The Three Guys Regretted after I Got Married

The Three Guys Regretted after I Got Married

Everyone in Kaelton envied me for the three elite young people my parents adopted, who treated me like a queen. Rodger Burton spent millions to light up the city with fireworks for the whole night to celebrate my birthday. Larry Burton planted roses throughout the estate to make me happy. Ethan Burton crafted a unique ring just for me with his rib to prove his sincerity. I was overjoyed, believing myself to be the happiest woman in the world. But when I accidentally ate a cake containing peanuts and nearly went into shock, I overheard the three guys whispering to Cailey Kirk, the daughter of the servant, Vida Kirk, in the hospital corridor. "Don't be afraid. She is merely allergic and went into shock. It is just a lesson for her." "Isn't she allergic to peanuts? We doubled the amount in the cake to punish her so that she would never have the guts to show off in front of you again." "Relax. She won't die. We just wanted to teach her a lesson for upsetting you." I stood in the shadows, and my heart turned cold. I nearly lost my life, but it was just the three guys' cruel joke to win Cailey over. Looking at the emergency medication Jayden Price had sent to my bedside, I wiped my tears and called my father, Huxley Burton. "I'll marry Jayden, despite his scars."

Chapter 5

After the banquet, Jayden took me away from that suffocating place. The three guys intended to follow me, but two bodyguards blocked their path and prevented them from even approaching the car door. They could only watch helplessly as I got into the back seat of the Maybach without looking back. Upon returning home, Rodger shattered an expensive vase angrily. "She's lost her mind. Just to spite us, she's willing to ruin her entire life and marry that volatile and eccentric guy, Jayden!" Ethan sat lazily on the sofa and scoffed with disdain. "Rodger, why do you even bother with her? I think she deliberately asked Jayden to go there and provoke us. Since she was a little girl, she has always come back to apologize to us after throwing a tantrum. Just wait and see. Crossing his legs, he said confidently, "Jayden was a lunatic. She can't stay with him for a long time. She'll be back crying and begging us to take her in within three days." With tears in her eyes, Cailey cautiously tugged at Larry's sleeve. "It's all my fault... Lorna must have acted impulsively to avoid me. Maybe... maybe I should go and plead with her to come back?" Larry pulled her protectively behind him and felt sorry for her. "You plead with her? She insists on being with Jayden. If she ends up dead, it's her own doing! It's just good that she's gone. Now this house can be peaceful. No one dares to bully you anymore, Cailey." Huxley, who had been silent all along, finally said with satisfaction. "It's a good thing for Lorna to have ties with the Price family. We have to hold a grand wedding for them, inviting every big shot throughout the city. I want everyone to know that the Burton family is now allied with the Price family." The next morning, the Price family's moving team arrived at the Burton family's house. They headed straight for my room. Ethan was still bleary-eyed when he came downstairs. He was furious at the sight. "Who gave you permission to move these things?" The head butler expressionlessly handed over a list and a recorder. He pressed play. My clear and indifferent voice came from it. "Take everything my mother left on the list without exception. I don't want anything given by Rodger, Larry, or Ethan. They're an eyesore. Destroy them all on the spot." Ethan's face went pale instantly. The gifts that once symbolized their so-called "affection" were now publicly declared for what they were in the most brutal manner. Rodger glared at the pile of "trash" and clenched his jaw as he forced out the words. "Fine. Lorna, I'll be waiting for the day you can't stand Jayden and come crying back to me!" That evening, Cailey, for the first time in the role of the lady of the house, attempted to direct the servants in preparing dinner. However, she was clueless about Huxley's tastes and served him a soup he despised the most. "Bang!" He slammed his hand on the table and caused the soup to spill all over Cailey's carefully chosen white dress. The three guys frantically tried to calm Huxley, who was enraged. At the same time, they attended to Cailey, who was disheveled. The dining room was in an utter mess. For the first time, they vaguely sensed that this seemingly glamorous house was starting to be messy without me.

