Twin Alpha Kings Pup Mate
Chapter 3
Kiara at age nine
Kiara's POV:
The Wolf Kingdom? Isn't that where the alpha king and luna queen live?
"Why are we going there, mommy? I thought unless you've been invited, only then can you meet the alpha king and luna queen?" I asked.
"Princess, we're going there for our new kings' coronation. Every alpha around the multiverse and their families along with the beta family are invited." Said daddy, helping me get down from mommy and walking me towards the dining hall.
New kings? I didn't know that our king was about to change; they usually mention something about it at school; we usually get a day off to watch the coronation broadcast. Also, the invitees can get maximum time to travel to the palace even though this happens once every one-hundred and fifty to two hundred years, but it's still considered a big day that we get a holiday. From what I learned from the essential werewolf history book I was currently reading in the pack library was that wolves are eternal, meaning we don't age after some time; however, for the werewolf monarch to stay strong, a change in power is done every one-hundred and fifty to two hundred years.
"Daddy, does that mean Jacob is also coming with us?" I asked excitedly. He did say the beta family was also invited.
"Yes, princess, Jacob, his parents and brothers are also tagging along." Said daddy, smiling at me.
Goddess yayy!
I loved having my best friend around.
"Let me go, daddy; he and I have to pack," I said, letting go of daddy's hand and rushing off to find JJ and tell him the exciting news.
"Princess, what about lunch?" I heard daddy yell from behind me.
"It's okay, daddy; I'll eat later. Lots to do, so little time. Bye, daddy." I said as I ran as fast as I could. I didn't want daddy catching up and then force-feeding me.
"Woah, Woah, slow down, Kiki. Where's the fire?" I heard one of my brothers say when I bumped straight into him.
Ugh! I should've watched where I was going. Now he's going to keep me busy, and I won't have enough time to pack all the snacks for Jacob and me for the trip. Looking up, I see Kelix looking down at me with a smile.
"Let me go, Kelix; I have to go pack. Otherwise, I might miss something that Jacob or I might need on the way." I said, trying to get out of his hold. Suddenly, I'm picked up and thrown on his back; I shriek.
Ugh! They know I hate when they do something like this.
"No, can do kiki; dad wants you to go eat something before we head out." Said Kelix
Seriously!
I try to wiggle out of his hold, but my ginormous brother does not even bludge.
Dumb male wolves and their super big bodies!
Now was definitely a time when I didn't like being so small.
As soon we reached the dining hall, Kelix, took me to the alpha table, where daddy, mommy and my other two dumb brothers were sitting.
"I don't like you." I huffed out at Kelix as soon as he sat me next to daddy and Phoenix.
I heard everyone snicker around me.
Humph!
"Don't pout, princess. Eat something; there won't be time to stop on the way, and plus, didn't you have a double physical tolerance class today. You must be starving." Said daddy as he kissed me on my blown-out cheek.
I did say that the alpha family was supposed to be role models, so I tended to be prim and proper outside, but no one said I couldn't tweak a few tricks at home to get my way. I was, after all, their princess.
I was hungry, but who would pack the chocolate milk, the gummies, the chocolate bar and the two-bite brownies if I sat here. I had to take everything out of the secret stash under my clothes in my dressing room. But from its looks, I wasn't going anywhere without eating this yucky asparagus and mushroom-filled chicken.
Yuck! I hated eating vegetables; well, I loved french fries, which were made from potatoes, but the rest, eww, yuck.
I scrunched my nose and picked up my fork, trying to eat this insect-infected thing they called a meal. Who knows how many bugs lived in this asparagus or mushroom before they served it in front of me. Maybe if I eat really, really fast, I won't taste the asparagus and mushroom. As soon as I did that, I caught a coughing fit.
"Slow down, honey." Said mommy as Kelix helped me drink some water and pat my back.
"Never knew you started loving your greens, baby sis." I heard Helix snicker from the sides.
I glared at him, making my eyes pop out as they did in the cartoons. He would get scared then, right? Sadly, he just full-on laughed instead.
"Kiki, your adorable! Don't do that. Your eyes might fall out!" Said Helix.
What could they do? No, I never read anything like that before, but what if they did. How would I read my books and play with Jacob then? Wait, I just got an idea. Tears came to my eyes.
"Hey, Kiki, I was joking. Don't cry, silly." Said Helix, coming over and hugging me.
"Honey, he was kidding! Alright, go and pack; I think you've had enough. I'll tell the omegas to pack you some sandwiches for the way," I heard mom say.
"For Jacob as well, right, mommy?" I said, with my eyes still a little moist.
Mommy snickered before nodding and telling me to get ready quickly. I ran out of the dining hall and zoomed to my room. I closed the door and locked it when I got in, drawing my curtains. Fist bumping the air, mission successful!
I'm a genius, even though I hate lying in front of my family and pretending to be upset. But, today, it was necessary. I wouldn't be able to pack the snacks and would even have to eat those hideous things they call vegetables.
One time won't matter, right? Sorry though, moon goddess, I promise not to do that again, well, not entirely, but I promise to only act like that when the need is absolutely needed. After sending a small apology to the goddess, I check around one more time to make sure no one can see anything and go to my secret stash to take out something for the trip.
