Chapter 5

"Who is holding me?" Please let me be, I don't need this kind of joke." I Said

I observed it was a female body. I decided to shout the name of Richy. Immediately she let me be

I ran in the distance, watching her. Fair lady with coiled hair. Her fingers were shining, her lips were reddish, her brown eyes, and long earrings in her ears.

She stood watching me when I went to sit down.

I knew she had a lot to say and I was wondering who she could be and how she knew me.

"You are our Luna at Oakwood pack, where I lived for some time, and you are acting like you don't know me, Irene?"

My ears were wide open when she mentioned the name of the pack.

Definitely, she knows me very well and wouldn't want to act like I do not know her.

"I am sorry, just that I don't like the way you held me. Where are you going?"

She was glad to hear Luna apologize to her. She told me that she's rushing to the market.

"I am rushing to the market. I will visit your pack in two weeks. It appears you came to the garden here. Stay cool?."

She said and moved fast to where she was going to

From her descriptions, Oakwood Pack isn't far from the forest where I was.

Having told me the pack's name was splendid. I started thinking of how to find my way there so that the Alpha would take care of me

The Alpha of Oakwood is alive. She asked me to greet him when he was running to meet up where she was going

I was glad to see her but I was surprised she came closer to the garden when others followed other routes.

Could it be that she wanted to come and have some fresh air?

Whatever the case, she has given me the info I wanted.

I thought of asking Richy where the Oakwood Pack is but I had a second thought. He will know but I will do so myself.

I moved to freshen up and start looking for ways to get to the Oakwood Pack before I heard the voice of Richy calling me.

To discharge him, I told him I would be coming to meet him at his hotel in a few minutes.

I rushed to the bathroom, took my bath quickly, and came out. I changed into a new cloth I got from the bag.

A black goggles that will fit my colour. I needed to put it on to avoid being identified by many.

I rubbed the cream on my body and decided to apply the fragrance I saw there.

I got to the door, opened it, and locked it back.

"Where are you going dressed like this?"

My hands and legs became stiff. His voice sounds like he is not happy with me.

I didn't know what to say to him I decided to pause a little, calculating what to tell him

"You scared me. I don't like someone to ambush me. You won't do such a thing again." I spoke angrily to him

"Let's go to your hot, you need to go change up let's move out, I am tired of staying in the forest always "

I said with a pretentious smile. He reminded me that I didn't lock the door but I asked him not to bother.

Richy is very smart and I don't even know how to deceive him and run away.

I insisted he should go and take his bath and dress decently while I waited for him outside.

He went in to comply while moving around the place. I tried to work out modalities on how to escape the place.

When I had him pouring water I decided to run away. I ran very fast only to see a gate with two warriors.

I greeted them and passed.

"Hold on and don't move." One of them stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

"I need to pick something from the market. I am in a hurry." I said as I tried to move, he blocked me

He removed his eye class. Looked at me the second time after he wiped his face with a handkerchief.

"Mrs. Vince, sorry I didn't know you were the one. My regards to Alpha Vince."

"Let me escort you a little. I expect you to follow the Forest route rather than the main road."

He gave me hints about the Alpha by mentioning his name. He followed me closer to the market.

I told him I am not very conversant with the main road he mentioned and he knows I don't go out often.

He promised to do so, asking that I go get what I wanted while he waits.

I told him I changed my mind about buying things. I let him know I just wanted to walk around and I may not have enough money to get the items I needed.

He got me a cab and told the driver to take me to the Oakwood Pack through the major road

I thanked him for his assistance and concern.

Entering the car, I saw a man who was running, shouting, "Irene, hold on."

That was Richy who was running as if something was after him.

I quickly entered the cab and ordered the driver to speed up.

When he entered the road to his left, I couldn't see him again. I knew he would be very unhappy.

The driver was running at a high speed to the point that I asked him to slow down.

He stopped in front of a black gate. Three warriors were in front of the gate. I tried to picture the place but I couldn't.

"Madam, there is the Oakwood Pack gate to our left. I have been paid by the man who brought me to you." The driver said

I carefully stepped out of the cab and crossed to the left. Straight to the gate

"Our Luna is welcome back, longest time. We missed you. Baby has really missed you so much."

I looked at the one talking. He is about 6.5 feet tall. Holding a sword in his hand, an iron cap, and warrior's wear

"Did you say baby?"

"Yes, your daughter. The one you gave birth to before you ran away after the war we won."

That was another revelation. Irene had a baby, who is one year old.

"Where are my baby and husband currently?" I asked

He pointed to the place I should follow and I appreciated him.

If I raise an alarm that I am not Irene no one will believe me. I have to relax and act like I am Irene.

Meanwhile, I needed to watch how Vince would take me. I do not even know what he looks like.

It would take time to get to where the Alpha is. I got worried about how he would treat me

How do I handle the baby I know nothing about?

I don't see myself as Irene and I don't even remember how I got to the forest and all that had happened.

Those who saw me were shocked. They were waving at me and showing some level of respect.

Thoroughly Irene was popular and kind to them. She must be a good person and Luna to them.

A lady came and embraced me. She held my hand and couldn't stop smiling.

He was called from the gate that you are at in the compound.

"Let me take you to him and bring your baby to you too." She said,

As soon as the door opened, I had a shout from the Small hall I entered. They were clapping and cheering at me.

A man walked straight to me and hung a golden chain around my neck