Betrayed Wife: Reclaiming My Stolen Life
7.5
On the morning of our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, I found a cream-colored document tucked inside my husband's suit pocket. It was a twenty-million-dollar asset transfer for his former receptionist, Carmen. But what made my blood run cold was the contingent beneficiary: Leo, my newborn son who the hospital claimed was kidnapped twenty-three years ago. When I confronted Devonte, he didn't even try to explain. He handed me a fake Cartier watch, canceled all my credit cards, and publicly called me delusional. The next day, he moved Carmen into our mansion and emptied all our joint accounts into offshore trusts. "If you don't sign these papers and walk away, I will have you committed," he threatened, his mother nodding in agreement. They had orchestrated the kidnapping of my baby, hiding him with the mistress while I spent half my life sedated and screaming in grief. Now, to keep his secret, Devonte was going to lock me in a psychiatric ward and bury me in debt. I didn't understand how the man I loved could be such a monster. Why did he steal my child? What else was hidden in that confidential adoption file? Pushed to the absolute brink, I refused to be his victim. When his goons came to my temporary apartment to drag me away, I turned to the rugged union electrician who had just fixed my lights. "If you need a husband to keep you out of a psych ward, I'll marry you," he said, offering himself as my legal shield. I took his hand. It was time to tear my husband's perfect life apart.

Indianna Hughs had always been the quiet one, the shy one. She stayed in the background, blending in, never getting noticed. She liked it that way. So when she's forced to move schools, she isn't happy. Everyone notices the new kid, and she doesn't want that kind of attention. Especially not from Mr. Bad Boy, who seems a little too interested in her. "She's shy," Brooke shrugged, glancing at Indianna, who looked like she'd rather be anywhere else but in the classroom with them. "Well, come on," Greyson said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I don't bite." Indianna stiffened just like before. "Don't say that," she replied quietly, but there was firmness in her tone now. Greyson raised an eyebrow, a slow smirk forming on his lips. "Did I hit a nerve?" he asked. "Guess you're not as innocent as you look." This is the edited and rewritten version of Shy. All rights reserved.

I was the adopted daughter of the wealthy Ruiz family, but the moment their true heir appeared, I was thrown away like trash. Not long after being kicked out, my adoptive father and uncle hired a hitman to stage a fatal car crash on Mulholland Drive. Pinned under an overturned Porsche with a shattered leg, I watched the hitman point a suppressed pistol between my eyes. "The Ruiz family sends their regards." Before this, my reputation had already been completely destroyed by a director, a pop idol, and a reality TV star, leaving me blacklisted and universally hated. My adoptive family didn't just want me ruined; they wanted me permanently silenced to tie up loose ends. The hitman pulled the trigger, and the original Alicia died in despair, tasting only rain and blood. Until her last breath, she didn't understand. Why did the family she loved treat her like a disposable object? Why did those three men maliciously frame her and turn the world against her? Opening my eyes again, the fear was gone, replaced by an ancient, cosmic indifference. I, the Arbiter, had taken over this deceased vessel. Moving faster than the human eye, I crushed the hitman's steel gun with my bare hand and turned his soul into dust. Looking at the memories of those who wronged this girl, I signed a contract for the very reality show they were starring in. Since I borrowed this body, taking out the trash is a required courtesy.

My Alpha Brother is my Mate

"This is wrong," I said, my voice rough and strained. "I'm your older brother... we can't do this." I tried to pull away from her, forcing some distance between us, but my body wouldn't cooperate. The pull toward her was too powerful, too deep in my bones. She didn't let go. Instead, she tugged me closer, guiding me toward the bed. One of her soft hands pressed flat against my bare chest, right over my pounding heart, while her other arm wrapped around the back of my neck, holding me there. Her eyes burned with hunger as she looked up at me. In a low, needy voice, she whispered, "Whether you believe you're my mate or not... I'm giving you my first everything tonight. All of me. Right now." The words hit me like a shockwave. Every single inch of my body-my soul, my wolf-screamed the same thing over and over in my head: Mate. Mate. Mate. The instinct roared so loud it drowned out everything else, every rational thought, every rule I'd ever lived by. I crashed my mouth against hers in a hungry, desperate kiss, claiming her completely. My hands gripped her waist, pulling her flush against me as I muttered against her lips, "And I don't care anymore about morals or rules or any of that bullshit. I'm the ruler of these lands... and you're mine. All mine." I was completely crazy about her. Obsessed. Possessed. She was mine-every part of her-and nothing in the world was going to change that.
