong. This is obscene. I know I should say no. I know we should stop this before things go haywire. But he’s like that mouth-watering dessert you can’t say no to.

Chapter 4

I blinked awake to the sound of the ocean waves gently lapping outside and the warm sunlight streaming through the windows. I felt cozy and content, and it wasn't until I realized I was still in his arms that I understood why. I turned to look at his sleeping face, and a slow grin spread across my lips.

This was the man who had taken my virginity, even if he didn't know it. In the movies I've seen, the one-night fling isn’t always so glamorous or sexy the next day.

But that’s not true in this case, at all.

In the morning light, my stranger is somehow even sexier. My eyes swept over his face, taking in the sharp jawline, the perfect cheekbones, and the dark stubble that covered his chin. In the morning light, he looked even more handsome than he had the night before.

I turned slowly in his arms, my eyes dragging over his chest and shoulders. His body was chiseled and smooth, like it had been carved out of marble. Tattoos swirled over his shoulder and down one arm, and I felt a thrill run through me as my fingertips traced over them. He's definitely older than I thought he was at the gala—certainly more like in his thirties. His skin is olive-toned, like he might be Greek or Italian or Spanish or something.

He stirs, growling in his sleep, and his grip on me tightens. I grin, feeling the thrill of that tight grip on me. His hips shift, and I gasp quietly as I feel his big cock brush against my thigh. He’s hard, and I chance pulling away from him and glancing down between us. My jaw drops.

Jesus Christ, how the hell did that even fit in me?

He’s huge, and thick, and just looking at it has my pulse quickening and my pussy growing wetter. I grin wickedly, thinking about the idea of just reaching down and touching him, or even just sliding on top of him and teaching myself a new way to feel that cock. But first, I glance over to the bedside table.

My eyes focus on the clock there, and suddenly, I gasp as I bolt upright. “Shit!” 8am!

The birthday isn’t until this afternoon, but I’ve got a hair appointment together with Marion. Oh who is she? She's my best friend and soon to be step mother. Yes, she's getting married to my Father in three months. Weird right?

Well was at first when I found out about them. I mean, Maverick, my dad, is forty. Marion is twenty—of course that’s going to be a little weird, right? Except, it’s not really, not with them. Yes, my dad is marrying a girl my age range, and some people would freak out about that. But not once you know them.

Marion is way older than her age, and my dad is young at heart. Plus, it’s not like he’s made a habit of dating young girls or anything creepy like that. They’ve never told me the specifics, but really, it just happened. And love is love, after all.

My gasped swear stirs my gorgeous stranger awake, and he grunts as he blinks. I turn, and he looks at me as he starts to grin. “Morning, beautiful,” he purrs. His arms circle me to pull me close, and I’m so close to letting him, before I stop.

“It’s… it’s late, and I’ve got this thing.”

He frowns and looks past me at the clock before he swears and sits bolt upright. “Fuck,” he grunts. “Yeah, it is. I’ve got somewhere to be too.”

I blush. “Sorry."

“Hey,” he grins , reaching out to cup my jaw. “Just so you know, last night was… fuck, angelo,” he growls. “Last night was amazing."

I blush deeply, and suddenly, I’m falling into him. Our lips meet, and I kiss him slowly before I pull back. “I really need to shower before I leave.” He chuckles." I should get go—”

“You can shower here if you want,” I blurt out. I turn like I’m casually reaching for my phone, but it’s actually to hide the fact that I’m physically cringing at how shitty I am at this whole one-night fling thing.

“Yeah? I’d love to.”

I blink and turn back. “You would?”

He grins. “Absolutely. As long as you’re sharing it with me.”

My face burns hot, and so does the heat between my legs. “Sure,” I breathe shyly.

He follows me into the bathroom a few minutes later, giving me time to pee and start the water first. The whole bungalow is designed to look like it’s made out of bamboo and palm fronds—almost like this “glamour camping” tiki feel. Except, it’s also a five-start luxury resort, and I know these bungalows are upwards of two-thousand dollars a night. Perks of having a billionaire dad, what can I say.

The shower is open at the top to the air and covered only by palm tree fronds. I blush at my nakedness in front of him, despite everything, as I step through the glass doors into the gorgeous, huge shower. He follows, keeping close to me even though there are like four shower heads in here.

And I don’t mind one bit. I shampoo and rinse, and then reach for the soap. I glance at him as he washes his own hair, and that spark inside of me burns hot as I let my eyes drink him in. Eyes closed, he tilts his head back to rinse his dark black hair, and I bite my lip to stop the moan that wants to escape. I mean, God, he’s freaking perfect, like a freaking Armani model standing right in front of me, and totally naked. His muscles ripple, and when my eyes drop lower, I blush at the sight of his big dick.

He’s not even hard and the thing is hanging heavy and swollen between his muscled legs. Heat pulses through me, and I moan quietly. I want more of him. A lot more of him. But I know that’s stupid. I know you’re not supposed to do that with a one-night fling, right?

He opens his eyes and grins as he totally busts me staring at his cock.

“Eyes up here, Angelo.”

I blush fiercely and turn away. “Sorry,” I mumble.

“Don’t be.” I gasp at his growled words as he comes up behind me. His hands slide over my hips and then up my sides, making me shiver. They slide around to cup my soapy breasts, and his fingers roll over my nipples, making me moan quietly. But I reluctantly pull away, biting my lip.“Sorry, I…”

“We’re in a rush,” he murmurs, half smiling. “I get it.”

We finish rinsing off and step out to towel off. But the whole time, I’m still on freaking fire for him, sneaking peaks of him toweling off that body made for sin.

Out of the bathroom, I slip on a lacy black thong and matching bra, and then pull on a light rainbow coloured breezy dress. My actual dress is waiting with Marion as she had to take them for finishing touches. I’m glancing at the dress in the mirror and smoothing it out when suddenly, he’s moving behind me.

I gasp as his hands wrap around my waist and pull me close against him, and when I look back at the mirror, I moan realizing he’s still naked.

“I want you,” he growls thickly, his voice edged and primal. “I can’t let you walk out of here without feeling you again, Angelo,” he purrs.

I can feel his cock against my ass through the thin dress—so freaking hard and throbbing, and instantly, I’m soaked. I can’t even make words as I slowly nod my head, my pulse racing.

“Please,” is all I can gasp out. But it’s all he needs.

Taking a deep breath, I rapped twice and entered without waiting for permission. Small rebellions were all I had these days. "Luna." David didn't stand when I entered. The crystal chandeliers cast warm amber light across the hotel ballroom, their glow reflecting off the polished marble floors where my company's annual Thanksgiving team-building gala was in full swing. I stood at the front of the room, champagne flute in hand, watching my employees mingle and laugh—a sight that should have filled me with pride. After all, I'd built this company from nothing, and tonight's celebration in this upscale venue was a testament to our success. "Ladies and gentlemen," I called out, tapping my glass with a silver spoon. The conversations gradually died down as faces turned toward me. "I want to thank you all for making this year our most successful yet. This beautiful venue"—I gestured around the opulent ballroom with its floor-to-ceiling windows and elaborate floral arrangements—"represents not just where we are tonight, but how far we've come together." Applause rippled through the crowd, and I caught sight of Damien near the bar. My childhood sweetheart, my fiancé, the man who was supposed to be my partner in everything. I expected to see pride in his eyes, maybe that familiar warm smile that had captured my heart all those years ago. Instead, his face was a mask of barely contained fury.

The antiseptic smell of the hospital corridor burned my nostrils as I stared at Dr. Harrison Wells, willing his words to change. My father's chart trembled in his hands, the blue folder containing a death sentence unless we found a miracle. "Terminal kidney disease," he repeated, his voice gentle but firm. "We need to find a donor immediately, Mrs. Montgomery." I gripped Isaac's hand so tightly my knuckles turned white. My husband—my rock for seven years—squeezed back, his thumb tracing soothing circles against my skin. "How long does he have?" Isaac asked the question I couldn't bring myself to voice. The Tiffany box in my hand felt heavy, a dense weight of expectation for a fifth anniversary that was supposed to fix everything. The penthouse was silent, the kind of expensive silence that only money can buy in Manhattan—thick, pressurized, and smelling faintly of sandalwood and cold air. I set my keys on the marble console, the click echoing too loudly in the foyer. "Graham?" My voice wavered. I cleared my throat, smoothing the silk of my dress. I needed to be perfect. Perfection was the only currency Graham accepted lately. A strange sound drifted from the study down the hall. Not the low hum of a business call, nor the clink of a scotch glass. It was a whimper.

Allison was hiding in a dusty small-town garage, working as a mechanic to suppress the lethal, experimental serum freezing her veins. But a call from her estranged, wealthy father shattered her peace. He threatened to permanently freeze her dead mother's trust fund if she didn't return to the family estate immediately. That trust fund held the only key to the truth behind her past and her survival. When she stepped into the sprawling mansion in her faded hoodie, her family treated her like a stray dog. Her stepmother mocked her cheap clothes, and her half-brother called her a piece of trash. Her father tossed a vocational school enrollment form at her, telling her to learn to sew so they could marry her off to anyone desperate enough. Her perfect, porcelain-doll stepsister Gwyneth even deliberately smashed a glass of boiling milk against her own leg. "Why did you push me?!" Gwyneth screamed, crying tears of fake terror to frame Allison. "You vicious bitch! You're just as sick as your mother!" her father roared, raising his hand to strike her. They looked at her with absolute disgust, thinking she was just a stupid, uncultured hick they could easily manipulate and destroy. They had no idea that the girl standing before them was a lethal operative who already possessed all their offshore tax ledgers and darkest secrets. Allison easily caught her father's wrist mid-air, her grip like a steel vice. "I'm not going to a trade school," she whispered coldly, ripping the form into pieces. "I am going to Crestwood Academy." It was time to take back everything that belonged to her, with interest.
